*EPISODE 1*
(STUCK IN BETWEEN)
At exactly 5am, Lilian reluctantly woke up to the annoying sound of her alarm clock which she angrily turned off. Yawning helplessly, she stretched her arms and sat upright.
“Honestly, I’m so tired of all these 7am classes I swear. Mtcheeew…. somebody will not get enough sleep because of all these early morning lectures.” She lamented.
She dragged her feet into her bathroom where she reached for her tooth brush. After brushing, she hurriedly took her bath and dressed up for school. When she was done, she huriedly prepared breakfast of tea and bread.
Lilian was a 24 year lady who was in her final year in the university where she was studying mass communication. She was slim, fair, beautiful and had beautiful eyes. She lived in a self contained apartment with her room mate who had gone to spend the weekend with her boyfriend.
She was about finishing her breakfast when she heard a knock at her door. She stood up and walked to her door. Pulling it open, she was surprised to see her roommate Susan standing before her. Susan pushed her way into the room with her face totally frowned and her eyes swollen. Flinging her handbag to the extreme end of the bed, Susan angrily sat on the bed and folded her arms leaning her back against the wall.
Seeing her in such state, Lilian lost her appetite.
“Babe what is it?. Why are you suddenly back from your boyfriend’s house?. Did you guys fight again?.” Lilian asked sitting next to Susan who could not help but broke into tears.
“Is it that serious?. What’s wrong Susan?. Talk to me.” Lilian urged turning Lilian’s face to hers. Just then, she saw Susan’s swollen eyes. “My goodness Susan. What happened to your face?. Did that idiot hit you again?.” She asked holding Susan’s jaw in her palm.
“Gabriel did it again Lilian. He broke up with me….” Susan opened up with tears.
“Again?.” Lilian asked in disbelief. Standing to her feet she said. ” Susan, this is the fourth time for Christ sake. What’s his reason this time?.” She asked with curiosity written all over her face.
“I saw his chat with another girl. And when I confronted him, he gave me a stern warning never to invade his privacy again. When I tried complaining of how tired I was with his constant cheating, he pounced on me giving me the worst beating of my life. And after that, he pushed me out of his house and said I should never contact him again.” Susan cried.
“What in God’s name is your problem Susan?. Why can’t you let that good for nothing guy out of your life?. I don’t just understand. What’s so special about Gabriel that you keep going back to him whenever he comes back to plead for a second chance?. Don’t you love yourself enough to see that this guy is manipulative, controlling and abusive?.” Lilian queried.
“Because I love him Lilian. I love Gabriel with everything in me.” Susan Cried.
“That’s the problem. Why Susan?. Why do you even love someone like him?. What do you stand to gain from this unstable and unhealthy relationship of yours?.” Lilian asked totally provoked.
“Lilian. Gabriel is my first love. The first man that made me a woman. I can’t just stop loving him even if I want to.” Susan lamented.
“Susan really?. Even with his unchanging attitude towards you?. This guy hardly calls, text, or care about your well being. All he is good at is giving you good and satisfying sexual pleasure. And you think that’s all that matters?. Who said you can’t do away with the useless feelings you have for him?. You are always running back to him because you don’t want to give another man the chance of loving you. It takes being with another man to be able to realize what true love really is. The fact that Gabriel is your first love, or the first man that knew you as a woman, does not mean you are bound to be with him forever. Susan if a person always leaves you with mixed feelings, uncertainty and an unsettled mind, you don’t need to place your energy there. It’s high time you moved on from this unproductive relationship. Sexual pleasure is not everything. His attitude towards you is.” Lilian said.
You know how it is for a young girl who suddenly gained admission into the university. That feeling of excitement, freedom and the burning desire to explore, was what made Susan to follow her course mate to a club house where she met Gabriel 2 years ago.
Back then, Susan was 21 and a fresher who had no carnal knowledge of a man. She came from a very strict and well principled home. Which was why she never had the opportunity to be in a carnal relationship with a man throughout her stay at her parents house. Being in the university came with a new level of freedom. She wanted to know what clubbing felt and all other stuffs felt like.
Susan was a very beautiful girl. She was popularly described as a black beauty. Aside her beautiful face and we’ll curved body shape, Susan was quite intelligent. She had cute dimples and pretty lips that made her smile irresistible and charming.
When she started dating Gabriel who was 25 then, she tried avoiding anything that would lead to sexual intercourse between them. Cause she didn’t want to fail her parents as they had warned her against letting a man inside her.
Gabriel who was in his final year back then, was a fresh boy in campus. He was popular amongst girls because he was tall, fair and handsome. He had a well built body structure. His six packs and broad chest made him look extremely good and charming in any type of outfits he put on. His cute smile could easily melt a girl’s heart. And these were the reasons why Susan fell for him on their first encounter. Seeing him walking into the club that night, Susan couldn’t help but admired his cuteness and neat appearance. The way he smiled and the way he carried himself with class, swept Susan off her feet.
Gabriel who was an expert in the field, successfully lured Susan to his house one fateful weekend after series of convictions. He lived in a well furnished self contained apartment. He was from a well to do family so his room didn’t look anything like a student’s room. When Susan arrived, he engaged her in a lengthy discussion that made her feel relaxed. Then as time went on, he stylishly touched her hand gazing into her eyes with lust written all over his face. But Susan felt uncomfortable and shifted away from him. But he didn’t stop not when he had been patiently waiting and preparing for that day to come. Slowly and gradually, he lost his hand in her thighs rubbing it slowly and gently. Susan who had not experienced such a touch from a man before, became aroused and confused on what to do or how to react at that point in time.
Gabriel didn’t stop. He slowly bit her ear and whispered. “I love you Suzy and I can’t help but desire to feel your warmth. Relax and let me help you discover one of the sweetest and best feeling in the world.” He whispered.
“But….but….” Susan tried giving him excuses.
But Gabriel wasn’t ready for any excuses. Not when his junior was ready for action. He quickly shut her up with a kiss and that was all that Susan could remember. When he was done having a taste of her womanhood, he felt excited and satisfied to have traversed another virgin forest after a long while.
And from then, Susan fell madly in love and developed great lustful desire for Gabriel. She kept going back to him for more sexual pleasure and satisfaction throwing away everything she had learnt from home. Gabriel successfully brainwashed her with his skillful bed techniques that she could no longer differentiate between love and lust. She didn’t hesitate to run back to him whenever he came apologising for cheating or beating her.
Their first break up happened when Susan got to find out that Gabriel was a play boy two months after they started dating. She confronted him and he ended up beating her and calling off their relationship. Back then, Susan almost killed herself as it was her first heartbreak experience. She ended up going back to him the moment he apologized for his actions four months after.
Their second breakup happened when Susan went over to his place uninvited to surprise him on his birthday. She caught him sleeping with another girl and it broke her heart into pieces. She ended the relationship swearing never to go back to him again. But of course, after his usual pleas, she went back to him hoping that he had changed not knowing that he only changed his tactics.
A year after, Gabriel graduated and without stress, he was offered a job in his father’s company which was in thesame town where the university was. But for 3 good years of being together with Gabriel, Susan has never experienced true love, attention and care. She was always the one calling, texting and carrying the relationship on her shoulder. The only time Gabriel would take the relationship serious, was when he needed a woman to warm his bed. Although she wasn’t the only girl he was sleeping with, he enjoyed toying with her because he knew how much she loved him and how soft hearted she could be. He knew all her weak points. Where to touch and the things to say to make her run back to him.
But Susan on the other hand, believed she meant everything to him and he couldn’t do without her which was why he kept coming back to her.
