Episode Mama Ify could not sleep, she kept turning on her bed, praying for sleep to come, but sleep was very far away. Her mind kept taking her back to Ify, what if something bad happens to her out there? Her inner voice kept asking her, but she waved it off, afterall that was not the first time she chased her out of the house if she did something wrong, Ify usually spent the night at her friend’s family house whenever something like that happened. mama Ify kept looking at the ceiling and thinking about what Ify told her. “No, pastor Ezekiel cannot do such a thing, he is a faithful servant of God, he is a righteous man and cannot commit such an abomination” she kept consoling herself. She felt very bad for chasing Ify out by that time of the night, and made up her mind to bring her back to the house the next morning.
Pastor Ezekiel woke up earlier than usual, he was very eager to know if the abortion was successful or he had to give her more drugs, so he hurriedly left his wife on bed and strolled to the room Ify stayed in. He knocked on the door so many times but there was no reply, he kept knocking, yet no reply. He turned the knob of the door and it opened, he was surprised Ify did not lock the door before sleeping. He walked into the room but did not see Ify on the bed, his heart skipped, he walked further into the room and saw Ify’s lifeless body on the floor just beside the bed.
He rushed to where Ify laid and shook her, but Ify did not wake up, her flare gown was stained with blood, her body was very cold and stiff, her face looked pale and sad. Pastor Ezekiel looked at the bed and it was stained with blood as well. Out of fear, he placed his ears on her heart to feel her heartbeat, but there was nothing, he held her hand to check her pulse, yet nothing. Ify was truly dead. Pastor Ezekiel stepped back in fear, his heart was racing, how could Ify die just like that, the chemist woman that gave her those drugs assured him it would work. He rushed to where the black waterproof was to check the drugs he gave to her, then he realized he gave her an overdose drugs, his eyes popped out in agony. He was too eager to get rid of the pregnancy that he didn’t know he gave her more than what he was told. He was doomed and he had to act fast.
