Some times things happen for a reason other times things just happen for no reason, they just happen. Ada wished she would have me but I was already taken. I had in my mind, pray everyday that she finds a good man. The reason was because apart from being nice, she was selfless, Caring, loving and so beautiful. We were now leaving together, I had told Caroline about it and she had no problem with that fact. School has resumed and everything was going on well until I got a distress call.
Mr.Amadi: Mr chika is that you.
Me: Yes.
Mr.Amadi: They just kidnapped Caroline right now!!!
Me: What!!!
I was very shocked, confused. What was Audu doing.
Me: (still on the call) how did it happen
Mr.Amadi: I and my wife just came back from work, we met Audu dead , Caroline too was no where to be found.
Me; What!!!
I was so shocked, I hung up immediately and called the inspector.
Me: Inspector have you heard the news.
Inspector: Yes Audu is dead and Caroline has been kidnapped.
Me: What do we do!!
Inspector: Razak had traced some men who is suspected to be the gang has been using to torment you. They are four in number. Razak told me that he had sighted them discussing with Amaka yesterday, and this occurnce happened today.
Me: What do we do Inspector!!!
Inspector: Razak was able to follow them up to their hide out, as soon as I got the distress call from amaka’s father, I sent my boys to trace them to their hideout.
Me: so!!! Any News yet, please this is really serious.
Inspector: I am sorry, but they were not there, so I ordered my boys to lay ambush in their hide out for them, so we are still expecting a good news, my boys are in their hide out.
Me: Okay thanks inspector.
I could not sleep well that night, I was still trying to force some sleep when I got a call.
Anyninimous: You lover is here with Me!!!! We have been ordered to kill her

Episode 23.
The caller hung the call immediately. I was shocked, cold shiver went down my spine. It was as if the world was about to collapse. Thoughts rolled my mind, I felt since Amaka was going to kill my tomato jos there would be no point living. I felt terrible, I saw my world collapsing in a blink of an eye. I could not contend why some girls could be this evill and desperate. I was In a state of utmost confusion. While I was still trying to get some sleep I have received the shock of my life. My tomato Jos is going to die. I looked around the room for a rope, Ada was fast asleep, and I had made up my mind there was nothing living for anymore since my tomato jos is going to die. I finally saw a very long rope. I was still in my thoughts when suddenly Ada woke up.
Ada: What!!! What are you doing with that rope.
Me: There is no point living anymore, I just got a call from one of the kidnappers that.they are going to kill my tomato jos.
Ada; No Dnt say so, if there is life there is hope, I could have killed myself after I was raped, I could have killed myself after Rex left me, but I stayed strong. You have to stay strong dear.
Me: Okay, I will, I hope everything turns out fine.
Ada: They will trust me.
I hugged her tight as we laid on the bed. She slept back but I could not still find sleep.
Meanwhile the kidnappers latter came their hide out, the came I with a Van, Caroline was inside the Van with them. The police men who were laying ambush started spraying bullets, there was a very serious gun battle at the hide out, two of the police men were already injured, the kindanappers were not relenting they kept on firing. Suddenly the police decided to stop firing and see the next step they would take. One of the kidnappers came out with Caroline, he held her tight pointing a gun to her head.
Kidnapper 1: If you people make any drastic move, I’ll blow her head off.
The police officers never expected this move so they were short of ideas. One of the police officer the spoke out.
Police 1: What do you want
Kiddnapper 1: Drop your weapons and step forward.
Now readers let’s flash back to how the inspector had instructed the police to lay ambush.
Inspector: Razak take 20 men to the hide out immediately!!!!
Razak: Okay sir.
Inspector: While laying the ambush make sure you all do not stay in the same place. How is the hide out like.
Razak: Sir!! It is in the middle of a very lonely bush,
Inspector: Okay .. This is how you would do it, five men would stay at the front of the building, those five men are the one to start the shoot out if they kingpin arrives, five would stay at the back of the building, these ones should just monitor and not shoot until things get worse. Five men on top of the uncompleted building, this ones are for surrender cases. Then the last five men should be used to deceive them in case they make any demands.
Back to the present, the kingpin had already made their demands, since the place was dark with just very little rays of light, the kingpins could hardly see the police and the police could barely see the kingpin too. Three police stepped forward and dropped their weapon on their feet.
Kingpin: Is that all of You!!!!
Police 1: yes the remaining of our men are dead.
Before the king pin could say the next word, a police from the top of the building shot his leg, the kingpin did not expect that move, so he fell down as the bullet struck him, letting Caroline go, one of the police in front of him grabbed Caroline as she fell and lead her to them police van. The kidnappers who were just Four in number were captured by the police men, although one of the. Died while the others susistained minor gun injuries
