SISTER ADURAGBEMI
PART 8

Mr. Akinpelu intensified his prayers when he realized that his wife had truly gone.
Despite the fact that he prayed fervently to God, some negative thoughts were creeping into his heart.
He was scared that something bad would happen to his wife. He knew in his spirit that the devil was after his marriage. The devil wanted to destabilize Adura by causing division in the family. Once there is division in the family, the care and love for a child will be divided. In fact, a wife being bitter towards her husband may lead to the wife’s difficulty in loving a young and helpless child.
That day, Mr. Akinpelu lived in malaise of despair to the extent that he couldn’t pray again.
He just didn’t want the devil to really fulfill his mission in her life and family. The mission of stealing her away from him, killing her beautiful soul and destroying the family at large
As he was praying, something was telling him that his wife was dead. Something told him he was wasting his time, praying to God.
He remained confused for minutes.
When it was as if negative thoughts kept on trooping into his heart, he walked into his room.
“God!!!!!! My wife must not die.” He shouted. He fell on his knees, crying to God.
As he was praying, he slept off.
He dreamt. He saw himself in a terrible state. Hopeless! Depressed and tired of everything! He was still in his hopeless state when someone tapped him.
“For how long will you remain in this state? Are you trying to tell me that the God you are serving is blind or deaf or dumb?
Haven’t you prayed about the situation? Why are you still worried? If you are worried about the situation, that means you don’t have faith in God.
Worry is just like a fire extinguisher. It quenches the faith “in God” you claim to have, making you to doubt him.
Remember, the JUST shall live by faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord. Without faith you cannot receive anything from God.
Worry will hinder God from answering your prayers. God has promised you that he will grant the desires of your heart.
Have you ever come across that particular promise in the scripture where God told a lie or promised what he couldn’t fulfill?
Hold God by his words with a strong faith. Believe He has done it and begin to appreciate Him.
Devil doesn’t want you to be happy. He wants you to be worried to the extent that you will begin to speak against God. In fact, he wants you to be worried, depressed till you take the step of committing suicide.
The moment you begin to wear a happy face, the moment you begin to appreciate God for the victory ahead, that is the moment the devil begins to lose the battle.
Dear, appreciate Him even when the answers are yet to come and picture in your heart, the answers to your prayers. Imagine your wife walking into your house with her two legs, unharmed.” The man said as he walked away.
“Jesuuuus!!! Thank you for the revelation.” Mr. Akinpelu shouted immediately he woke up.
He was still jubilating for the victory ahead when his daughter, Adura screamed of hunger.
He went straight to the kitchen to fix something for the girls.
As they were devouring the dinner made, there was a soft knock at the door.
At the spur of the moment, Adura’s father went to open the door.
Guess who he saw.
His wife????
“Oh no!!!”
He saw one of Mrs. Akunpelu’s enemies who suddenly became a friend because of Adura’s condition.
The woman wore a revealing dress. Her nip.ples were desperately crying for a taste by him. No doubt, the way she looked so sexy was enough to make a man fall in seconds for her.
“What are you doing here?” Mr. Akinpelu shouted when the friendly enemy kept on rolling her eyes seductively thinking he would fall.
“Forget about that stu.pid woman you call wife. She should be ma.d by now or dead.” She laughed devilishly while trying to force her hands on his head, romantically.
Before he could say “jack!” the woman was all over him. She forced herself to hug him.
Mr. Akinpelu taught he was dreaming.
She was going too far. Mr. Akinpelu was enjoying the moment.
As if his eyes were opend all of a sudden. He tried stopping her. Yet, she continued.
Her hands were touching the wrong place when he decided to give her a dirty slap. The slap that made her to loose her grip immediately from him while she still felt the pains emanating from her cheek.
The moment she realized that the charm wasn’t working, she began to confess.
“I thought my herbalist gave your wife a charm to place on your door? How come you are normal? The charm was made so that I can lure you to bed, enter a demonic covenant with you that you will never be free from forever and be mine till eternity.
The charm was made to make your wife insane while I turn you into my dumb and good for nothing husband as long as you satisfy me well on bed.
I have been madly in love with you for years, but your eyes were blind to the extent that you couldn’t read the lines of love on my eyeballs.
You were so blind. I hated the fact that you married that useless woman you call a wife. I don’t know what you saw in her that made you to settle for her. Am I not better than her? Assuming you ended up with me, you wouldn’t have been a father to a lame child.” She said.
Few minutes later , she became insane. She tore her clothes and began to run down the street shouting “give me my husband!!”
Just like a film!!!!
Mr. Akinpelu couldn’t believe his eyes for the victory won. He rolled on the floor, deeply in tears, appreciating God from the bottom of his heart.
He strongly believed that the God who gave him the victory over the plot of the wicked would definitely bring his wife back.
******
Very early the following morning, someone knocked at the door.
At first, Mr. Akinpelu was reluctant to open the door because it was too early. The knock persisted. He dragged his lazy body from the bed and headed to the door.
As soon as he opened the door, he shouted for joy.
“My wife!!!!!!”
Adura and Sade wondered what was happening at the sitting room.
Meanwhile, as Mr. Akinpelu was shouting for joy, his wife was on her knees shedding tears to the extent that her eyes were swollen.
She thought her husband was angry at her. She wasn’t sure of what to expect from the man who loved her dearly and had been made to pass through hell because of her negligence and impatience.
The moment her husband lifted her up and gave her the sweetest hug ever, her tears melted up paving way for the beautiful smiles that escaped from her mouth.
“Thank God for the victory.” Her husband said as he led her into the room.
The moment the children saw her, they shouted for joy.
Immediately, Adura began to report her dad to her mum for not taking good care of her.
“Talkative!!! Let mummy rest small before you start your gist.” Mr. Akinpelu said tickling Adura who was laughing as if she won a visa lottery to Canada.
*****
There are friends.
There are enemies.
There are friendly foes.
May God deliver us from every friendly foe in Jesus name. Amen.
To be continued.
