Tolani episode 30

TOLANI 30 😲🙆🙆

Episode 30

Reading the note written at the back of the picture, my stomach got tight from anger and frustration.

I had no right to feel frustrated, I felt so.

“It is my sin and I will have to carry it.” I resonated within, tearing the nude pictures into pieces as Ruth and Chimaobi watched me silently.

I stood up, walked away from the both, walking into Chimaobi’s room.

In the room, I fell on the floor, sobbing.
The pain was much. The frustration was choking me by the throat, that I wished I could just cough it out and have my peace.

“Bae m, Uto m, come here” Chimaobi had stepped into the room.

My shock, anger, and frustration were squeezed out of me with the tight hug he gave me.

“You don’t have to cry. Linda shouldn’t make you lose your happiness. We will always find a way…”

“A way? Did you say a way? How…”
“Shhh!” He interrupted me, placing his hands on my lips.

“There’s no love without challenges and conflicts. The main focus for you and I is to keep fighting until success is won.” He sat on the floor with me, placed my head on his laps, running his hands through my hair and spoke encouraging words to me until I slept off.

I woke up around 8:00pm and found myself alone on the bed.

I stood up, walked into the bathroom, washed my mouth and walked into the sitting-room.

I found Ruth still in the house. She was seated with Chimaobi and the police man, discussing the issue.

“Baby girl” Ruth called out to me, hugging me closely.

“You didn’t go back?” I asked her.
“No nah… Why should I go back when you are unfine.” She said.

I sat down next to Chimaobi, who had his hands on my neck, feeling my body temperature.

“Your body is mad hot, babe. Please, stop thinking.” He laid my head on his shoulder.

“I have called your dad, mine, and the Inspector general. The Inspector general said he will get back to us,” he said as they discussed further. I didn’t say a word. I had lost my spices.

Afterwards, the police man excused himself and Chimaobi asked me to take some medications.

“Babe, here, have some drugs.”

My mom, dad, and siblings called me later with all of them giving encouraging words.

“When I called, I was told you were asleep. This is a fight that you must win” Yahya Segun, encouraged.

“Thunder will fire that girl if I get my hands on her. Woooh! They did not tell her who I am?” My dad started with his long talk.

“Ejoor, Baba Tolani, let me rest my head. I am drained.” I begged of him.

“Give Chimaobi the phone.” He said as I handed the phone to Chimaobi.

Later, I was seated on the bed in the room, racking my brain on who Linda’s informant was.

“Nobody, absolutely nobody, knew we would be home aside Ruth.”

“Could it be Ruth?” I thought within as I rushed out immediately to the sitting room.

“Chimaobi, please, come.” I said to him, going into the room immediately. He excused himself and stepped in.

“What’s that?”
“Who is Linda’s informant?”
“Are you asking me? How am I supposed to know? I have been thinking about this for days.” He said, slapping his forehead.

“Can’t you see. We don’t tell anyone anything about us aside family. Linda knew of our wedding date, my defense, every of my moves. I don’t share things with anyone aside …” I looked around and shouted.

“Ruth”
“What do you mean by Ruth?”
“Yes, Ruth. She is the closest and practically knows about everything we are up to.” I hit my laps like one who had found a missing treasure.

“Are you kidding me? You think your friend Ruth will step so low to blackmail you? For what? Common, come of it.” He said.

“But who then, she stepped in a few minutes after the stained shirt issue, asked you to get a shirt for me and as soon as you left, she volunteered to take me to Tessy’s place to change” I said to him, giving him reasons why I feel it’s Ruth.
“In fact, look at the message Linda sent to me.” I showed him a message I received from Linda a few minutes after I sent her a hate message, which read,

“You are such a heartless lady. You are such an ENEMY. I h*te you.” I wrote to her via SMS, and she responded thus,

“Lol… You should rather have an ENEMY who admits he or she is at war with you instead of a close friend who secretly puts you down. Shine your eyes, Ode.”

“Jesus! Chimaobi dropped the phone on the bed, shaking.”
“I am telling you. I was shaking when I received this. I had to call you.”
“What? She’s leaving this house right away.”
“Babe, no, it is late. Tomorrow’s morning she leaves.”
“No, we are going to call the police.”
“But you have no evidence. They will do nothing to her until there’s a proof.”
“What do we do?”
“Let her be tonight. Tomorrow’s morning, she leaves, and I will block her on all contacts. This is because we have no evidence,, and we need to be careful tonight. Thank God the police are here. I think she only gives Linda updates. Once I cut from her, Linda will have no updates.”
“Wow! God of Mercy.” Chimaobi exclaimed in shock.

To be continued!
Is Ruth, Linda’s informant?
Have Chimaobi and Tolani gotten the mole?
