REGRETFUL
Episode 6
Isabella’s struggles to free herself from the chair became more intense, her hands and wrists aching from the tight restraints. But she refused to give up, driven by her determination to save her sister from Dave’s clutches. With a surge of strength, she managed to loosen the ropes and finally broke free from the chair.
Gasping for breath, she quickly grabbed her phone from her back pocket and dialled her friend’s number, her fingers shaking with urgency. “Please, come quickly!” she whispered into the phone, her voice trembling with fear. “Dave has Isabel, and I need your help to get her out of there. Bring the police, please!”
She ended the call and took a deep breath, her mind racing with a plan to rescue her sister. She knew she had to act fast, before Dave could h@rm Isabel any further. Her eyes scanned the room frantically, searching for a weapon to defend herself and her sister. That’s when she spotted it – a heavy vase on the nearby table, its edges sharp.
Without hesitation, she grabbed the vase and crept towards the bedroom, her heart p******g in her chest like a drum. As she approached the door, she could hear Isabel’s muffled screams and Dave’s sinister laughter. Her grip on the vase tightened, and she steeled herself for the confrontation ahead.
With a fierce determination, she burst into the bedroom, the vase raised high above her head. Dave’s eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, he was frozen in shock. That was all the time Isabella needed. With a swift and precise motion, she brought the vase down on Dave’s head, the impact sending a sickening crunch through the air.
Dave crumpled to the floor, unconscious, and Isabella rushed to her sister’s side. “Isabel, oh my God, I’m so sorry!” she exclaimed, tears of relief streaming down her face as she untied her sister’s hand. “Are you okay, Isabel? Hope he didn’t touch you?”
“He didn’t, thank God you came at the right time,” Isabel stated, her voice shaking with fear.
“We have to get out of here, now!” Isabella said, her eyes scanning the room for any signs of danger.
Together, they stumbled out of the bedroom, their hearts still racing with fear. But they knew they had to keep moving, to get as far away from Dave as possible. They made their way to the front door, their hands clasped together in a tight grip.
Just as they were about to go out, Dave laughed from behind. Both Isabella and Isabel turned only to see Dave with a gūn.
“How dare you, Isabella?” Dave said, his eyes blazing with anger. He went close to Isabella and hit her on her cheek. Isabella fell on the ground.
“No one has ever stressed me like this,” Dave said, his voice dripping with malice. “But Isabella, you have to d!e.”
Pointing the gün at Isabella, Dave sneered at her. Isabel ran in between, pleading with Dave to spare her sister’s life.
“Please, Dave, don’t hurt my sister. Do it for the love we once shared,” Isabel begged, her eyes streaming with tears.
Dave laughed, his eyes glinting with cruelty. “Love? You think I ever loved you?” he sneered, pushing Isabel away.
As Dave was about to sh”*t Isabella, the police and Isabella’s friend burst into the house, surrounding Dave and shielding the sisters from h@rm.
“Drop the gún, Dave!” the officer commanded, their weapons drawn.
Dave’s eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, he seemed to consider surrendering. But then, his face contorted in a snarl, and he tightened his grip on the gûn.
The police rushed in, pinning Dave down and disarming him. As they dragged him away in handcuffs, the sisters finally felt safe.
Isabella struggled to her feet, her cheek throbbing from Dave’s blow. Isabel rushed to her side, embracing her tightly.
“Thank God you’re okay,” Isabel whispered, tears streaming down her face.
Isabella smiled weakly, her eyes filled with gratitude. “We did it, sis. We’re finally free.”
Together, they watched as Dave was led away, his malevolent presence banished from their lives forever. They knew they still had a long road ahead, healing from the trauma they had endured. But they also knew they would face it together, their bond stronger than ever.
