EPISODE 16
Priscilla walked up to Silas “I’ve been noticing you for some time, are you taking your drugs at all”
“Drugs? I don’t have any”
“What!, why?” she made a call in his presence. I just book an appointment with a Doctor; Doctor Greg, He specializes in cases like yours, he can help out”
The following day they visited the Doctor, He confirmed his HIV status and placed him on medications.
“Doctor I have a question,” Priscilla said, “Can he get married, If yes what are the measures to put in place, so his wife and kids won’t contact it”
“Priscilla you are a medical doctor too, you know the risk involved the wife might get an Antivirus vaccine but not 100% guaranteed”
“Ok thank you Doctor” They went back home “I’m getting the Antivirus vaccine,” she told Silas
“Why? What for?”
“Because I want to be your wife” They gazed at each other “This might be difficult, I might sound stupid but trust me you worth the risk” She caressed his palms
Silas blushed “Give me some time to think this through, please”
He went to a private place and called Joyce, “Joyce I need your advice I’m HIV positive”
“Blood of Jesus” Joyce exclaimed
“And.. I’ve found love again,” He continued “she knows about my status and promised to be there for me. I want to hear your take on it, should I go ahead?”
“Hmm” Joyce sighed. “We need to pray about this. Please exercise a little bit of patience”
“Ok Joyce, thank you, and please always put me in your prayers” He ended the call.
Joyce inhaled deeply, “He has found love, so Favour is gone for life, I really miss her”. While she was deep in thought her phone rang, it was one of her old-time friends “Hey, precious you remember me today,” she said happily
Precious laughed “Yes o my friend, see there’s an offer at a psychiatric home, they needed a Nurse, you just came to my mind, I said let me confirm if you have interest”
“I’m very much interested please when should I come for an interview”
“Tomorrow is a good day, I will be there waiting for you” She ended the call
Joyce woke up as early as possible the following morning, she headed to the address Precious sent to her.
After her interview she was granted the Job, posted at their female ward, and asked to resume work immediately, she brought the good news to Precious where she was standing, “Congratulations” she said.
Both of them walked around the female wards somehow she sighted Favour, she screamed opening the gate to her room, She hugged her, Favour responded happily
“Wow she remembers my face” tears flowed down her cheeks
“How did you know her, she recognized you as well” Precious exclaimed, Joyce wanted to explain but the tears would not allow her
“Calm down first, once you are ok, you’ll explain I want to know,” Precious told her.
“I’m ready to speak now”, she wiped her tears and narrated how she encountered Favour.
They ran to the chief Nurse to ask about her baby “She was taken to an orphanage home, I guess” she replied with uncertainty.

Silas told Priscilla to give him some time, he started attending a Pentecostal church, participating in church activities as well. He began to worry about the condition of his Father, he took him back to the hospital
“Doctor, he’s not improving,” he said bitterly
“He will but we can make it quicker if we can get some things that will take him back to memory like his Old clothe, pictures, his old friends and so on”
“I get you Doctor” Immediately his mind went to the photo album he saw in Pamela’s room. “My Dad must know one or two persons in that album. I will still need to visit grandma and Pamela once more, maybe for the last time. But walking to the presidential villa now will not be easy. I have to try. I’ve never seen photos from grandma but I can get his old clothe from her”
He made research and found out a party would be coming up. Politicians including the president will be gracing the party, “Here is an opportunity to meet Pamela” he said.
He traveled back to Nigeria, and on the day of the party, he disguised like one of the securities and was able to move close to Pamela, “Is your man Silas” he whispered to her ears Pamela’s face brightened up. Her guards were trying to question Silas “Leave him is with me” she smiled asking him to join them at the table.
“What is your name young boy,” a woman asked as soon as he sat down with them
“I’m Silas”
“Ok, I’m called Kakamura”
Silas shocked hearing the name.
