EPISODE 27.
Our wedding day finally came . I was the happiest woman on earth. It was so good to finally be married.
My parents were really happy with me same with my siblings as I finally got married at the age of 39 while Dave was 45 years then.
His mother was really happy that her son was able to get a wife when everyone had given up on him ever getting married.
Our problem started on our wedding night when he told me I have to resign from my job as he would want me to be a full house wife . I rejected immediately and told him I do not want to be a full housewife after all my effort to be where I am currently.
I went to bed while he was utterly his rubbish because he had formerly agreed that I was going to work.
I woke up the next day to found out he slept on a separate bed . I was angry but decided to keep mute as I wanted to avoid trouble .
I was cooking when I received a call from work that my presence was needed ,I had to tell them it would take me some hours before I could come as I was currently busy at home.
I had prepared breakfast when I started preparing to go to work. I decided not to wake Dave up since we were not in good terms.
I got to work after 3 hours and I was presented with a letter . I had just been promoted to another level within a year ,this new level came with lot of benefits like a personal car,a house and a driver. I was afraid of what Dave would say when I get home.
I was congratulated by my coworkers and boss about the new promotion and was later dismissed that I should go back home to enjoy my honeymoon.
I had thought Dave would have been in a better mood when I get home and shared the news with him but that was a lie as I got home late due to traffic.
I got home to find out the breakfast I had cooked earlier was untouched and I could not find Dave in his favorite spot.
I decided to microwave the breakfast and prepare another one .
Dave came around 8pm and was shouting immediately he sighted the new car I was given. I was not allowed to explain when I was met with the greatest shock of my life.
What was the greatest shock,do you think I would be able to convince him ?
