Once in Love episode 4

Once in Love

Episode Four

Soon, Mrs. William finished getting herself and her daughter dressed. They stepped out to meet her father.

As they reached the compound, Annabel hurried to see her grandfather first. She even ran and fell. “Easy,” Mrs. William screamed.

Isabel got up and ran inside the house. She found Isabel hugging her grandfather, who was reading the newspaper.

“Let my father be before you strāngle him for me.

You have a father,” she teased her daughter, who laughed uncontrollably.

“Good evening, Daddy. I hope you are not ready to meet your ancestors since mom called me to come, where is she?” she asked, touching her father’s shoulder.

“Welcome, my daughter. Your mother went to the market to buy things for the evening meal.

Please wait so we can have dinner together, there’s something we need to tell you,”he replied.

Mrs. William was already tense, but knowing her father was fine, she took a deep breath. However, she couldn’t contain her curiosity any longer.

She wanted to hear what her parent had to tell her.

“Dad, please tell me what I need to hear first so I can calm down and eat.

Mom said on the phone that she had something to tell me and you are saying same too, please just tell me before she comes back, you both are scāring me” she pleaded.

Her dad smiled. It was obvious that Mrs. William had always been impatient, even since she was a little girl.

“It’s about a bad dream your mother had,” he said, causing her heart to skip a bėat.

She couldn’t wait to hear more. “The devil will not succeed in your home. God will protect your family.

Just try your best to make it work,” her father advised. Mrs. William stood there, confused.

“I still don’t understand, Daddy. What are you talking about?” she asked. Her father cleared his throat and said, “Your mother had a bad dream about your marriage falling apart.

You really need to pray about it. She said in the dream she saw your husband throwing you out of the house.

“Mrs. William pauses for a while and says, “Isabel had the same dream, Dad.

Now I’m scared,” as she shivers. “Calm down, my dear daughter. No evil shall come near you. You will enjoy your marriage. You will enjoy your marriage.”

Mrs. William remains calm lost in thought as she sits and waits for her mother to come back.

Her mother returns soon and they both join in the kitchen to make dinner. They leave Isabel with their grandfather, who engages her in several conversations about school and her friends.

Eventually, he gets tired and picks up his newspaper to continue reading, while Isabel continues talking and he responds intermittently.

“Mom, I don’t know what to do. First, Isabel had a dream about my marriage crāshing, and now Dad told me the same thing about the dream you had.

I’m scared,” Mrs. William complains to her mother as they cook.

“All those are just dreams. You should believe in your God, and nothing bad will happen to you,” her mother assures her, wiping her tears.

‘Don’t worry about anything. By the way, where is your husband?” she asks.

“He went on a business trip and will be back in a month’s time, I told you before now, old age is really dėaling with you”.

Mrs. William responds with a smile.

“It’s okay, continue teaming me you will soon be like me, her mother says, holding her hands.

‘Everything will be fine. Just keep praying for him to be safe wherever he is. “Mrs. William nods as her mother speaks and wipes her tears.

Soon, dinner is ready and served. They all eat and pray, and then Mrs. Williams goes home.

On the way, Isabel keeps jumping around, and her mother tries to calm her down, calling her name countless times on the road.

“Isabel, stop! Come here!” Mrs William screams as Isabel keeps running.

Suddenly, Isabel bumps into someone. “Watch where you’re going little girl” the voice says as she almost falls.

Mrs Williams holds her by the hand, as she frowns. “Mom, that person is so rūde. I don’t like her one bit, Isabel says.

And her mother swings her hands “you don’t say that to people you don’t know after all you bōmbed into her first, let’s just go home I’m tired. She says.

Unknown to her what was coming.
