“If you are not joking; then this is a little of what is about to happen to you; or should I say, it is a sign of the predicament that will soon befall you.” Ada said.

Victoria didn’t say a word to Ada. Unlike her. She just remained quiet. After some minutes she still cried out for the driver to stop so that she will go down to urinate. This was the fourth time. After She urinated three more times which made it seven times she urinated on the way, she didn’t urinate again till we arrived our lodge.

When we entered our apartment, Victoria went straight to the bathroom and urinated again or should I say she was doing what only her knows because, while in the toilet, she kept making some weird sounds and mouning in a manner as though someone was making lovè to her or the person was touching her in some places, on her body. I was hearing her so loud. Could that be how she shouts or should I say how she m**n all the time she stops on the way to urinate? I thought to myself.

When she came out, she went straight to her bed and lay without saying a word to me. She behave as if we were keeping malice with each other. Maybe she was avoiding to tell me something. I thought to myself.

“Victoria, you need to call your father and tell him what is happening to you” I told her.

“I can’t call my father to tell him about anything” She responded coldly.

“Then call your Mom”

“I can’t call her either” She said.”remember, I told you, They wanted me to school abroad but I disobeyed them and they vowed never to be concerned about my insecurity.”

“But they have been the ones sponsoring your education and sending money to your account for your upkeep”.

“Yes they are sending money to me… But they said they would be involved in my insecurity”

“What you are going through now is not insecurity; it’s a matter of your life; your health!” I said with a loud voice.

“Don’t worry about me Kamsi; I will be fine” Victoria said, getting up from her bed. She went to the toilet again. I presume she wanted to urinate again but as she got there she still made those weird sounds she made earlier as if someone was having intercóurse with her but this time around, she was m*****g and crying at the same time and it made me to wonder if she was experiencing pains on her vìrgina or her urine was hard to come out and if that was what she had been experiencing all those times she enters a bush on our way coming back. I thought a lot of things but I couldn’t come to a conclusion on which one was Victoria’s situation.

As soon as she came out from the toilet, I had an urge to ask her why she was m*****g or crying; if a spirit was making lóve to her or there was something else she was doing to herself but I thought of how it would sound to her; if it would offend her and in oder not to add to what she was going through already, I decided to keep calm.

After some minutes, Victoria went to the toilet again. When she came out, there was tears in her eyes. She was wiping them off with the back of her hands but I didn’t come to understand that she was crying until she lays on her bed and I heard her sobbing. That was when I realized she was crying.

“Victoria….You need to phone your parents and tell them what is happening to you” I told her mildly.

“I told you, I can’t call my parents for anything” she responded in a low and pitiful voice. A kind of voice that made me feel sorry for her.

“At least someone in your family needs to know about what is happening to you. Maybe he/she can help provide solution.” I said and went to sit beside her on her bed. I raised her head and helped her to sit up.

“You need to tell your family. You can’t continue to be urinating every now and then” I told her.

“I wish what I go to do in the toilet and what I’ve been doing all this while I ask the driver to stop is to urinate. I just wish I was urinating and not the other way; and not what is happening to me now” Victoria said with a sad voice.

“What do you mean? What have you been doing then? We’re younot urinating” I asked.

“I’ve not been urinating…” Victoria said bitterly.
“I’ve been…” Victoria tried to tell me what was happening to her but a man’s voice suddenly interrupted her.

“If you dare tell her. I will kîll you” The man told Victoria.

I looked toward the wardrobe, where the man’s voice had floated from and behold, a man in his early forties was standing right before us, beside our wardrobe. He looked so unkempt and was holding a staff which looked like and idle.

Fear overwhelmed me. Goosebumps covered my entire body in fury. Who is this man? I know I locked the door when we came in. How did he come into our room?
