University of Manitoba is offering fully funded Scholarship Programs to financially help international students who are enrolled in the university’s programs.

The financial aid program which the University of Manitoba Scholarship Program offers is referred to as the International Undergraduate Student Bursary, which is meant to help international students who are enrolled in the university’s undergraduate programs.

To Be Qualified For The University of Manitoba Scholarship Programs:

You must:

Have your proficiency in English language
Meet the program-specific requirements based on the program(s) of choice
You must also have the general admission requirement based on your country of study or the general admission requirement based on your curriculum of study (International Baccalaureate (IB) or British patterned Education (GCE))

For Masters Programs you must:
Have your proficiency in English language
Have a 4 or 5-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a minimum of B average (3.0) in the last 60 credit hours or equivalent.

Certain departments could have more requirements and stricter standards. A statement of research interests or prior experience in the subject, confirmation from a potential supervisor, and results from admissions exams like the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are a few examples of these.

 

  • For the PhD Programs you must;
    • Have your Master’s degree or an equivalent from any recognized university and a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B or equivalent) in the last two previous years of full time study (60 credit hours) is the minimum requirement for admission to the PhD program.
