“Yohhh Florence now I have time to really asked this “. I said after being at peace that my mother surgery had gone well and she’s sleeping.

“I was expecting you to ask then likewise but I know you might not because of the situation at that moment.” She said over the phone.

“Abeg where you see money? or you have been doing one….”

“You’re not serious hahaha just guess where I got the money from?.” She asked interrupting me.

“How do I know when I’m asking to know.” I answered.

“I got it from Gabriel father.” She said.

“Gabriel what? why? why will you do that Florence?.” I asked surprisingly because I wasn’t expecting that at all.

“Where do you think I will get such amount of money? or how much is my salary that will make me have up to that amount.” She answered laughing.

It really came as a shocked to me because I never expected it from Gabriel father, She said I should just start the work at Gabriel house instead in other show my gratitude and moreover to earn even more than that as salary.

“So, you mean this one you sent to me is free without refundable.”

“Yes na, you can just call him to appreciate and that’s all you know I told you I can go any length to help me because I know how you have once helped me severally. All I just want is for you to finally marry Gabriel so that you can be elevated from not having money or supporter “. She said as I felt like seeing her physically and hug her.

I was called to see my previous boss who is Gabriel father before I start going to Gabriel house for the cleaning. I was told is 3 times in a week which is Monday to Wednesday or any other day I wish to do it but it must be 3 times.

“Ehn, it depends on how you finished your work.” He said. But, you must not sleep over.

“Sure, I won’t sir.” I answered smiling looking at Florence beside me.

“I’m so sure that she’s gonna help him out.” Florence said in assurance.

“Yes, I attest to that in as much she could buoyantly face him so, I believe you.” He said bringing out a check and handling it to me. Take this for a start.” He said.

“Huh! sir.” I asked in disbelief looking at Florence stretching my hands to collect it.

“Collect it na!.” Florence said smiling at me.

“Ha! Jesus, just for me to let him fall in love with me and to help out in dealing with his phobia.” I said in my mind happily not knowing if I should jump on him or not.

I collected it and grinned in excitement seeing a whoop of 2millon naira check again. I postrated and kneeled down at a time thanking him and raining blessings on him. I hugged Florence do closed that she had to whispered my ears to take it easy and not to overact at his front.

“Florence, thank you so much!!!.” I said joyfully holding her from the back.

As we walked down to her car we both chatted joyfully and she told me to abstain from Anita and Vero when I told her what transpired.

“I won’t even go again but I’m just scared if she won’t come after me if she noticed I don’t want to associate with her again.

“Don’t worry about that, first and foremost make sure you relocate from that your house to where you can’t be traced at anytime.” She said.

“Okay,.” I answered.

“But, as for Gabriel going to her house is what I can’t tell because I don’t know why he went there but I’m very sure it might be because of Vero.” She said trying to figure it out. My own be say make God just perfect everything make you and Gabriel and relocate abroad.

“What if Vero found out about Gabriel and I won’t she feel betrayed or something?.” I asked as she drives into a fueling station.

I think through what she just said, imagining if Anita could have kept the kind of person Vero is from me then what can she not do.

I went back to the hospital to see my mom and told her I have gotten a good job for 3 days, She looks so happy thanking God for my sake on the bed.

I watched her happy mood even though I knew I lied to her about the money I paid because she might look worried or perhaps decided to know the outcome of the money.

“I have heard you mom, but I just want you to be fine on time because I have a surprise for you.” I said as she started singing, shaking her head along.

I stood at the front of Gabriel house and knock severally before he answered. I knew his father would have told him a cleaner will be coming over but he wouldn’t know that I’m the one. He opened the door and stared at me in shocked closing it back immediately, I saw him putting on only boxer with a white singlet and looking so hot.

“Cha!! see person pikin (child) na!!.” I said in my mind salivating.

He came outside again after knocking on the door severally without responding.

“What are you doing here?.” He asked with his eyes wide open.

I didn’t answer as I pushed him inside and entered.

“I think I just asked you question just now!!.” He asked vibrating.

“You better calm down and don’t give yourself hypertension.” I answered throwing my handbag on the chair and bounce on the chair to sit.

“Are you cr@zy!!!.” He asked using his throw pillow to push my bag to the floor.

I ignored him and brought out a chocolate drink I bought for a purpose and started drinking and purposely letting it pour on the floor intentionally.

“Dad! dad!!!!! I don’t want a cleaner again!!.” He screamed doing like a baby kiss way and said he will call his father and ask why he didn’t tell him that I’m the cleaner he is bringing.

“Na you Sabi, if you like call him there’s nothing you can do, shey you see this house ehn na me go dey clean am for you if is dirty.” I shouted from the sitting to his hearing.

“You better clean that nonsense you poured on the floor.” He roar in anger.

“I will clean it when I’m through, you have not seen anything at all.” I answered and laughed.
