(STUCK IN BETWEEN)
Gabriel was laying down on the hotel’s bed when he heard a knock at the door. He stood up, walked to the door and pulled it open only to find Susan standing before him. Seeing her, he couldn’t help but give her a smile of satisfaction.
“I know you would come.” Gabriel said smiling while licking his mouth in a seductive and lustful way.
“Out of my way please.” Susan said pushing her way into the room. She dropped her bag on the table that was beside the hotel’s bed. Then she sat down on the edge of the bed with her arms folded.
“Hey…..are you still mad at me?.” Gabriel asked shutting the door. He slowly walked to her and knelt before her. Susan angrily rolled her eyes at him, hissed and looked away facing the wall.
“I don’t actually know where to start from. But the truth is, I tried everything possible to get you out of my mind babe. I hanged around with so many girls but none of them gave me the joy, peace and love you’ve given me. Honestly, I’ve missed your touch, your warmth, your kiss, your body, your love and everything. I miss having you in my arms baby girl. I wish and hope that you can give me another chance to amend my ways.” Gabriel pleaded.
“It’s been 6 months Gabriel. For 6 good months you’ve been living your life like nothing happened. Like I didn’t mean anything to you. Like what we shared wasn’t enough. Gabriel you went ahead posting pictures of you and different girls. You hurt me so bad and I honestly do not think you deserve a second chance from me. I’ve also moved on. I just came to tell you that.” Susan said trying to get up from the bed. But Gabriel held her thighs pulling her back to the bed. Surprisingly and unexpectedly, he broke into tears. Sobbing bitterly.
“Please Susan. I’ve changed for good now. I’m no longer the Gabriel you once knew. I’ve improved in lot of ways. All I ask is that you give me a chance to prove myself to you. I need to show you how much I’ve changed in this recent time. Please Susan I beg you. Other girls may come along, but the fact remains that you are all I have ever wanted. This vacuum in my heart can never be occupied or filled by someone else other than you Susan. I love you and that’s it.” Gabriel sobbed.
His tears weakened Susan so much that she felt bad for making Gabriel cry before her for the first time.
“Seeing him cry means he must have missed me a lot. Maybe he has changed for good this time.” She said in her heart.
She slowly freed her arms and used her right palm to wipe Gabriel’s tears from his eyes. Just then, Gabriel embraced her firmly with his head balanced on her b***s. His warmth reminded Susan of their past romantic moments. As if Gabriel knew what was going through her mind, he slowly kissed her neck with his left hand finding its way in between her legs. Slowly and gently, he kept arousing her till she started m*****g into his ears.
Just then, Stanley’s call came in. Susan was no longer herself to notice that her phone was ringing. Stanley called again. But this time, Gabriel used his other hand, to put her phone on silent. Then he continued from where he stopped.
He left her neck and went for her lips kissing her passionately like a professional of bed affairs that he was. He gently squeezed her b***s and gradually he started feeling every bit of her sensual parts.
Susan who could not take it anymore, quickly undressed him and he did the same. Spreading her legs, Gabriel gave her the latest version of his newly acquired bed skills. Susan found herself m*****g helplessly at every thrust Gabriel gave her. It was like she was being served a favorite meal which she had been longing to eat for months.
They went for different rounds till they were both exhausted. After which, they both dozed off helplessly like babies who had had enough intake of b****t milk.
Susan woke up by 4 am and reached for her phone only to see 15 missed calls from Stanley who had been calling and waiting for her arrival the previous night. And 5 missed calls from her roommate Lilian. Susan couldn’t help but feel bad at that moment. She quietly picked her dress and underwears from different corners of the hotel room where Gabriel had flung them the previous night.
She slowly tip toed her way into the bathroom where she hurriedly took her shower. As soon as she stepped out of the bathroom, Gabriel who was awoken by the sound of the shower, yawned helplessly as he asked.
“Babe?. Where are you rushing off to?. This is just 4 am.” He said staring at the wall clock in his hotel room.
“I have an important appointment to catch this morning.” She said hurriedly putting on her dress.
“Alright. But babe, who was the guy that kept calling you nonstop last night?. Your phone has never been this busy.” He said sitting upright.
“I don’t think I owe you any explanations for now Gabriel. You have to prove yourself worthy of my trust first.” She said applying her makeup.
“Hmmmmm.” Gabriel took a deep sigh and laid back on the bed.
Susan arrived at Stanley’s house at exactly 5:30 am.
“Good morning Stanley.” She smiled waving at him as soon as he opened his door.
“Good morning Susan. What happened?. I tried reaching you last night but you neither picked nor returned my calls. I went as far as calling your roommate but she said something came up so you went to spend the night at your course mate’s place.” Stanley said.
“I’m truly sorry Stanley. The thing is, my course mate and best friend was going through some emotional breakage and she called saying she needed my presence. I couldn’t turn her down because she was always there for me when I needed her. Since I feared that she might consider committing suicide, I took it upon myself to go stay by her side.” Susan lied blatantly.
“That’s nice and thoughtful of you. Please come in.” Stanley said opening the door.
Susan walked into Stanley’s house for the first time and was impressed and amazed by the beautiful interior decorations before her.
“Wow. I must confess. Your house is beautiful.” She said sitting on his sofa.
“That’s why I need a beautiful lady like you to complement the beauty of my home.” Stanley said and they both burst into laughter.
After a long while, Stanley made an attempt to kiss Susan for the first time but she turned away and picked offence with his actions.
“I’m sorry. I just couldn’t hold it any longer. The more i get to know you, the more I find you attractive and my desire for you increases. I will be lying if I say I’m not finding it hard to control my emotions around you these days.” Stanley said.
“Really?. I said it Stanley. I knew it from the onset that this was what you’ve been after all along.” Susan said standing on her feet.
“Pardon?. How can you say a thing like that to me?. Susan you of all people should know how much i adore and cherish you. I’m not after your body and you know it. It’s just that these feelings are bound to happen eventually between a man and a woman who have gotten to know each other better. If I don’t feel this burning desire in me for you, then that means I don’t find you attractive and I’m not potent. I’m a full fleshed man with blood running through my veins for Christ sake.” Stanley said.
“I don’t trust you enough to let you have your way into me. Until I’m sure that you mean everything you’ve been saying so far.” Susan said.
Lilian was rearranging the room when Stanley dropped Susan off and she walked into the room feeling tired and exhausted.
“Good afternoon babe.” Susan greeted throwing herself on the bed.
“Susan. Where were you last night?.” Lilian asked folding her arms.
“Not now please. As you can see, I had a very long and tiring day. So let me get some sleep before you start nagging at me.” Susan said.
“Susan….you can fool everyone but not me. So you think I don’t know that you went to meet with Gabriel again?.” Lilian asked.
“And what’s wrong about that?.” Susan asked.
This question came as a shock to Lilian who could not believe her ears.
“Are you seriously asking me that?. Why are you this gullible, stupid and senseless?. You of all people should know Gabriel’s tactics better than anyone. For Christ sake Susan, you have a good man in your life now. You have Stanley who has good intentions and plans for you. Why did you go back to Gabriel?.” Lilian shouted.
“Yet the good man tried to kiss me and lure me to his bed?.” Susan asked.
“Why not?. Isn’t that what normal couples do these days?. Besides, you are not even a virgin to begin with. And how is it right for Gabriel to have s*x with you but wrong for Stanley to thesame?. Who are you trying to deceive?. You’ve practically starved this innocent man for months not because you don’t feel the urge to do it with him. But because deep inside of you, you feel it’s wrong. You feel like you will be cheating on your Gabriel if you do it with another man. For Christ sake girl, aren’t you tired of being tossed around and being used and dumped?.” Lilian lamented bitterly.
“Fine fine fine. Lilian I met with Gabriel in king’s hotel last night. Honestly, I went there to end everything with him. But then, one thing led to another. He caught me again in his web of unmatchable romance and sexual pleasure. I couldn’t even resist him. It was like he was liberating me from my sexual starvation. But when I woke up and saw Stanley’s missed calls, I felt bad and guilty. I couldn’t let him have his way because of a truth, I do not deserve him. Gabriel has damaged me so much that I don’t desire any other man the way I desire him. I’m ashamed of getting myself stuck in between my past and my present relationship. The most annoying part is that I don’t think I can come out of this.” Susan said.
“Really?. Okay. Tell me. Who amongst these guys do you love more?. Who would you like to spend the rest of your life with after school?. You have just one year to round up with your studies.” Lilian said.
“I don’t know Lilian. The truth Is, i suddenly became selfish after meeting with Gabriel again. Right now I want a man like Stanley in the body of Gabriel.” Susan said.
“What?. Are you high on something?. Why are we girls like this?. What exactly do you intend to do with Stanley now that you and Gabriel are back together?.” Lilian asked.
“I’m not giving up on any of them and i don’t trust Gabriel enough to focus only on him. I’m afraid that he might wake up one day to call it a quit again. And if I let Stanley go, I won’t have any man to run back to when things fall apart.” Susan said.
“Wait a minute. So you intend to keep Stanley as a substitute?. Someone who has good intentions towards you?. At this point Susan, I am fed up. I’m not going to involve myself in this matter again. Infact I wish you luck in this double dating game of yours. But I want you to know that an ex is an ex for a reason. In life, not everyone deserves a second chance. And you shouldn’t play a good man like Stanley who sincerely loves you.” Lilian said.
“Come on babe. You are being too serious. There is nothing wrong in keeping two guys. One will be providing good sexual pleasure while the other will be providing care, love, and attention. I’m still young. Let me enjoy this life for once.” Susan said.
“What will you do if Stanley finds out?.” Lilian asked.
“And how will he find out?. He won’t unless someone tells him. And I don’t think that person will be me.” Susan said.
“Is this what good s*x has done with your brain?. You don’t see anything wrong with being with that playboy. You don’t see anything wrong with playing with Stanley’s heart. I pray you don’t meet your end through this deadly decision of yours.” Lilian said.
“Amen.” Susan replied.
