Pamela got home and went straight to the maid’s room.
“Madam!” They greeted bowing their heads.
“Where is Favour’s bag”
“Is here ma” They pointed at the bag. She carried it and bang the door, she picked one and throw the rest inside the waste bin.
Silas ran to meet her “Madam I was told you are looking for me”
“Where have you been,” Pamela asked suspiciously
I went to get some drugs ma, he showed her the wrap of cocaine with him.
“Take this to my room” she gave him a bag and the key to her room. She drove back to Kakamura.
“So unusual, Madam gave me her key,” he said and work hastily to the room. He drop the bag and began to look around. Python was drawn on the war of her room, her bedspread too was a snake design “Nawa o, how is madam sleeping comfortably on this” he muttered. He saw a photo book and glanced through it, “what!” He exclaimed as he removed one photo from the book. “grandma needs to see this” He ran back home.
Kakamura collected the cloth she put it on an altar, she sprinkled some things on it, immediately Favour started
displaying madness “young girl what happened to you” Silas grandmum asked holding her with the little strength she has. Favor began to speak gibberish Silas ran in.
“Thank God you came my son, I don’t know what happened to your friend”, Silas stood startled, seeing favor in such a state.
“Madam has done something to her, she took her clothes” tears rose to his face. “Mother please help me what can we do?”.
“We can take her to church”
“No mother, I don’t want to hear church!”
“Silas it’s only God that can help her now”
“Enough mother!” He carried her to an empty room, “I still love you Favour” he said and locked the door on her.
“Check this” he gave the picture to his grandmum
“Silas! where did you see this?” She exclaimed
“That’s my mother and her close friend you are talking about, right?”
“Yes Florence” the grandma began to cry
“She bears Pamela now, Is Ok, don’t cry, now I know where I will channel my revenge”
“My son please leave vengeance to God”
“Where is God, grandma where is God, where was he when my mother’s close friend; Pamela used her for a ritual where is God when the same Pamela lied my Father raped her, My father is still serving a jail term for an offense he knows nothing about five person’s from the church witnessed against him. They said they were there when he raped her, the people he pastored for years lied against him.” He wiped his tears “Now the same Pamela has turned the love of my life to a mad person, and you want me to leave her for God?”
“My Son, I don’t want to lose you, have lost everything except you, vengeance is of God, he’s a merciful God, and a consuming fire too”
“Enough! Just do me a favor, take care of Favour, I will marry her even in her madness, Vengeance is not of God, vengeance is mine” He cried and ran back to Pamela’s place.
“Where is Madam,” he asked the gatekeeper,
“She’s upstairs” He walked angrily to the stairs.
“Mr. Man, where did you go again, where is my key, what happened to you, you look sad”
“Nothing Madam” he handover the key to her
“Can I take you out tonight?” she asked smiling. “He’s not looking bad at all, let me inform kakamura I’ve found a man” she muttered within herself.
Silas expressed shock “What did you say?” He asked
“I said, can I take you out?” She repeated seductively
