The Secret 2.
Early in the morning the next day, as she was helping me to pack some stuff that I will be needing for the journey, she drew closer to me and pleaded again..
“My king, I know you don’t want a third party in our marriage but, getting a maid will help us manage our jobs effectively and efficiently”.
“But….”
She drew nearer to me and our lipps locked passionately.
“You know that you can’t say no to me. Do you really want to travel for your training, knowing fully well that I’m not happy with you? Sweetie, please make me happy before you travel”, she nudged closer and hugged me tightly.
There’s something about Clara that makes it difficult for me to say no to her most times. If someone tells me that she used charm on me, I won’t argue with the person.
“Fine, you win. You can get a maid but you need to make sure that she’s someone’s from a good home”.
“A lady maid?”, she quizzed .
“Yes, I wouldn’t want a man who would try anything funny with you. You know how much I hatée sharing, right?”
“Alright babe, thanks for making me happy. Anyways, don’t you think we should….. before you travel”, she chuckled.
“Næughyy girl”, I said before we entered into the room and made løve.
We were still resting when my boss called to know if I was ready. I jolted from the bed, wore my clothes and set off.
Clara, my wife bade me farewell and wished me a safe trip before I left the house. The car sent by my boss arrived and took me to the airport where we departed to the country.
Barely two weeks after I started the training, my wife rang me on phone.
“Good day honey, how are you doing?”
“I’m doing well. How are you and the baby”
“We are doing great. Sweetie, I have a surprise for you”
“Babe, you know that I am not good at guessing. What is it?”, I queried.
“I’ve finally gotten a maid. Infact, she is carrying the baby now”, she said happily
“Wow!, You’ve gotten a maid already? Did you do a background check on her ? Where is she from? Who are her parents?”, I asked inquisitively.
“One questiom at a time. Don’t worry. Just focus on your training. When you come back, you will get all the answers you seek”, she said.
I couldn’t wait to go home and meet my wife because I’ve missed her sorely. After a month and one week, our training ended.
My colleagues decided to stay for some days before they travel home but I left them and booked a flight.
Apparently, I decided not to tell my wife that I was coming home because I wanted to give her a surprise.
Immediately I arrived, I dragged my box to the door and knocked at the door.
At first, nobody answered till I knocked for the second time.
A voice sounded from inside…
“Who is that?”
“Open the door. It’s me”
As the door flung open, lo and behold, I saw Lina, my ex-girlfriend whom I dated while in the university, staring at me in shock….
