Episode 7

Linda continued seeing Kelly. That hotel had been their regular meeting place.
Ever since Jenny visited Linda’s place, she’s been looking for a way to visit again without informing Linda.
So one day, on a weekday, Jenny prepared and left for Linda’s place. She had already made up her mind on what to do.
When she got to the place, fortunately for her, John was at home.
He was surprised to see her. He welcomed her and offered her a seat.
“Jenny, right?”
“Yes sir.”
“Your friend is usually not at home on weekdays.”
“I know, how is the project going” Jenny said smiling.
“Fine, we are doing our best. So what brought you?” John said looking inquisitive.
“I know my friend is always busy and doesn’t have time to help you out with so many things. I want to be of help and as well keep you company.”
“That’s so nice of you. We don’t have a helper here but we can cope. I do some chores myself because that’s how we planned it to be.”
“I just want to help out.”
“Okay if you insist but I don’t think there’s work to do today.”
“Even if there’s no work, I can keep you company. I am a friend of this family.”
“Okay.”
He offered her some snacks and a soft drink. He didn’t have much to do that day, so he sat on a couch opposite her.
“Thank you sir, you are such a nice man.”
John smiled.
“So tell me about yourself,” he said to her.
Jenny gladly gave him a detailed introduction of herself. Afterwards, they started discussing other things about themselves.
A few minutes later, John’s phone rang.
He picked up the call and told the caller that he would be coming immediately.
Then the caller ended the call.
“Jenny, I have a meeting to catch up with. I will be leaving soon.”
“Okay.”
By then Jenny had finished the snacks and drink.
John went into his bedroom and changed into a better outfit and carried his briefcase.
He then came out to leave.
“Jenny, I’m sorry you need to go now.”
“No problem, which area are you going to.”
John then told him where he was going.
“Ok, I’ll join you. You can drop me off at Owo junction, I can trek to my house from there.”
“Ok.”
Both of them stood up and went outside. They entered the car and drove off.
As soon as they got to Owo junction, John stopped the car and Jenny got down.
“Thank you so much sir, this is my number. Call me whenever you need me,” Jenny said as he handed him a piece of paper containing her phone number.
John collected it from her.
“See you next time, sir,” Jenny said and left.
“Alright,” he said and drove off.
Jenny was happy that she was establishing a relationship with Linda’s husband.
“This man seems to be an easygoing person, in just a little time, he will be mine,” she grinned as she left.
Later that day, Linda dismissed from work earlier and left the office.
When she got to Kelly’s place, she parked her car in front of his gate and called him to come out.
In no time, he came out and was speaking to her through the car window. Linda requested to enter inside but he refused.
“Baby I don’t want anyone to suspect us. That’s why I always prefer we meet elsewhere.”
“But my husband already knows you.”
“Yes, but people can start suspecting us when you go inside with me. Let’s stay here.”
He then entered his car and they discussed for a little time.
Meanwhile, a girl was inside Kelly’s house. She was watching them through the window blind.
When they were done talking in the car, they looked around and felt no one was watching and k!ssed passionately.
Kelly then got out of the car and went into his compound while Linda drove home.
Kelly opened his door to enter his apartment and found his girlfriend standing and looking furious.
“Babe, what is it?”
“What’s that I saw you guys doing?”
“We had an agreement, didn’t we?”
“Which agreement, this is getting out of hand? I think you are beginning to fall for her.”
“I think you are jealous,” Kelly said and started laughing.
“I’m serious, this has to stop.”
“But I’ve not gotten what I want from her and you know that.”
“Look for another way to achieve that because I don’t like what you are doing with her. You know me, I’ll spoil show for you if you don’t stop this.”
“How else will I get the money from her if not that way.”
“There are many ways to do that.”
She then sat him down and started telling him ways to extort more money from Linda.
