Precious was going home to get his father’s stuff when Joseph Called her name.
He would soon be transferred in the private room, he just woke up a couple of hours ago and she is very happy.
She let out a deep sigh and acted as if she didn’t hear anything, she doesn’t know what this man want from her.
Don’t you dare touch me or else i will shout and told people that you wanted to r*pe me. She said before the man could even touch her.
I just wanted to talk to you, is there anything wrong with that?.
Precious just walk slowly straight to where she could get a cab.
Precious but this time around is a different voice, she didn’t know if she should turn around or not, she walk and felt a hand that held her.
“What ar–” she stop in the middle of her sentence when she saw who was on her side is David and not Joseph.
What us wrong? Why are you looking at me in that way, he said full of confusion.
She looked far away and saw Joseph staring at her, so what are you doing here? She asked.
I just decided to go with you, i spoke with your mom about it, so let’s go and get your dad’s stuff, since i have car it will make it more faster, he hold her hand and they started walking towards his car.
She was worried because Joseph was just in distance and he might be looking at them and i never know what he might be thinking in his mind.
It didn’t take long and they finally arrived at their house.
Precious by the way grandma birthday would be soon, he said while he sat down on the couch.
Okay do you want me to come with you? She said, though she is not in the mood to go for any party, but because of grandma she would like to attend.
You have been staring at me, tell me what do you have to say to me? Is there anything that is bothering you?.
“I’m sorry precious my grandma wanted me to propose to you during her birthday party” he said to her which made her almost fell on the ground.
David we already talked about This, she said in a low and sad voice, she knew that she couldn’t say yes like the first time, because she was afriad that she might betrayed thier rules. David
I’m sorry but i cannot do it.
David just looked straight like he was looking for something in the living room, .
Iam sorry i know that you have done a lot for me and my family, she said as she bowed her head down, Iam really sorry David.
“No precious you d on’t really need to say you are sorry, it’s fine, i know that this isn’t part of our agreement. But can we just pretend again, he said while looking at her eyes.
He was begging anbd she couldn’t help but feel like she wanted to say yes to him again.
I’m not asking you this because of what i have done to your family, but the truth is that I’m doing this for grandma, you know she is so fond of you and she wanted me to marry you.
You may not believe it, but that’s the real truth.
She didn’t know what she would be thinking again, she didn’t know if he is doing this because of his money or inheritance, but she truly want to say yes to him.
Please David can you give me some time to think about it, I’m sorry if i can’t give you answer now, I’m just worried how mom and dad would take it, because you know my family is going through something and this marriage proposal would look somehow to us, she said in all honesty.
So David can you tell my mom about this proposal? Let’s see how she would react if you told her? Like you would tell her that you wanted to do it as a surprise for me? She said.
Okay i will try to talk to her about it, I will tell her that i want to use it as a surprise to my grandma.
Then we would look out on how to break after that, precious said.
Yeah the man said, though he is not happy to hear that.
If mom said she is okay with that, then we can proceed with the proposal.
Thank you precious i know that this will be hard for you, especially now that Joseph is around, he wanted you back, he said which make her eyebrows knitted together, what did he means by Joseph is around?
She shook her head.
No it’s not what you think David, as far as i know everything between us is already ended, because he is the one that left me. She said
David just shrugged his shoulder and both of her eyebrows were raised, it was as if he doesn’t believe her.
Okay if you say so go and get your dad’s stuff because your mom might be waiting for you.
Okay I’m sorry let me get it.
Precious and David came back to the hospital after they have talked and took her dad stuff.
They were already on their way to , private room when out of nowhere Joseph showed up in front of them.
Precious sense that something bad might happen, the way Joseph is looking at David.
Because of how Joseph was staring at David she hated him more, why couldn’t he just disappear just the way he left her since, she is already happy and she can’t go back to him.
Precious i want to talk to you, Joseph said.
Please Joseph stop, this is enough, I told you i don’t want to talk to you, because there is nothing we would be talking about, she said in an irritated voice, she hold David’s hand.
“Let’s go don’t mind him, don’t look back, she said and quickly walked, going inside the lift which just opened.
But before she could enter, Joseph hold her back.
Precious is this the man that your are proud of and the reason that you don’t want to talk to me? The anger in Joseph’s voice couldn’t be hidden.
Precious go upstairs, let me deal with this man, David said and stared at Joseph.
No David let’s go, she is already pissed off, he isn’t worth your time.
Is he the reason why you looked trouble the past couple of days?, Is he still pestering you after he Left you.
Precious couldn’t describe what she is feeling right now, what if they started fighting each other in front of her.
David can we just go upstairs now, she said in a calm voice, I’m sure mom will be waiting for us.
David look at her and hold her hand they went inside the lift.
Joseph was just standing there staring at them, his eyes were like a fire ready to b*rn david
I cannot believe your ex boyfriend is still bothering you, David said as they enter the lift.
Well probably he was already dumped and he wanted to pick the trash that he has already thrown out, she said and smiled sarcastically.
I can’t believe he would show him face again, or maybe he is thinking I will be waitingfor him to come back.
You are not a trash if you are referring to your self, he said while looking at her, you are a priceless treasure that he doesn’t know how to take care of.
David always find a way to make me feel better, unlike Joseph, she said to her self.
They acted like a real couple, even though they are not
Thank you so much but don’t deal with Joseph, he stopped her from saying anything.
I know that you will say you will handle him, but i can see that you were already affected by him, i promise your mother that I will always protect you, and I’m going to deal with him, so that he won’t disturb you again.
