Charles has completely changed from the sweetest husband he used to be since after ten years he got married and that is causing Chioma his wife sleepless nights.

Chioma, for the past two weeks now you have been asking the same question and I keep telling you I’m fine what else are you glancing to hear from my mouth? I told you I’m fine and I’m fine just let me be, woman. That’s Charles responding to Chioma with so much bitterness.
Babe, I won’t leave you alone. I’m your wife. What I’m doing right now is what any woman in my shoe will do when her husband’s love is slipping away. All of a sudden you don’t eat my food, I will cook and eat alone with the children. You don’t talk to me anymore. You will come back from work and be on the phone for four to five hours with God knows who.

That statement from Charles that he is getting a second wife blew like a bazooka to Chioma’s hearing.
What did you just say, Charles? You are getting a second what? A second wife in this house… That is not going to happen. So, it has been another woman who is behind all this.
I should have known this
I should have read the handwriting on the wall but No! I was busy thinking I got married to the best man in the world. But you know what Charles? Over my dead body will another woman come to this house and take my place. Make no such blunder or you will see the worse part of me you have not seen before.
Chioma headed to the door to leave the room. Stop right there Chioma. Charles commands. Chioma, listen to me, I am an African man. A Nigerian man for that matter. I’m entitled to marry as many wives as I want. After all, I came from a polygamous family. My grandfather had four wives and my father Egbuefi married three wives. it will not get to my own and becomes an abomination. I’m getting a second wife and that is final.

If I were you I wouldn’t have mentioned my grandfather and father’s name who married more than one wife because you and I know their stories. If I were you I would have learned from their lessons.

It says two cannot work together unless they agree. Charles go and bring In another wife into this house!
