The next day I headed straight to Golden view restaurant. I met Amaka, she put up a straight face.
Amaka: What did you do yesterday, do you take me for a fool or something!!!

I stood up and bagged out of the resturanat. I was glad I am almost finishing my work with Amaka. I headed straight to my tomato jos house, he parents were around this time but they gave us space.
Me: I’ll love you forever.

We Hugged, laughed, played, quarrelled and settled. It was blissful

4weeks into the vacation, the principal, called me over to her house. I went straight to her house.
Mrs.Adibe: Wow, Mr Chika you Marvell me!!!
Me: Please am sorry how ma.
Mrs.Adibe; The Junior school certificate exams are out and we recorded a 100% success no single failure.
Me: (shocked) wow!!
Mrs.Adibe: Since you came to this school, I knew you have a promising future, You were so passionate about your jobs, locating all the loopholes and fixing them.
Me: Thank You very much.
Mrs.Adibe:(hand me an envelope)
From the school management here is a token for you.
Me: Thank you Ma ( I opened the envelope, it was a cheque for a 100k)
Mrs.Adibe:Thank God.
Me: Ma, this is really big I cannot imagine!!
Mrs.Adibe; Now you will start handling the senior classes in Economics, You have proven your worth, God bless you my son.
Me: Amen Ma.
I was so excited, a 100k, I would also have an increased salary for sure, but I was worried because I feared that Amaka might do some drastic. After the meeting at the Golden view restaurant, she had not called me. I went straight to see my tomato Jos to share the goodnews with her. Caro gave me a good hug as soon as she opened the door to let me in.

I took her to a eatery, a boutique, a cinema, we also watched a football match, before finally taking her home. I hope you can imagine how I felt, every moment was fun, with her eversmiling face.
