MY SUGAR DADDY AND I
CHAPTER-THREE
Mr. Alain Atabong Pierre was more active unlike his age mates. He was 58 yet looking healthy and strong. He had a broad Chest which portrayed his masculine structure. He had a beautiful tan and sand brown skin tone which made him look younger.
Though Mr Atabong Pierre was strict, many girls still made advances at him and on several occasions wore revealing outfits just to get his attention. I didn’t blame them though the man was loaded, had no children, was attractive and to top it all, he was now a single man. So, students made it their mission to seduce him and get him for themselves.
Whenever David was out of school for an errand, Mr. Atabong will send for me and assign me to help him out with some tasks. I never refused because I felt he was somehow going through the same emotional pain I had gone through when my father left us.
“Good morning Prof”
“ Good morning Tewan. How are you doing”?
“I am good Prof. Heard you sent for me”
“Yes my dear. I hope I didn’t disturb your Class”
“Not really prof, we’re done for today and am about going home”
“ please I am late and my sister is home and preparing to travail back”
“I need you to go collect the keys from her for me and by 6:00 I will pass by and we meet at Commercial Avenue and you give me”
“Ok Prof but hope it won’t last more than that”.
“My brother’s is very strict and has never approved me going out in the night”
“What!! He exclaimed looking so surprised”
“How many years are you again? 18?, 17”. He said while laughing
I fidgeted with the papers on the table trying to dodge the question since I hated telling people how old I was, men in particular.
“Common your old enough to go get yourself a boyfriend.”
“You’re a beautiful girl for crying out loud and am probably sure old enough to carry someone’s child”
“How many years are you again?” he persisted
“I am …” before I could finish, his phone rang.
He answered and dropped and told me he will call me when he was done with the meeting and we parted ways.
On my way to his house I happened to have entered the same taxi as Ashley.
Ashley was one of my classmates, she is one of those girls scrambling over Mr. Atabong.
Since she knew I was that close to the Prof she made a mission to befriend me so that I help set her up with the Prof.
On several occasions I refused her request and she had concluded that she will make everything difficult for me till I get her what she wanted.
“Hey Ashley”
“Hey Mrs Atabong” she said as she chuckled
“How are you doing today and how is your sugar Daddy doing”
“And what’s that supposed to me”
“So you think we don’t know your little secrets hah?” she said why laughing
“So sorry to burst your bubbles girl, we know”
“Know what??” I asked sounding really confused
“ Wait a minute are you doing this because I refused to link you up with him?”
“Bright so you act all Churchy, Madam nice girl mean while you’ve been doing things ehh”? She
Laughed hysterically
“Baby girl come clean okay?. When you plan on leaving a terrible life leave it with your full chest, but if you decide not to leave it act holy in everything.”
Before I could answer Ashley, luckily for me my journey in that taxi came to an end.
Well, Ashley was not the type who gave up so easily but I was ready for her trouble. I never took her that serious that evening. After taking the keys I went straight home. When I arrived home my brothers were still at work as expected. There were days they come back really late and there were days they came earlier than Expected.
When the Prof called that evening I went and prepared myself to go give him his keys.
When I arrived at city chemist, I called him and told him I was there and he told me to wait just after the Bus station for him.
It was now 7:00 pm and I really wasn’t feeling comfortable standing out there. At any point in time anything could happen but that wasn’t my Main problem. My problem was my eldest brother, what will I tell him if I got home after him?.
For some reason, many girls my age had become baby Mama’s to scammers and some victims of Narcissistic psychos. He didn’t want me to end up like them. He feared that since I never grow up with my parents I was liable to becoming one of them and so if I had to Talk to him about a boy, he would only listen to me if it was a fiancé.
I stood there lost in thoughts as someone snatch my purse and ran as fast as he could. I screamed and tried to catch up with him but fell down and sprained my ankle. The people around tried following him but soon gave up.
I hadn’t much stuff in my purse except my phone and a few coins for transport. Mr Atabong arrived at the same time and helped me out. He offered to take me to the hospital but I refused since I had just a bruise. He took me to a near by eatery and pleaded that I tell him everything that had happened. After a while discussing and laughing, he told me he was sorry for putting me up to this and that he would make up for it.
He went to a phone boutique and got me a brand new iPhone 11 pro Max. Well no matter how I tried to refuse he won’t listen.
That night was quiet challenging and fun too. I didn’t even realize that we had been discussing for that long and it was almost 9pm
I know I was probably going to have it from Hillary that evening, I had a backup lie which was my purse being ceased.
But on the basis of where I went to and where I am coming back from at 9pm, as well as where I took a brand new iPhone 11 pro Max, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to say.
I opened our gate and went in as my heart beats faster than it had. I lucked the gate and went forth. Each step I made forward increased my heart beats and I was really becoming worried. I am sure they tried calling me several times and had probably been worried.
