Episode 4.
Immediately my girlfriend had disappeared with her comrades, I knew if we don’t escape now, we may not have another opportunity to.
Now will be a perfect time to tell us your plan, the muscular guy said.
Yeah yeah, I said, trying to sound bold. There’s something my girlfriend always said about supernaturals. She said you can only kill them the way the kill other people. We’ve all seen the way they killed the others guys, with poison and also slaughtering. I think this is the only way to kill them, I added.
I can’t kill anybody oh and I’ve never killed anybody before, Samuel said with fright in voice. Listen to me Samuel, I said boldly to him. I’ve never killed anyone before, and I also believe no one here as killed anyone before. But you have to understand that to survive you’ve got to the what you never thought you will ever do, I added.
So even if I agree to kill, how will I move my body as I’m being tied, he asked, looking directly into my eyes. There’s a bracelet around my wrist, my uncle in the army gave it to me, he said it as sharp as a knife and I could use anything when I’m being tied and need to escape. He also added that it can cut through anything, I said.
So how are you going remove the bracelet, another guy close to the muscular guy asked and I showed them my two freed hands. I could see how surprised they all were, when the saw my hands freed.
How did you… Distraction, I said, cutting Gideon short. Another thing you all should know is that, to kill them, you have to distract them. Once they get distracted, they won’t be able to read your minds as know your next move, I added.
The bonds on my leg wasn’t that tight, so I freed myself and told them the plan. The are knifes in this the boxes they left, I’ll free your hands and loose the bond on legs not to be too tight. I give each of you a knife, ones that is done, you’ll get back in position the way they kept you, pretending to have your hands tied. I also will get back in the position I was before with my own knife. Note, once I distract them, an on my signal, stab them the knife on their necks, then loose your legs, turn round and run like you’ve never ran before, do you all understand, I said and the answered yes.
But what if they come to search the bag again. Samuel asked. Know this, they don’t kill more than twice with a particular weapon, I answered him. How do you know all of this, the muscular guy asked and I smiled. My girlfriend told me all what I’m telling you guys now in parables. I never understood it then but now I do, I replied him. They’ll be back soon, so let’s all be prepared, I said, setting the plan in motion. I finished everything and we all went back to our previous positions.
It wasn’t up to thirty minutes after I was done, when my girlfriend and her comrades re-appeared. Are you all ready for the next game, oh sorry I mean to die, she asked, shouting and laughing m*niacally.
They are not, I said, drifting their attention towards me. But I am, I added they all laughed. She and her comrades walked close and stood in front of us all.
Tomi, I called her by her name. Before you kill me, can you do me the last honour of telling me your real name, I said. With pleasure, she said.
My real name is Marine, daughter of queen Elsa, ruler of the underwater world, and these are my sisters. We came here on land to kill your gender for fun, she said.
I asked her why, and she told me a story.
My father was a human, though humans aren’t accepted in our kingdom, but he was accepted because my mother fell in love with him. My mother loved him so dearly, that she promised him she’ll find a way to make him immortal like her, which she did find a way, but little did she know she was making a mistake. My father never loved her, he was only interested in power, money and fame. After my birth, he planned with some rivals of the kingdom to kill her mother and take over everything she owned. But he was so unfortunate the day he attacked our kingdom, because my mother took the immortality and the powers she gave to him and killed him. Ever since then my mother hated men here on land. One day she decided that I and my her friends here, who are like sisters to me down the underwater world, should come to land, give men all they would request for, then later kill them in a funny way.
After her explanation, I could see tears in her eyes. But you don’t have to do this, I said and her face turned red immediately. You all deserve to die for Everything one among your gender did to me, our kingdom and my mother, she shouted.
So you’re killing us for someone else’s crime, I asked her. Yes, but I’m sorry, she said. I’m sorry too, I said and whistled so loud (I had already told the guys that once I whistle, they should all stab them their neck.
Immediately I whistled, all the guys did as I instructed. But something strange I never expected happened. My girlfriend and few of her comrades disappeared before I and some guys could stab them.
I freed my legs immediately and shouted run!!!!!!!
