Favour dashed out of the house, Joyce ran after her “Where are you going”
“I’m going to Pamela, she has what belongs to me, and I’m going to get it”
“It’s not as easy as that, She’s the president” Joyce exclaimed
“Pamela has caused me enough pain I won’t take this from her I hope she has not used my daughter for ritual” she began to weep
“Thanks for telling us, you can leave” Joyce dismissed the caregiver.
“Now Favour, let’s pray again, Pamela herself will have no peace till she returns the baby” They held their hands and prayed
Pamela’s lawyer visited her again, he covered his nose “Your excellency ma, I came to ask what age should we give Triumphant her share, we will be visiting Mr. Thomas tomorrow, we have gotten his address in Ghana” He held his breath
“Thank you, hmm I want triumphant to get her shares immediately to avoid stories, I know she can’t own it she’s still young, somebody can get it on her behalf, let me think about it before you come back from the trip tomorrow, I will surely have an answer”
“Ok Ma” he went out swiftly
Rolland and his family just heard the death of Silas, they were grieving when Pamela’s delegates visited them. Her lawyer, her aide, and Triumphant representing her.
“We are here to see Mr. Thomas” Lawyer Drake said after exchanging pleasantries.
“Hope no problem,” Rolland asked
“Just a message from Her excellency President Pamela of Nigeria”
Rolland went in and came out with Thomas, Thomas starred at Triumphant, as tears rolled down his face
“Why is he crying,” Naomi asked her husband
“I can see my wife’s face in that baby,” Thomas said faintly
“Whoo, he can talk, his memory is back” Rolland and his wife marveled. Rolland hugged his friend, but his eyes were still on Triumphant, “She looked so much like my wife; Christianah” He repeated.
Lawyer Drake cleared his throat “She’s President Pamela’s adopted daughter, She has sent us to read an apology letter to you
“keep the letter to yourself, I will accept her apology only if she allows me to do DNA on this child, she will help me with the money, then I will forgive her wholeheartedly. I need to clear my doubt” he said.
“We will tell her what you said” They left.
“We are happy to have you back” Naomi exclaimed
“Where you all sad because of me”
“No” they nodded “Your son was here”
“My son?”
“Yes” they showed him his picture
“This is God!, thank you, Jesus. Where is he now?”
There was silence in the room “You had an accident the day he came, you went into a comma, you came back again but with no memory” Rolland broke the silence.
“That does not matter now where is Silas,” He asked Joyfully
“He’s no more”
“Haaa” They quickly held him to prevent him from falling “My enemies have triumphed” He closed his eyes and begged for death “What killed him?”
“He was a victim of kidnap and ritual and that happened in Nigeria not here” Naomi answered
“Ritual? that was how his mother died.” He cried bitterly.

The delegates informed Pamela what Thomas said “hmm that was why I adopted this baby, she looked so much like my friend, Christianah, let him go ahead” she called her aide, “Go to the orphanage home you picked her form. let them trace her mother. Lawyer Drake, once they find her, Triumphant shares of my property should be given to her to manage till she grows up. My insist tells me her mother is alive.” She gasped and breathed her last breath. Kakamura was found dead days after.
Favour had cried out her eyes, begging God to allow her to see her daughter, The Caregiver walked in quietly with pleasant smiles on her face. She signaled other people that came with her to come inside. Favor and Joyce jumped up immediately, “That’s my daughter” Favour exclaimed
“President Pamela has instructed them to bring your child to you,” the caregiver said smiling.
“Yes I said it she’s my daughter” She leaped for Joy
“Madam you are going to sign this” Doctor Drake gave her a document “Late President Pamela has willed more than half of her properties home and abroad to your daughter which happens to be her adopted daughter, and you will be managing the resources on her behalf”
“Oh my God!” Joyce was jumping up happily while Favour looked in astonishment her hand shivered as she signed the document.
The Lawyers phone rang, he answered the call. “What!, the DNA matches, that’s wonderful, we have seen her mother even” He dropped the phone. “Madam, your daughter’s DNA matches with that of a man in Ghana, Mr. Thomas his son bears Silas though late now”
“Silas that’s my husband, I would love to meet the father, please take me to him” She was so nervous, Joyce was not left behind. They all traveled to Ghana. Thomas was so happy to meet his daughter-in-law and granddaughter. It was a moment of both Joy and sadness.
“I wish Silas is here” Favour cried.
Silas was buried, President Pamela’s death was announced and the Vice President automatically became the president. Triumphant grew up in the wisdom of God and devoted herself to creating HIV awareness and helping people living with aids. Although Favour was tested negative, no medical proof to reasons why she was negative and her daughter positive. They lived on happily marking the death of Silas year after year.
