CHAPTER- NINE CHALLENGES OF A TEENAGE GIRL
Melona had gotten herself too far with men. She wasn’t interested in getting anything serious with them. She had also tested money and she wasn’t ready to let it go just like that. She got involved with more men controlling and taking their cash. It’s been three years after Mélo transformed into a slay queen. She’s been living a recklessly life until she met Larry, Alex’s friend.
Mélo left her Car at the entrance of the hotel she had logged in one morning with a certain man. They were done with what they came to do and the man already left. She rushed in to quickly get her bag that she had forgotten and on coming out she bomb into Larry who couldn’t even recognize her
“Excuse me Ma’am am sorry I wasn’t looking”😧Larry said in a calmed and suiting voice
“Larry?”😳
“Yes that’s my name” 🙄😒
“How do you know my name” 🤔☺️he said smiling and looking at Melona
“Have we met someone before?”🤔
“Wow this world is small ohh “ 🙄Melona said and rushed to embrace him who accepted with mixed feelings.
“Oh common don’t pretend like you can’t recognize me”. 😏
“Was I that bad that a little make up and Fancy dress makes you to forget my face ?” Melona asked looking disappointed
“It’s me!! Melona!!”😧
“Melona! wow !! Are you..?”😲😲
“You look so… diffe… I mean you look even more beautiful than before” .😮
“Pardon my attitude earlier I thought it was one of this girls pretending to know everyone that looks sophisticated. Mélo you look so different.”🤭🤭
“Wow! What happened to you? you look like a sophisticated model. I can’t believe This”🤗😏
“You too Larry you’ve grown even more handsome and wealthier too” ☺️
“Yeah! where you going to rushing like that I?,
Why don’t we seat somewhere and talk. I’d really love that we seat down and talk it’s Been so long and we have a lot of catching up to do”😏☺️😁
“Oh am so sorry maybe next time I was actually running late for a program I came to attend here.”🥰
“So actually forgot something in the Room while checking out.”😊
“You’re already checking out?”🤔😒

“Actually I am based in the other town not here I only came here for the program”😮

“Well I just came back two days ago from the US my mum had filled my papers and I had to go meet her. Came home to settle some issues with land” 😏☺️
“Ooh ok I see ! Well it’s feels good seeing you again.”☺️🤗 She said as she sets to kick off when he storms towards her car asking for her number.
“Please can I have your number?”😏
“Maybe we could meet in the evening and talk?”☺️
“Ok will give you my number so we can chat but am not so sure about this evening. I will be leaving for Bamenda today evening.”😑
“Ok then we chat” 😌

She steamed her Car and drove away as Larry stood staring as she drove off. Melona later had to postpone her journey that even due to a little disappointment. When Larry texted her that evening she told him she was available and that she’s still around in the same hotel. They later agreed to meet at the bar to talk.
They spent about 2 hours talking about Their past lives and achievements blushing and smiling with each other.
Of Couse Melona said so many lies so as to cover up her present life situation little did she know that Larry already knew everything he had to play along just to make her feel comfortable. He was the only one who had witnessed what Melina had gone through and so he made sure not to be too judgmental when he will confront her.
Larry had friends in the University millieu who told him every latest gist and Melona happened to have been the latest gist. They had accepted that evening they were going leave for Bamenda in the morning with Melona car since her driver had issues and Larry needed a Ride they parked up that morning and took off . They had a long day coming and a lot of things to talk about.Especially Larry who wanted so much to talk to Melona about her current Life style.
