REGRETFUL
EPISODE 4
Isabel was furious as she called Dave, recounting everything Isabella had said about him. “She accused you of human traff!.cking and other terrible things!” she exclaimed.
Dave was calm on the other end of the call, and quickly regained his composure. “Isabel, my dear, it’s not what you think. Isabella has been trying to get my attention for a while now. She’s been begging me to leave you and date her instead.”
Isabel’s anger boiled over as she listened to Dave’s l!es. She couldn’t believe her sister would stoop so low. “Dave, I can’t believe my sister would do this! She’s always been jealous of me, and now she’s trying to sabotage our relationship.”
Dave continued to man!.pulate Isabel, playing on her emotions. “I’m sorry to tell you this, Isabel, but Isabella isn’t a good sister. She’s been trying to come between us from the start.”
Isabel was heartbroken, tears streaming down her face. “My own sister is evil! I always defended her when Dad spoke ill of her, but now I see the truth.”
As soon as the call ended, Isabel stormed into Isabella’s room, her anger and hurt evident on her face. “You’re shameless, Isabella! You’re after my man, and you’ll stop at nothing to get him!”
Isabella stood her ground, refusing to back down. “I’d rather be single than have a man who’s into human traff!.cking as a boyfriend or husband! Love has blinded your eyes and clouded your sen.se of reasoning.”
The sisters’ argument escalated into a physical fight, with their mother intervening to stop them. Isabella stormed out of the room, her damaged phone in hand. She took it to a repairer, only to be told it was beyond repair.
Frustrated but not defeated, Isabella reached out to her friend and shared her story. Together, they hatched a plan to expose Dave’s sinister activities and rescue Isabel from his grasp.
With newfound determination, Isabella and her friend worked tirelessly to gather evidence and build a case against Dave.
“Just when they thought they were getting closer to exposing Dave’s sinister activities, it seems their efforts are being thwarted at every turn. Despite gathering evidence and working tirelessly, Dave remains one step ahead, always seeming to anticipate their next move. His newfound wariness is a testament to the fact that he’s finally realized Isabella is not the naive and innocent girl everyone thought she was. The game is on, and it’s clear that Dave will stop at nothing to stay ahead of the game.”
Within a shockingly short period, the day of Isabel’s wedding to Dave had arrived. Isabella’s worst fears were unfolding before her eyes. She had tried every possible way to convince her sister not to go through with the marriage, but her warnings fell on deaf ears. Isabel was too far gone, blinded by her love for Dave, and refused to listen.
As the wedding ceremony progressed, Isabella’s anxiety grew. She couldn’t bear the thought of her sister tying the knot with a man she knew was hiding a dark secret. She made one final attempt to reach her sister, begging her to reconsider and not make a mistake that would haunt her for the rest of her life.
“Isabel, please don’t do this!” Isabella cried, her voice shaking with desperation. “You don’t know the truth about Dave. He’s not the man you think he is. He’s hiding something, and I know it. Don’t marry him, please!”
But Isabel’s resolve was unshakeable. She just smiled condescendingly at her sister and continued with the ceremony. The exchange of vows, the rings, and the final pronouncement of husband and wife – it all felt like a nightmare to Isabella.
As the newlyweds were bid farewell by their friends and family, including their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Okafor, Isabella couldn’t hold back her tears. She felt like she had failed her sister, unable to save her from the clutches of a man she knew was trouble.
As Isabel and Dave drove away, leaving Isabella behind, her sobs grew louder. She felt helpless and defeated, her heart heavy with grief. She couldn’t shake the feeling that she had lost her sister to a m0nster.
Isabel and Dave walked into their home, hand in hand, like a newlywed couple should. But the atmosphere quickly turned dark. Dave pulled out his phone and dialed a number, speaking to Isabel’s parents in a sweet tone. “Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Okafor, just wanted to let you know that we’ll be traveling out of the country in two days. Don’t worry if you don’t hear from Isabel for a while, we’ll be busy enjoying our honeymoon.”
Isabel smiled naively, unaware of the sinister plans unfolding before her eyes. As soon as Dave ended the call, she asked him innocently, “Hey, where’s our room? I can’t wait to settle in.”
Dave’s response sent a chill down her spine. “Which room?” he asked, his eyes gleaming with malice. “Our room, of course,” Isabel replied, confusion etched on her face.
Dave’s smile grew wider as he demanded, “Give me your phone.” Isabel handed it over, and he smashed it on the floor, leaving her in a state of panic. “Why did you do that?” she asked, her voice trembling.
Dave ignored her question and dialed another number, speaking in a hushed tone. “By three days’ time, I’ll be done with this house… You’ll give me 15 million for this girl in front of me. I spent a lot on her, taking her on dates, renting f@ke parents to stand in as mine… It’s a small price to pay.”
Isabel’s eyes widened in horror as she realized the truth. “What’s going on, Dave? What do you mean?” she asked.
Dave continued on the phone, “By three days’ time, come get her. Bye.” He dropped the phone and approached Isabel, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. “I have to have a taste of you… By three days’ time, you’ll be s0ld.”
Isabel’s mind raced as she tried to process the nightmare unfolding before her. “S0ld? What do you mean? I thought you loved me!” she asked, her voice laced with desperation.
Dave’s laughter sent chills down her spine. “You are cute, Isabel. I like you, that’s why I want to have a taste of you… I don’t taste my girls. I marry them and se!l them immediately, but you are different.”
Isabel’s eyes welled up with tears as she realized her sister had been right all along. “You mean, my sister is right? You’re into human traff!.cking?” she asked.
Dave’s response was devoid of empathy. “Oh yes, she is right. You f**l, instead of believing your sister, you decided to believe me… Well, it’s all good.” He laughed maniacally, his eyes gleaming with a sinister light.
As Dave reached out to touch her, Isabel pushed him away, her heart racing with fear. She tried to run, but Dave was too quick. He chased after her, his laughter echoing through the room, leaving Isabel with a sense of dread that her life would never be the same again.
