“Give me back my grandchild!” Grace screamed , holding on the the hairy Humanoid, as it clutched the baby to its chest as it made it way down the corridor, slamming against walls .
the electric light would flicker on and off , her silhouette was seen running at an insane speed down the corridor . Grace forgot the ache on her knees and chased after the cat woman , She latched herself unto her back , and bite the hairy beast of Nike on the neck .
The baby was crying in terror , Nike searched desperately for a place to escape with the baby, but the whole windows had burglary proof . She slammed her body against the burglary proof it bent out ,shattering the glass windows into many splinters .
Grace grabbed an IV bar on in a room , the beast holding her grandchild had broken into , she hit it across the head . the grunt and howl from the beast was earth quavering.
It turned facing Grace , bare it’s fangs , her tail became rigid , she hissed , and threw the crying baby on the bed , her sharp fangs were pulling out of her skin .
She hissed as she bounced on the wall, flying into the air and landing on Grace , it began to bite her as she screamed .
“Help ! help somebody help me! ” Grace screamed as the claws sank into her face ,the sharp fangs of the human beast sank into her neck trying to severe the arteries on her neck .
The new born screamed , terrified of all the noise around it , the cat beast , snarled and growled at the baby , then it, bit Margaret’s mother’s face , as she wriggled on the floor , dragging herself under an empty hospital bed , the occupant had run out of the ward at the sight of the best .
Nike grabbed Grace’s leg and pulled the bleeding woman out of the bed . Just then the police men , who were guarding the hospital had been called . the generator was running and the whole hospital illuminated.
the grunting sounds from the injured beast could be heard from halls away , one of the police man picked the front baby from the room , clutched it to his chest and ran with her to a nearby Nurse. while the beast was busy mauling Grace.
the police man cocked his riffle , and let go multiple rounds of lead bullet into the body of the heinous beast . it growled in pains at launched at the police man , grabbed him , and pushed him with so much force against the window , while diving with him head, their weight shattered the window , the police man was below her as they crashed five stories to the floor .
A loud thud of the police man’s body hitting the ground, Nike used his body to reduce the impact of her fall, by landing on him . She hissed , and shifted into a black cat , not the beast and human cat , she ran Into a nearby bush .
.She was loosing so much blood from where the police man had shut her , she continued running through the bush , whimpering as she lost more blood , she lay under a large Baobab tree,and closed her eyes .
In the hospital the doctor rushed Mrs Grace into surgery her face had been battered , the injury on her neck was so deep , it oozed water whenever she tried to breath .
The claws of the beast had sank into the skin of the baby, Margaret was still unconscious, she lay in bed , forgetting all her worries .
She could hear her son’s cries , she knew she was dreaming her son has been taken and killed by the beast , her husband’s mother . But the cry got louder . she jumped out of bed .
“My baby , my baby !” She jumped out of her dream screaming. “Where is my baby ? where is my baby ?” She screamed grabbing a doctor .
“Madam Margaret be calm your baby is fine and alive he’s currently taking treatment, for some minor injury .” A young male doctor said to her .
“No take me to my baby ! take me to my baby !” she cried .
When she got into the room where they were treating her baby , she burst into tears as she ran to her crying Boy, he locked so much like Jacob .
“My baby ? my baby ?” Maggie cried for joy ,as she collected her son , tears of joy ran down her cheeks .
She could see the cleaners on the fifth floor , cleaning and mobbing blood stains , the fresh smell of blood hit her nose .
“Where’s my mother ?” Margaret asked , after searching for her mother , without any result .
“Maggie your mother fought the beast and made it possible, for your baby to be rescued , she’s presently on surgery , from the wounds she sustained from fighting with the beast who too your son .” Doctor Patrick said .
“please I want to see her , show me to her room .” Margaret begged .
“No you can’t see her till after surgery.” Maggie nodded , she clutched her son to her chest as she let out a silent , and quiet cry of joy and pains .
The Doctors went to the police man lying in the pool of his blood and checked for a heart beat , but he was kind dead and cold . The streams of blood flowed into the gutter , his handgun lay next to him .
Nike lay there bleeding , she was so weak , she couldn’t lift herself off the ground . she started making a call to her husband, if the sun meets her with her animal skin , she would die from the heat .
Afonja walked into the bush and shifted into a big black cat , he ran like breeze , he had to reach Nike fast or she would die .
