**My Tomato Jos**
Episode 24
I did not sleep throughout that night, I kept praying deep within me that nothing should happen to my tomato jos. I already felt like she was my half, she was the only one that could make me complete. I woke up around 4:23am, I could not find sleep. I called Mrs.Adibe, she was surprised I had called her so early, i told her I would not be coming to school that day, she gave me permission instantly because she knew how passionate I was about my work.
Exactly 7:30 am that morning, the inspector called me that the culprit has been captured. My joys knew no bound, he also told me that after a hard all night torture they confessed. Amaka was the person behind all this as was suspected.
I went with Ada straight to the police station that morning. The inspector explained the whole scene to me. I was glad to see my tomato Jos, she had slept in the station that night because of, she ran to me and hugged me tight with tears rolling form our eyes.
Me: I thought I would lose you.
Caroline: what is my world without you.
Tears flowed down our eyes freely. They were tears of joy that could slowly make an ocean of happiness. Mr Amadi and his wife rushed into to the station 30minutes after I had arrived, they were thankful to the Inspector for a job welldone.
Amaka was arrested and sentenced to 25years imprisonment with no bail and hard labour.
I got a job in a company two years latter and left my teaching Job. Okon cried that day I resigned.
Me: Okon stop crying please, focus on your education, and remember all I have taught you education is the best legacy for the futute.
Okon: (crying) I’ll miss you Sir, I have improved tremendously because of you, I am now among the top four best students in the class because of you.May God bless you sir.
Me: Amen.
I hugged him tightly, a year after as expected Caroline finished her secondary education we got married. That day was the best day of my life. They say joy cometh in the morning, I felt happy that my Joy had come. It was a blissful wedding, my ex students came, Mrs Adibe, Razak were all in attendance. Ada also came with her husband whom she married a year before my wedding with My tomato jos, guess who the husband was, he was the Inspector. Ada latter married the inspector.
I and my tomato Jos then lived happily ever after.
