( the whole class burst into laughter).
Jsce.inv: Go and call that Mr.Chika for me.
I approached the Man and tried to beg him, he was so furious, he threatened to make sure that the exam was cancelled, he also said the he would make sure that the school was closed down for encouraging examination malpractice. I thank God Mrs.Adibe was not around while all these was going on, I could have lost my Job. I was so lost in thought.
Teacher 1: Mr Chika we are in deep mess right now, if the principal finds out about this you will lose you Job.
Teacher 2: All you just have to do is to bribe the man, we the teacher would make sure the principal does not hear of this incident.
Me: But teachers, this man would demand so much, I am not sure I would be able to pay his demands.
Teacher 3: Or do you know anybody that can intervene in this matter??
A thought crossed my mind, Amaka, yes Amaka.Amaka was a top official in the ministry of Education. I picked up my phone and dialled her number.
Amaka: Hello Darling
Me: Amaka please I am in a deep mess right now.
Amaka: What is the problem??
Me: I decided to help some students with some answers and one of them got caught
Amaka: Who is supervising the exam in your school
Me: Yeah .. Ermm..one Mr Hide
Amaka: Give him the phone immediately, I’ll handle him.
Amaka spoke with Mr.jide for some minutes and immediately everything went back to Normal. He also gave other students the chance to copy. After the exam Mr.Jide called me
Mr.Jide:I no no sey u know people oo (smiling) although I senior Amaka, she be my madam, if I disobey her I go lose my Job. She sey make I free you, sey make I no make any reports.
Me:( confused)

Mr.Jide:No be me you go thank, na Amaka you go thank.
Me: Okay sir
Mr.Jide:But that okon of a boy na Mumu ohh.
I.laughed but deep inside I was so mad at Okon. Amaka became my saviour for that day, the other teacher kept their mouth sealed about the event that had occurred that day.
On getting home, Amaka called me, I had forgotten to call and thank her.
Me: Hello
Amaka: (angrilly) is this how you do behave, You did not even bother to call.
Me: I am deeply sorry, thank God my day was not ruined because of you, I appreciate so much.
Amaka: Hope he compiled?
Me: Yes, in fact he said you are his boss.
Amaka: (laughs) Yeah but do not mind him.
Me; OK..
Amaka: Okay what , You have to thank me properly, You know since we started dating, we have not had s*x apart from that incident at the club.

Me: The exam should be over in a week time.
