NONSENSE MISTAKE
šEpisode 10
Oluchi was leter ushered in to the visitorās room.
She then thanked Ofoma for allowing her stay in his house. And he acknowledged.
āIf you need anything, donāt hesitate to call meā Ofoma urged
And Oluchi nodded, standing close to him, having the urge to hug and kiss him.
āNo Oluchi, itās not yet time. You have to control yourself otherwise, you will loose your every chances of getting him backā she said, controlling her wild feelings.
Then, Ofoma left the room, closing the door behind him.
āOh my God! Ofoma is now my dream man. He has changed a lot, to a more mature and organized man. If I had known, I wouldnāt have left him.
I thought that changing him would be a dream that will never come to reality. I should have listened to Chidimmaās advice then.
Anyway, all things are still put together for my sake. Itās never late for me, my chances of having him back are porous. Imagine the way he was talking to her, he is not even into her.
I was so happy watching the sad look on her faceā she paused, reminiscing the way Ofoma shoved Chidimma off, asking her to enter the room or leave the house.
āIām so happy, that my place in his heart is still vacant. So Chidimma, you will be wasting your time by staying here, because the Queen of his heart has returnedā she said, smiling happily.
Ofoma was in the living room, reminiscing the good old days. How he was so madly in love with Oluchi.
āI canāt stop loving her, I just canāt stop loving her.ā He blurted without knowing that Chidimma was standing behind him.
āYou canāt stop loving who?ā She asked, expecting an immediate answer.
āCome on Baby! Why are you getting insecure unnecessary. Off course I was talking about you. How can I stop loving a woman who brought so much joy and happiness into my life?ā he said, holding her on the waist and asked her to sit beside him.
āSo where is she, has she gone?ā Chidimma asked, expecting a positive answer
āNo, she is in the room, the visitorās roomā
And Chidimma flared up immediately: āShe is where? Baby, canāt you see that that woman is gradually having her way?
You should have asked her to leave. What relationship does she have with you that would warrant her spend the night here?ā
And Ofoma wasnāt happy with her reaction: āWait a minute, are you telling me that you canāt give a friend shelter in your own house?ā
āYes, a friend you said, but she is no longer a friend, she is an enemy. She made that clear to me today.ā
āEnough of this nonsense, Chidimma! Do I need to remind you that this is my house.
You donāt have any authority to instruct me on what to do here. She came to your house, you forced her out, I donāt have anything against that because itās your house, so now, allow me treat my guest the way it pleases me. Is there any problem with that?ā
āBaby, I love you so much, I donāt want to loose you. I canāt afford to loose you. Oluchi did not come for good, she came to create problems and separate us. Canāt you understand?ā She calmly asked, with a teary eyes.
While while they were still exchanging voices, Oluchi who overheard them decided to use the opportunity to her advantage.
āChidimma, watch how I will use all your effort to throw me out to my own advantage.
I will make Ofoma throw you out insteadā She then approached them in the living room and began acting innocent.
āChidimma my friend, it pained my heart on how you think that I came to ruin your happiness. Was I not the one who kept on calling you, advising you on how to make Ofoma happy so that your relationship will yield positive result?
Have you forgotten how I rejoiced massively when broke the news of your engagement to me? Why are you treating me like this? I have always meant well for you?ā
While she was saying all those things, Chidimma was shocked looking at her, trying to figure out what she was up to.
And Oluchi continued: āSee girlfriend, I will never hate you for this. You will still remain my best friend, and since you donāt want me here, I will leave.
Let me go and get my thingsā She said, releasing fake tears, heading to the visitorās room, pretending to get her things to leave.
āYes leave, you are not welcome here.ā Chidimma said
āSeriously, you surprise me. I am disappointed looking at you right now. That girl is your best friend, what has come over you? Iām sorry to say this, I am feeling irritated looking at you right now.
I want to make it clear to you, Oluchi is free to stay in my house anytime she wants, if you are not comfortable with that, the door is right over thereā he said, pointing to the door and then rushed inside to prevent Oluchi from leaving.
āYou donāt have to take her words seriously, she is only been childish.ā
āBut she doesnāt want me to stay. I donāt know why she is having such imagination that I came to ruin things for her. No Ofoma, I have to go, I donāt want to be the reason for your unnecessary arguments.
I used to think that Chidimma is a sweet kind girl, now it looks like I donāt know her anymore. Thanks for offering me shelter in your home, but I will have to goā she continued packing her things
āBut itās already late, where would go to, since you donāt have anybody in the city?ā
āI donāt know, my God will provideā
āThatās why I want you to stay here, donāt refuse meā he said, stopping her from carrying her bag.
āGood job Ofoma, you are doing exactly what I want you to doā she smiled in her heartā¦: āOK, if you say so, I will stay. Just that Iām scared of what Chidimma will do to me, now she is becoming over possessiveā
āDonāt worry about her, I will handle her. Here is my house, I have the full control, so relax, you will be called for dinner soonā
Ofoma is a fool if he goes back to Oluchi
I’m not liking this at all.
