As time passed, Isabel and Dave’s friendship blossomed. Dave’s regular visits and kind gestures, like driving her to and from work, made Isabel feel seen and appreciated. She found herself looking forward to their daily conversations and laughter-filled moments together. Dave’s sincerity and attention towards her made her feel like she was the only person in the world. Isabel couldn’t help but be swept away by Dave’s charming words and actions. He would often surprise her with small gifts and sweet notes, making her feel like a queen. She began to rely on him for emotional support, sharing her dreams and fears with him. Dave listened intently, offering words of encouragement and comfort.
Before long, Dave asked Isabel out on a date. She was surprised but delighted by the invitation. With a fluttering heart, she accepted. Their first date was a magical evening filled with laughter, good food, and easy conversation. Isabel felt like she had found her soulmate in Dave. As they spent more time together, Isabel found herself falling deeper in love with Dave. She was captivated by his kind heart, sense of humor, and thoughtful nature. Dave seemed to be the perfect partner, always putting her needs before his own.
Not long after, Isabel introduced Dave to her parents, who warmly welcomed him into their home. Dave charmed them with his smart answers to their thoughtful questions, leaving a positive impression. He promised to visit soon with his family, which made Isabel feel happy and content.
Isabel also introduced Dave to Isabella, and Dave was surprised by their resemblance. Isabel and Isabella often visited Dave at his house, and soon Isabella started noticing many red flags about Dave’s behavior. She observed that Dave always made suspicious calls, and one day, she went to visit Isabel at Dave’s house, only to find that Isabel wasn’t there.
Dave was with another woman, even though he was pursuing Isabel.
Despite Isabella’s reservations, the three of them started going out together frequently. Dave began to notice that whenever he visited Isabel’s house, her father would talk down to Isabella, making her feel sad and lonely. Dave took advantage of this and started comforting Isabella, eventually asking her out. However, his intentions were far from genuine, as he wanted to exploit them for his evil business. He had initially wanted one of them, but now that he had two beautiful girls in his sights, he decided to play his cards.
Isabella refused Dave’s relationship proposal and warned him that she would tell Isabel about his suspicious behavior. Dave retorted that Isabel and their family would never believe her because she was insignificant in her family. Isabella confided in her mom about her concerns, and both of them went to Mr. Okafor to warn him about Dave’s true nature. However, Mr. Okafor didn’t believe them, saying that Isabella didn’t know anything and had graduated with poor grades. He accused her of being jealous of Isabel’s relationship with Dave, a well-to-do man, and told her that she couldn’t even bring a rich husband home.
Isabella felt hurt by her father’s words, but she didn’t give up. She told Isabel to stay away from Dave because he wasn’t what he seemed. However, Isabel !nsulted Isabella, calling her a b@d sister who didn’t mean well for her. She told Isabella to mind her own business or risk becoming enem!es.
