Change of rules Episode 17

*EPISODE 17*
((CHANGE OF RULES))

Judging from Bayo’s reaction, Abeni could easily tell that he was upset by her sudden confession and that he was not expecting to hear anything like that from her. So at this point, she had no choice but to pretend her confession was a prank.

“Hahaha…..” She burst out laughing at Bayo, who didn’t find it funny at all as he had a lot running through his mind.

“How do you find this funny?. Abeni, are you serious about what you just told me?” Bayo asked, trying to clarify his curiosity.

“Come on Bayo, it was just a prank to get your reaction. Hahahaha.” Abeni lied sadly with laughter.

Hearing this, Bayo breathed a sigh of relief and asked again, “Are you sure of what you’re saying?”

“I’m very sure, Bayo. Come on you are my brother, so why will I have sexual feelings for you?” Abeni asked.

“I thought as much. But honestly, the prank was too much like, you caught me off guard. But did you have to go as far as kissing me?” Bayo asked, rubbing his lips.

“Why? Did the kiss move your heart in any way?” Abeni asked curiously.

“Not really, I just felt like it was an abomination. Do not get me wrong. You are beautiful and all. But the sudden kiss made me feel like we were committing incest,” Bayo said.

“For real? But we are not related by blood. So what would you have done if my confessions were true?” Abeni asked, crossing her arms, with her ears wide open in curiosity.

“What? Nah…” he said, shaking his head. “I can’t imagine that. Please, let’s just change the topic.” Bayo said waving it off.

“You are so funny. But your lips weren’t so bad though.” Abeni added, leaning back on her seat with a beaming smile on her face.

“Abeni, can you stop it? It’s not funny anymore. Like, how are you even comfortable saying such a thing?. It really sucks.” Bayo said with a straight face.

Seeing his reaction, Abeni couldn’t help but burst into laughter to hide her pain.

When Bayo started the car engine and drove on, Abeni pressed her head against the car window. And with pain in her heart, she said to herself.

“What a hurtful way to get rejected,” she said with a sad smile.

When Chief Afolabi returned home, he was still infuriated with what happened at the birthday party earlier.

And with that in mind, he quickly went to his daughter’s room to check on her. He stood at her door, and slowly opened the door peeping in. Then he saw Abeni lying on her bed, with her face turned to the wall.

He breathed a sigh of relief because he thought she had fallen asleep. But when he tried to close the door, he heard her sobbing softly. And that broke his heart because he thought she was crying about what happened at the birthday party. But unknown to him, she was crying because of the rejection she just received from Bayo. Seeing her in such a state made him so angry that he clenched his fist angrily and said to himself.

“Gerald Lawan. I swear on my honor. That I will make you pay for making my daughter cry.” He said. After that, he slowly closed the door and walked away.

Abeni, on the other hand, painfully recalled all the memories she made with Bayo. Starting from her childhood days to her adult years. Bayo had always been there for her. And she spent her whole life hoping that one day he would feel the way she felt about him. But after hearing his reply and seeing his reaction earlier in the car, Abeni didn’t need a seer to tell her that Bayo only had sisterly love for her and nothing more. This reality broke her heart even more.

“It would have been better if I had continued to live in my imagination hoping that one day he would become mine. At least that would have been better than realizing that there is no point in waiting and hoping for something that will never happen.” She cried bitterly.

Meanwhile, at Bayo’s house that same night, Bayo was busy editing the video footage he received from the camera sunglass. And when he finished extracting the part he needed, he forwarded the video to Oye.

“Keep it safe for now. And prepare to post it on the blog we created whenever I tell you to do so” He said.

“In that case, what is our next plan?” Oye asked.

“Nothing for now, at least in the meantime let’s sit back and see how Chief Afolabi will handle the situation,” He said.

“All right, I understand.” She said.
“But Bayo, don’t you miss me?. Because I really miss you. And also, this new apartment is so big that it feels so lonely staying here without you.” Oye complained like a baby.

“Oye, you know I miss you too. And I sincerely want to be in your arms right now. But as you know, we have a mission at hand. And I don’t want to get distracted at a time like this,” Bayo said.

“So you’re indirectly saying that I’m becoming a distraction to you?” Oye asked.

“No Oye. You know I didn’t mean it like that.” Bayo said.

“So what do you mean? You know very well that I can’t visit you even if I wanted to because I’m supposed to lay low and pretend to be dead until all this is over. I can’t even go to work or visit the store like I used to. I’m literally bored here. And I need you. Don’t you understand?. It’s not like I’m asking for much and you know it. But you always act like…” She was still nagging when Bayo ended the call on her.

“Wait a minute.” She said, staring at her phone in disbelief. “Did he just end the call on me?” Like wow. So Bayo now sees me as a troublemaker?” she asked, with her jaw dropping in shock.

A few moments later she heard her phone ring. As she stared at it, she realized it was Bayo calling.

“And what does he want from me?” Oye asked playing hard to get. “Well, it’s not like I want to hear his voice. I’m only taking this call because the ringtone will disturb my sleep if I don’t.” She said.

She then took the call and was about to say something when Bayo said,

“I’m at your gate. Come outside.” He said.

And without hesitation, Oye jumped up from her bed and rushed downstairs. She quickly ran to the gate and opened it for Bayo, who drove into the compound. As Oye locked the gate, she ran to Bayo, who was already out of his car and gave him a warm hug.

“I never thought you would come here tonight,” Oye said.

“I couldn’t bear to make you feel like I no longer care about you. That was why I drove all the way here to let you know that I love you. And nothing can change that. You just have to understand that my head is so full with many things these days.” Bayo said, lifting her face with both of his palms on her cheeks.

“I love you,” Oye said, smiling brightly at him.

“I love you more,” Bayo said, kissing her forehead.

“Why don’t we go to my room?” Oye suggested as she freed herself from him.

“No Oye. With the way I’m feeling right now, I doubt If I will be able to let you go once I enter your room.” Bayo said.

“That’s the more reason why I want you to follow me inside,” Oye said, rolling her tongue seductively at him.

“Oye. You are asking for trouble O. Let it be known that I tried warning you,” Bayo said, pulling his right ear.

“Shhh… you will wake my grandmother,” Oye said, silencing him with her finger across his lips.

Bayo silently followed Oye to her room. And as soon as they entered the room, he didn’t hesitate to pull her into a deep kiss pinning her back against the door.

Oye, who had been waiting for such a moment for a long time, quickly wrapped her hands around his neck while continuing to kiss him passionately.

Like a hungry lion, Bayo quickly grabbed Oye and carried her in his arms as she continued to kiss him. And slowly he carried her to her bed, where he slowly laid her down. And without wasting time, he quickly undressed himself while Oye did the same.

Oye stared at Bayo’s n***d body and was deeply pleased with what she saw. Everything was in perfect condition.

Bayo leaned in kissing her from her forehead, down to her nose, her lips, and finally, her neck while his left hand fumbled with her b***s, causing her to m**n deeply into his ears. Her sudden m**n excited Bayo even more that he lowered his hand slowly rubbing it deeply in-between her thighs. At this point, Oye wanted nothing more but to feel him inside of her.

Bayo was not in a rush like it seemed. He took his time to touch all of her sensual parts in the most appropriate way that sent an electric shock through Oye’s body. And little by little he slid his way into her bosom feeling the woman inside her. And every thrust he gave her sent pleasure down her spine. It was like a moment that shouldn’t end. But eventually, they came to their satisfaction and they both dozed off peacefully.

At exactly 5 a.m., Bayo got up and left before Oye could wake up. And throughout the day, Oye’s face was filled with brightness and an endless smile as she replayed last night’s memories in her head.

Later in the day, Gerald Lawan met with Chief Afolabi in a closed environment. There he offered him a huge sum of money to bury the case. But Chief Afolabi insisted saying he can’t
be easily bought with such an amount. Gerald continued to plead, but he stood his ground. Until finally Gerald promised to secure him a government position as soon as he wins the upcoming election.

Upon hearing this, Chief Afolabi accepted the money and agreed to bury the case. After depositing the money in his account, he returned home and met Abeni who was in the living room watching a show.

“I’ve sort things out with Gerald and he seems to be deeply ashamed as he has realized his mistakes,” He said.

Hearing this, Abeni gave him a quick look full of surprise and disbelief.

“Father? Are you being serious right now?” Abeni asked in complete disbelief.

“Yes, child. He deeply regrets his actions. So I think it’s best we forgive him. Besides, he is a man and he is prone to make mistakes. So let’s forgive him and let bygone be bygone okay?” he said holding her hand.

Abeni angrily hit his hand off and asked,

“Did he pay you to do this?” She asked.

“Watch your mouth, Abeni.” He warned.

“I’m so disappointed in you father. I can’t believe I actually gave you an opportunity to become a good father to me. But you still proved to me that you can never change, regardless of time and years. I am so ashamed to be your daughter. Indeed, you are all birds of the same feather.” She yelled.

And with anger, she stood up and walked into her room shutting the door behind her. She threw herself on her bed and cried bitterly.

A few moments later she called Bayo and told him everything that had happened.

After listening to her, Bayo was very angry that he said:

“It is obvious that these men are birds of the same feather. In that case, they leave us with no choice but to proceed with our plan. We will have to expose them in our own way.” He said, clenching his fist.
