Episode 1
Heartbreak.
I’ve never cheated on Nancy my wife since we got married. I tried as much as possible to refrain from ladies. No matter how they tried to get close to me, I tried everything possible never to have anything to do with them.
I loved Nancy. I loved her dearly because she had been there for me through thick and thin.
Nancy was a very beautiful woman. She was extremely beautiful that sometimes, I wonder why God was impartial.
“Why would God mould her differently?”, I thought.
She had the right ingredients in the right places with her smile which could melt even a heart made of stone. Her hour glass shape made it difficult for me to walk with her on the streets.
Men would always try to get her attention even when she was with me.
When I met her during my friend’s wedding reception, I couldn’t let her go. I asked for her number although she hesitated before finally giving it to me.
I took it up from there. I told her my intentions for her and she accepted. I couldn’t have asked for any other thing because Nancy was everything I needed in a woman.
We were madly in love. We were Inseperable. Our love blossomed each day. I decided not to wait any longer before I propose to her.
I called her one afternoon.
“Honey, Nancy…my house just caught fire”, I said to her over the phone.
“Babe, which house? Are you okay? I am coming right away. Just wait for me”, she panicked.
Before 10 minutes, I heard her banging at the gate while calling my name,
“Babe, Emmy, are you okay? Come and open the gate”
I rushed towards the gate and flung it open. She hugged me tightly while assuring me that it shouldn’t bother me because she would be there for me.
But wait ooo…..
“Babe, you said your house was burning, right?”
” Yes love. The house in my heart. It is burning for you”, I chuckled.
” I don’t understand you. Why would you lie to me over the phone? What if I hurt myself because I was in a hurry to get here? “, She said angrily.
I went down on my knees and brought out the expensive wedding ring I bought for her….
“Baby, I prayed for a perfect gift and God gave you to me. You’re everything I have prayed for and I can’t wait to spend forever with you. Would you agree to take this walk with me? ”
She was awestruck. I knew she never expected the trick I pulled on her.
She broke down in tears.
” Babe ooooo, babe m… I will marry you. “, She jumped and clinged on me in excitement before planting a kiss all over my body.
Still on my body, she held me and kißsed my lips in a way she had never done it before.
“Emmy, I will never leave you. Neverrrrrrrrrr”
