🍁🍂THE TURN AROUND 14🍂🍁
Bright felt embarrassed. “you! Michael! you’re leaving my house today! get out of my house before I call the police.” Bright shouted. “fine… I’ll leave, Sandra come with me or else u might not survive a night in this house”. David said. “she’s going no where.” Bright retorted. Sandra’s head was spinning, she had to make a decision either to leave or stay.
“if I leave I’d be stranded on the street, I could he harmed out there. But if I stay what difference will it make?” she thought to herself. “If Michael leaves I’ll leave too” she finally spoke. “oh I see, the both of u have conspired against me after all I’ve done for u Sandra. fine! u can leave but make sure u don’t pick anything in my house as u leave, and don’t come back to this house begging.” Bright warned. “in fact hold on, I’m coming”. He rushed upstairs and came back with an old folded wrapper and threw it on Sandra’s face. “take this and get lost!”. Bright shouted. Sandra held the wrapper and wept bitterly. It was the wrapper which her late mother wore b4 the day she died. Bright did it on purpose. He wanted to remind her of where she came from b4 he met her. Sandra looked at Bright and said “you’ll regret this! I promise u!” she said her last words and she left with David.
They walked a long distance from Bright’s street. it was 11:50pm, the moon was bright, the air was fresh, there was no one on the street except them. Sandra wasn’t afraid, she had seen enough already, and she was ready for the worst. At this point, it dawned on Sandra that she had been wasting her time with Bright all this years.
They finally found a spot where they could lay their head. it was a garden of flowers next to a gate, and they entered inside. David tried to cheer Sandra up “everything will be okay.” he said as she laid her head on his thighs. “she looks even more beautiful in the moon light”. David thought to himself as he pats her hair. “How I wish I could just kiss her and tell her how much I’ve fallen for her, but this is totally the wrong time. I don’t even know what will be of us by day break, eh? I wish I could do something. I don’t even know who I am, or where I am from. I want to remember!” David thought to himself. Sandra didn’t say a word, she was also full of thoughts “If not for Michael by my side, maybe I’d have committed suicide. I just want to die. God should just take my life.” She wept.
The next morning Sandra thought she would be died but she was woken up by the voice of David singing “happy birthday to you…”. This made her joyful. She had completely forgotten about her birthday. “oh my God” she laughed with both hands on her face. “happy birthday sunshine”…
The fun was interrupted by the blaring of a car coming out of the gate. “Musa! who are those mad people inside those flowers? and how did they get in there?”. The man in the car asked the gate man. “oga walahi I no no” the gate man replied. “Hey both of u get out of there! hope u are not thieves!?” he shouted. This got David upset and he replied the man. “excuse me sir, with due respect, we’re no thieves. You don’t talk to people in such manner. We’re all human beings u know.” David said as Sandra took his hands and said they should better leave. The man in the car took off the glasses he was wearing to see David more clearer. He was rather surprised than angry. “Unbelievable!! David!!

Somebody who can’t remember a thing can now remember someone birthday without her{Sandra} telling him(David) any birthday date, this tory na wa ooo
