“It’s okay, cry as much as you want, let it out” he said as he hugged me. When i was done crying, i left his embrace.
“Thank you” i said as i cleaned my tears.
“You are welcome, is your dad in? He asked.
“No, he isn’t, he left us” i said sadly.
“Don’t tell me ,he is dead” he exclaimed.
“No, he isn’t dead, i wish he was dead, could you believe he left us when he was healed to marry a strange woman, after all the things we have done for him” i said sadly.
“Wow, that’s crazy, what about you mom, hope she is fine? He asked.
“Yes, she is good” i replied.
“Is she in? Can i see her? He asked.
“I don’t know maybe, she is in,let’s check ” i said as we walked towards my house. When we got to our house, it wasn’t locked, then i knocked the door.
” oh, my beautiful is..” my mom paused, when she opened the door and saw Michael.
“Good evening ma’am, how have you been? He asked. My mom was shocked.
“I am, am good” my mom said as she ushered him in. My mom offered to serve him juice, but he refused.
“Oh, Micheal, please am sorry, i know i insulted you and embarrassed you then, i am so sorry” my mom said as she pleaded.
“No ma, i am no more angry at you,hannah has told me everything ” he said. Then Micheal and my mom started talking, they talked about a lot of things, they even forgot about me, when they were done talking, Micheal was ready to go home.
“I will come visit you another time” he said as he prepared to leave, i escorted him out. When i came back , i noticed my mom eyes and her sly smile, i pretended as if i didn’t see her.
” hmnnn, hmnnn, hmnnn” that was the sound she was making.
“Mom , what is it? Talk if you want to talk, you better say your mind” i said when i got tired of her sounds.
“What happened between the both of you? Have you guys reconciled ” my mom asked.
“Reconciled🙄, no we have not reconciled we are just friends, don’t tell me that you have forgotten that he has a fiancee, where will he put her? i asked.
” okay, if you say so” my mom said. Few days later , things were fine between i and Micheal, he always drop me home, sometimes he will even eat in our house, everything was fine, i know he still loves me and i also love him too, but he is pretending as if he isn’t, as if we are just friends. But one afternoon something happened, i went to Micheal’s office to give him some documents, when i got there, i gave him the documents and we started talking about random things,he held my hands, suddenly the door was opened, then someone entered, it was micheal fiancee, she walked towards me and slapped me. I was shocked, it was so painful that my brain couldn’t process what i wanted to say.
” you, sl*t , why are you seducing my fiancee, why? She shouted.
” stop it sandra, stop being foolish, it’s not what you think” Micheal said as he held her.
” you must think am a fool right? She said as she threw some photos on me,i and Micheal were hugging in the photos, the last time we hugged was when he consoled me.
“You are even her uber driver, to take to anywhere she wants to go” she said as she laughed.
“I knew there was something odd about her the first day i met, you were behaving strangely that day, she is your ex, isn’t she? She asked as she looked at the both of us……………
