Bright offered to take me somewhere we could talk, and there I explained everything to him.
He was compassionate. He took me in to leave with him. He promised to take care of my mom’s burial and further my education which he did.
After my second year in school, he made a little party in the house to celebrate it. I was looking so stunning and beautiful that night and he was just smiling and starring at me so much that I had to ask “why are starring at me like that sir?”
“hmm… u won’t stop calling me sir, will u?”. He sighed and smiled again. He came closer to me ” have i ever told u how beautiful u are?”. He said as he gently started kissing me on my neck. He caressed me, and kissed me right on my lips.
I stood still not knowing what to do. i didn’t understand how I was feeling at that moment. But it was clear to me that he wanted me that night. He went further to pull my cloths then I resisted.
“what? you’re a virgin?” he asked. And I nodded a “yes sir.”
He smiled and gave me an assurance that he did not want to use me. He told me he loved me and would want to live his life with me. I felt secured and I let him make love to me.
Days past we relocated to a new place and I started to notice some drastic change in his attitude. He gets angry at every little thing I do he beats me up at the slightest opportunity he gets. He has never done that be4. it was as if he hid his true identity and is just showing them to me now.
I’ve lived with Bright for 5 years now, he was never married to me, and i don’t know wat he is waiting for. i live with him as God knows what! but most people believe we are married. He’s ambitious, but sadly, too full of himself. I managed to put up with him until I graduated from school. He bought me a car but he didn’t want me taking any job, he said it will make me not to have time for him as his woman so he opened a boutique for me rather. Everything he bought for me, the papers were signed with his name.
This morning we had an argument and I walked out on him, going to my store. Few hours later he called me. “Sandra when u get home, don’t bother looking for what to wear cos I’ve burnt them all, u can go pick the ashes in the backyard since u can’t respect me anymore I’ll teach u how to”.
How dare Bright do this to me! what kind of a man is this?. I angrily reversed my car to go back home. I didn’t notice a man coming in front of me, before I could hit the gare, it was already too late…
” oh my God! I just knocked someone down!”

My name is David, I’m 30 years old. U can call me the fun kind of guy. I’m handsome, smart, well balanced but I still don’t have a woman in my life yet. That aside, my both parents died in a plane crash so I’m the one now running all my dad’s business affairs. And I must compliment myself, I’m doing a good job.
I live alone, in this big house… No not alone anymore, Becos of my compassion for people, I’ve employed two hardworking twin sisters, Ruth & Rose (they were orphans. I found them working for food and being harassed by men, so I just decided to help them), they take care of my house and in return I pay their bills.
My uncle, Mr Tim (Timothy) has been so supportive and helpful to me but right now he’s becoming a pest (sorry to use the word). He’s on my neck concerning getting a wife. He even went as far as introducing me to Mr Fred’s daughter, Felicia. I didn’t like her but just to please my uncle I decided to give it a try. Our first date was a disaster so I ended it right there. My uncle was mad about this but I didn’t care. Each time we talk he likes to always chip in the topic. “David u know u are the only son and child of ur late father, his happiness would be to see u settled down. What is the essence of ur success without a woman?”. Uncle Tim keeps telling me.
“I will get a wife when I find one!”. I would hit back at him.
Out of frustration, i decided to take a break from everyone. I took a trip some where a bit far from home, I didn’t tell my uncle where I went but I told him I’ll be back soon.
I got to my apartment and decided to take a walk, at least to check out the environment. I just remembered I left my phone in my room. And as I turned back to the hotel, I didn’t see this car coming…….
Booom! ๐ฅ๐ฅ light fades
