Ada recovered quickly from the hospital, we were discharged under two days. She was so traumatized, the experience was telling on her, she would cry most of the time I spent with her. I felt pity for her so I would stay with her almost all the time, consoling her, advicing her on the issue and also promising her that I would make sure that the prepatrators are brought to book. One night while in her room,
Ada: Seee what you have caused.
Me: Ada, I have begged you times without number, I promise to be here for you, it was not my fault.
Ada: What are the police doing about this.
Me: They said that they dnt have any proof yet, so they would investigate the matter.
Ada: What!!!
Me: Ada what do you suggest I do.
Ada: I feel you should meet with the so called amaka, beg her and if she does not accept then you have to act fast, a tooth for a tooth, give her what she wants.
Me: Wow thank you that’s what I would do.
Ada: (crying) I almost died that day.
Me: Ada please Dnt start.
I moved over to her bed and cuddled her tightly, surprisingly she gave me a deep kiss, I never reacted because I wanted her to be fine, so I complied by kissing her deeply. We slept in her room that night, I cuddled her tightly that night. But some guys are wicked , her so called boyfriend did not even call her before and after the event.
The next day I went to Amaka’s house, I found her in the sitting room
Amaka: ( angry) what do you want
Me: I want peace, I am tired of this tom and jerry games.
Amaka: hahah you call yourself a man and your here begging me.
Me: I would not have you insult me.
Amaka: Better go back to the so called love of your life.
Me: But.. Amaka, please, this is not fair to me, .. I know you sent those boys.
Amaka: Which boys, it is your I’ll luck that is following you.
Me: Am not daft do not tell me that, you knew I had your Nude pictures, so you sent your boys to come collect them, they also raped my neighbour who came visiting thinking she was my lover!!! Where the hell are you going with this.
Amaka: Yes!!! You started the games and am going to play it with you to the end. This is just the beginning, I sent the boys and guess what!!! More is coming wait for it.
Me: Amaka please.. I’ll will do anything…
Amaka: Only if you agree to be my lover.
Me: I am sorry I already have somebody, please.
Amaka: And pray I dnt find out who she is.. Or else I’ll..You know ..
Me: Okay, but am still begging..
Amaka: (angry) Get out of my house this minute.
I stood up and left. I brought out my recorder which I hid in my pocket. They say if you want to eat with the devill use a long spoon, so I made sure I recorded my conversation with Amaka just for proof sake. I played the recorder, I was contented with the result. I went straight to the Inspector to submit my recordings, I also told them not to arrest her yet.
