Sister, I will love Blossom to come over to your place for the holiday since their school is on vacation. Ken told her sister over the phone
Okay, then since I’m coming over to your house tomorrow let’s talk about it. Ken’s sister Nonye replied.
See you tomorrow then. Ken said.
Nonye visited Ken the next day she promised him she will come. Ken who is worried about Blossom seeing him and Susan quarrel every day is so excited to see his Sister Nonye because he wants Blossom to join her as she’s going back to her place. Ken took out time and narrated everything to her sister and how he lost his job.
Ken! Kennedy! Hey!! You mean all these things are happening you didn’t bother to confide in your only sister? Nonye asked
Sister, what do I do? I never wanted to bother no one because I know is not easy anywhere. My friends who I thought would have helped me only blamed me and promised they will help but they all disappeared. I was spending and hoping that everything will fall in place again until the devil came into my home. Ken said bitterly.
Hmmm! I’m still finding it hard to believe that Susan I know could do all these things you said. But if it is true then I concur with the saying that says money brings out one’s true color. That means all this while she seated on your wealth she also seated on her ugly character so no one could ever notice. But Ken, you failed it! How could you be hiding your dismissal from everybody even from your wife? You didn’t act like a wise Kennedy I know. At least if you had come open you would have something to fall back on all this fight between you and Susan will not be occurring. You also know there’s nowhere money is coming in again from yet you were still living large. Who does that?
That’s my biggest mistake and I’m still regretting it, sister.
Well, I just pray my coming will yield a beautiful seed so I can talk some senses into Susan. Said Nonye.
They were still discussing Susan walked in on them. She was about to walk past them where they were seated in the parlor and Ken stopped her.
Susan, didn’t you see my sister here? Ken asked her.
Welcome my wife. I would I’ve gone earlier but I said since I’m here already let me wait for you and have a word with you. Nonye said.
Go to your house. Susan briefly told her and walked away without minding it was her sister-in-law she last saw long ago.
Ken angrily stood up to drag her back or probably beat her up but Nonye held him back.
Sister I guess you have seen it by yourself let it not be as if am lying again her. I never knew she will be this rude to you too I thought she would have listened to you since it had been a while since she last saw you. I’m sorry sister.
It’s okay Papa, I think something is wrong somewhere. I strongly believe that this is not ordinary. I will advise you to be prayerful. I will back you up. Let’s follow it spiritually and God will reveal something. Get Blossom ready let’s go there’s no time again. Nonye said.
Sister, I was thinking you will sleep over. I’ve not packed her clothes. Ken said.
Biko bring her out. How much are some clothes that I can not afford to buy new ones for her? Said Nonye.
Blossom prepared and followed her. Ken who is still angry went to the visitor’s room to confront Susan.
Susa, what was the meaning of that nonsense you displayed before my sister?
Susan did not respond to him.
Susan, I’m asking you. Ken repeated himself but Susan didn’t utter a word to him. She was busy doing what she was doing.
This can’t continue in this house. Since you have chosen a part to follow I will show you I’m still the man of this house. You can’t be in my house and insult me and still insult my sister. Ken angrily said and left.
The following morning, Susan has gone to work Ken needed some money to buy things for himself. He went to the room and searched if Susan has money in the room but he couldn’t find see any. He went to the visitor’s room as he was searching he stumbled on Susan’s drugs along with her test result. He didn’t understand the whole thing. He quickly took a picture of them with his phone and kept them back as he saw them. He called his sister on the phone and briefed her and requested fifty thousand from her which his sister sent. He headed to the hospital to show them to his doctor’s friend Paul.
