A couple of days later, Linda woke up early to remind her husband about the meeting with the DTY group scheduled for that day.
“Thanks my darling wife, I haven’t forgotten, besides, the meeting is at 10 am,” Linda’s husband said looking happy.
“Ok.”
Linda got down from bed and started preparing for work.
A few minutes later, she was done and about to leave.
“Honey, please try and come early today.”
“I’ll be there before 10 am.”
“Alright, see you soon.”
Linda said and left the house.
Later on, just a few minutes before the meeting time, Linda’s husband came alongside some representatives of the DTY group.
The representatives from the DTY group were taken to a mini hall that would be used for the meeting. The hall had a large table in the middle and some seats arranged around it. They all sat and waited for their hosts.
John and Linda with a few of their workers representing JK Deco later joined them.
The meeting commenced immediately they all settled down.
The DTY group presented the contract once again which was to supply and install the choicest interior design in all the state governors’ offices nationwide.
JK Deco stated their conditions as well as the funds involved, which was two hundred and fifty million naira.
The group asked a few questions for clarity.
Later on, both parties showed mutual understanding and acceptance of the terms involved in the contract.
The contract was then awarded.
The date for the commencement of the project was fixed and the payment plan was stated.
The group agreed to pay thirty per cent of the money for a start, another thirty per cent as the project progresses and complete the payment when the project is done.
Later on, the meeting ended and the representatives of the DTY group left.
John and his team were visibly excited about the outcome of the meeting. They celebrated their win.
After the celebration, John left the office.
Linda was extremely excited about the project, she took it personally. She felt she had finally hit the jackpot.
She brought out her phone from her bag and called Kelly’s number. They greeted.
“Kelly, are you free now? I want us to see.”
“Anything for you dear, where are you?” Kenny gently said over the phone.
“Come to my office at JK Deco just close to Robinson bus top.”
“Expect me soon.”
“Alright.”
A few minutes later, the secretary came to inform Linda that someone had come to see her. She told the secretary to let the person in.
Kelly opened the door and entered.
They were both excited to see each other.
“Please have a seat.”
Kelly sat down.
“I’m sorry for bothering you, Kelly.”
“No problem, You called exactly when I was less busy as if you knew my schedule.”
Linda smiled and was just passionately gazing at him without saying a word.
Kenny then spoke
“You said you wanted to see me.”
“Yes, I just want us to talk.”
“Ok, talk about what?”
“About us, I know you have feelings for me. I know I avoided you then but it wasn’t intentional.”
“But you are married now.”
“Don’t bother yourself about that. I love you so much.”
“I have always loved you but I distanced myself from you because you are married. I don’t want your husband to arrest me,” he said smiling.
“Do not worry yourself about anybody, I’m in charge.”
Kenny stood from where he sat, moved towards her and sat on the table.
“I’m always available whenever you need me, I’m all yours,” Kenny said in a low tone.
This melted Linda’s heart. She couldn’t control her emotions, she stood up and hugged him passionately. Then Kenny gently brushed his lips on hers.
Linda quickly pulled herself off him. She was scared of being seen.
“Kenny, I think you can go now. I’ll call you later.”
“Alright, dear. I love you.”
Linda smiled without saying a word.
Kenny then left.
“O my God, this guy is so hรถt. I wish he was the one I married, I will do anything in my power to have him all by myself,” she said to herself as she passionately bit her lips.
