Pamela instructed some detectives to help him track Thomas. After some days the detectives returned to Pamela with the news of his whereabouts, “Your excellency, from our research, we heard is in Ghana with another prisoner that was released too; Rolland Smith”
“Thanks for a quick feedback, I want him dead, and I want to see the prove”
“Count it done your excellency” They left and traveled down to Ghana. Within two days they Located Rolland’s place.
Silas was sitting with his father when Priscilla walked in “How is he” She asked
“Nothing has changed, he didn’t even lift a finger”. Priscilla went back to get her stethoscope, she examined him “Don’t give up on him Ok” she said moving closer to Silas, they kissed passionately.
Priscilla was losing his trouser when he shouted “I’m positive!”
“What do you mean by you’re positive,” She asked razing her eyeballs.
“I’m H..IV positive” He stammered
Priscilla moved backward staring with unbelief. They heard footsteps, “Is your dad back?” Silas asked
“He’s not” they remained silent, and hid as soon as the footsteps got closer, the Detectives entered the room and saw Thomas lying deadly on the bed.
“This one don die nau,” one of them said after examining him,
“I think they embalm him here,” another said. they took his pictures and left.
The night of that same day, Thomas began to make some movement. They rushed him back to the hospital, a doctor attended to him while they waited nervously for the Doctor, he came out smiling.
“Doctor, how is he?” Rolland asked
“He’s fine, I’m glad to tell you he’s back to life but..” His happy mood changed immediately
“But what Doctor” Silas cut in
“His memory is not yet back, he may not be able to talk or remember anything for now”.
“No not again” Silas cried
“Please take heart, is a gradual process, he will regain his memory” The Doctor assured them, he was discharged that same day.
Pamela sat in her office, lost in her thought “If I die who will inherit my properties, Silas is gone, I need to adopt a child asap” She called one of her aids, she confided in her, the Lady promised to get her one from an orphanage home
“Please I want it to be a secret, and I will like a video call when you get to the orphanage home, so I choose for myself” The Detectives walked in while the conversation was going on, they told her they have killed Thomas, showing her the picture they took of him lying helplessly on the bed.
“Thank you guys, you have so done a great job, you will be credited” They left, she also informed Kakamura.
Pamela’s aid visited an orphanage home, she put a video call to Pamela,
“That one there why will they tag her for sale, ask for her information, and get back to me”
She asked the caregiver about her, she forwarded her details to Pamela; “She’s named Triumphant, mothered by a madwoman, she’s HIV positive”
Pamela’s heart beats so fast, when she read the details, “Oh poor little girl, I chose her” Triumphant was adopted by President Pamela, she flew abroad for proper treatment.

Silas avoided Priscilla, but after some months he began to fall sick, coughing out blood.
“Silas you are dying,” he said to himself
