I knew it was time to tell Bella my wife, about the incessant pressure that I had been subjected to in my office.
As I got home that day, my wife welcomed me warmly. I took my bath and ate the delicious Egusi soup with fufu she served me before we went to bed.
Since we got married 5 years ago,we made it mandatory to always talk about everything that happened throughout the day whenever we entered our room.
We gisted, played and talked about everything that happened during the day. After some time, she started feeling sleepy. I knew I had to let the cat out of the bag….
“Sweetie,there’s something I want to discuss with you before you sleep”
My wife who was about to sleep off, jolted from the bed.
“Babe, is everything ok”
“Yes,everything is ok. It is just that my female colleague has been disturbing me for some time now. I have done everything to make her leave my life but all to no avail. She said she wants me”
She rubbed her eyes rigorously probably to wipe off sleep from her eyes.
“Babe, have you done anything with her? Be honest with me, please”
“Nooooo….I have never cheated on you and I will never cheat on you. I just told you because she has been making coming up with series of temptation in the office”
“Thanks for telling me. Just allow me to handle her”, she said dismissively while planting a kisß on my forehead.
“That’s why I fed you well on béd so that you won’t have the strength to even look at another woman out there”, she chuckled.
We made løve that night before we slept off wrapped in each other’s arms like babies.
My wife was the first to wake up the next day. It was on a Saturday which means that I won’t be going to work.
“Good morning sweetheart, hope you slept well”, she asked.
“Yes,I did”
“You were so good last night. Was there any secret behind it?”, She giggled.
“Spo.ilt bræt, leave me jhor”
“Eeeehn babe, that reminds me. Give me your phone! I want to invite that your female colleague to our house today. Just play along with me”
“Haaaa babe, what are you up to? Please tell me first before we proceed with any of your plans”
She held my hands and looked into my eyes.
“Please,trust me this time. Just play along with me and I promise you, my plan will work perfectly”
“Alright.”
She grabbed my phone from the top of the bed and sent a message to Ruby, my colleague.
I watched my wife as she typed the message.
“Hello Ruby, I’ve thought about what you told me and I am beginning to see reasons with you. The truth is that I am falling in love with you gradually. Please, can you come over to my house now? I want to spend quality time with you. My wife just travelled to her village and she won’t be back until 3 days time”
Immediately she finished typing the message, she looked at me, kis.sed my lips and sent the text message to Ruby.
Within 2 minutes that she sent the text message, my phone rang spontaneously.
As I grabbed my phone to check who the caller was, I discovered that it was Ruby.
“Hello Emmy, am I dreaming? This is too good to be true! Anyways, you will see me in your house in a jiffy. Send me the address immediately”, she said joyfully before she ended the call
My wife looked at me and gave me thumbs up….
“Babe, just go and pick her with your car from that junction. I will be waiting for both of you”, she smiled seductiv.ely
