Fighting two persons at once wasn’t fair especially when they’re both armed with knives 🔪 but that’s not the issue, it doesn’t matter where the knife is but who’s holding it and from where I’m standing this two men are just amateurs, they’re just holding this knife but they have no idea how to use it properly, After a while of measuring each other up, one of the guys made a move at me aiming his knife at me, he swung the knife out ferociously trying to cut me, I bent down and quickly dodged but not before I threw the stone at the guy’s midsection, He shouted in pain, letting go of his knife leaving himself defenseless, I quickly rushed by his side and dropped an elbow and the back of his neck, The guy fell down and passed out… The other guy seeing his companion bite the dust, He rushed at me furiously slashing his knife at me, I quickly gathered some sand in my hands and threw it in his eyes. Fortunately for me, the guy lost his aim and began to roam about trying to cut me, I quickly kicked his hand and the knife fell to the ground, I was trying to knock him out when the guy grabbed hold of me, He raised me up and slammed me to the ground, I felt pain all over my body, before I could even move the guy quickly sat on my stomach clutching my neck with both of his hands, His eyes were wild and he grinded his teeth in anger as he pressed my neck, I was helpless and my throat was hurting, so I quickly roamed my hands around the place to see if I could find anything, Luckily for me, my hands grabbed the knife of his companion, I quickly used it and cut his cheek, The brute quickly let go of me holding his face as he yelled out in pain, I pushed him off me and he fell backwards, as soon as his back touched the ground, I jumped high up in the air dropping both my knees on his ribs..

*CRACK!!!! *

The moment I heard those sweet melodious sound, i knew the guy was done for.. He lay still unable to move again.. After that I got off from him and stood over him and his companion, Unlike him, the other one was trying to crawl away, I laughed picking up his knife and went to his place, as soon as I got there, I grabbed the collar of his shirt pulling him close to the dirty gutter, I sat on his back and asked him who sent him. The guy kept his mouth shut refusing to say anything, and I on the other hand didn’t hesitate to soak his head deep into the smelly gutter, The guy gurgled inside helplessly kicking his arms and legs, after some seconds I pulled his head from the gutter and asked him again..

Lily ➡ I’m going to ask you again, WHO HIRED YOU? WHO SENT YOU TO ASSAULT MY FRIEND?

Thug ➡ Wallahi, nobody….
.

Lily ➡ Wrong answer!
.

I dipped his head inside the gutter again and this time I made sure he stayed there a bit longer, The guy kicked helplessly again, struggling to break free, after a minute I brought out his head and asked him again.

Lily ➡ I’m going to ask you again! WHO SENT YOU!!? WHO?

Thug ➡ (gasps) Al-Al-Alhaji…

My eyes widened with shock as I heard that… Alhaji Bature,… It seems like I’ve heard this name before but I couldn’t remember, but what could an Alhaji want with a girl with Hauwa, if he wanted her, he could just meet Halima and ask for her permission not send thugs to molest her…

Lily ➡ Why did he hire you? What were you assigned to do?

Thug ➡ We.. We.. We.. were ordered to.. rough up the girl.. I swear nothing else but that.

I grabbed the throat of the thug and put a knife on his neck, just as I was about to slaughter the goat, Hauwa came and intervened.

I grinded my teeth in anger as I heard that… Did she really think the law will do anything? Men like this aren’t punished by the law instead they’re being backed up by it.. I stared at the ugly face of the thug in disgust, all I wanted to do was slice his throat open and end his miserable life but I couldn’t do it in front of Hauwa, if I kill the man now, she’ll see me in a different light and I wouldn’t like her to tell Halima what kind of person I am.
So after taking a deep long breath, I let the thug go, but not before I kicked his face knocking him out..
Immediately after that, I tied both of the guys and lead Hauwa to her house, in that moment, Halima came out to see what was going on.

Halima ➡ Girls.. What is going on? I heard noises and shouts.. And someone was banging at my gate like a madman.. Did you.. Hauwa. What happened?

Halima rushed towards her granddaughter looking at her, she held her face examining it, Halima wailed seeing Hauwa in a messed up state.

Halima ➡ Waiyoo! Hauwa! Who did this to you? Lily.. What’s going on?

Lily ➡ Can we get inside? I’ll explain everything.

Minutes later inside Halima’s house, the 3 of us both sat in the leaving room, I told Halima everything that happened, I wanted to skip the part where I beat up those guys but Hauwa told her granddaughter how I valiantly saved her from her molesters..

Halima then left us and went into her room, Hauwa was pissed that nothing was going to happen to the Alhaji, Luckily for her, she has me on her side, I’ll be damned if that Alhaji goes free without answering for his cruelty.

After seeing what I needed to see, I bade her good bye and went back to my own house, as soon as I got there, I saw the two men the way I left them, the one whom I jumped on his ribs were barely moving as I touched him, I felt his skin cold, I then touched his wrist to feel his pulse but there was none, this guy was dead.
The other guy however was barely conscious, I wanted to call the police but I had to think this through…. If these men were arrested, the one alive would tell the Alhaji about what I did to them, and considering that I was going to murder the Alhaji, I don’t want any slip ups so in that moment, I decided to kill the guy.
I went behind him, wrapping my arms around his neck, I tighten my hold around his throat suffocating him, the guy struggled feebly until at last he stopped moving, even I could feel his life slipping out of his body and before long he was dead.. I stood up looking down at the two corpses before me, this scene was quite familiar, luckily for me, it was dark and disposing of these bodies won’t be a problem at all and I know just where to dump them.

Here in his air conditioned office, Alhaji Bature sits comfortably on his chair enjoying a cup of chilled Hollandia milk juice as he chats on WhatsApp,.. His momentarily enjoyment was ruined by the sudden entry of hid errand boy, Mallam sule who bursts into his office.

Bature ➡ Kai! Sule… What is the meaning of this rudeness… Are you senile?
.

Sule. ➡ I’m sorry Alhaji…. We have terrible news…
.

Bature ➡ Speak up.. What is it?
.

Sule ➡ Those thugs we hired to handle Hauwa… They’re…
.

Bature ➡ They’re what? Speak up man.
.

Sule ➡ They’re dead… Their bodies were found in the river located in Sallari.

The Alhaji laughs and throws the phone and then suddenly stands up banging his fists on his table shouting and boasting with fury..

Bature ➡ Can you believe this insult!? ME!? Alhaji Bature threatened!? Nobody can touch me.. I crush who ever messes with me… Sule!

Sule ➡ Yes, Alhaji…
.

Bature ➡ FIND ME WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS.. I’M GOING TO SHOW THEM HELL…. WALLAHI! FIND THEM.. DO WHATEVER IT TAKES.

Sule ➡ Alright sir.

After that, Sule leaves the office in haste, The Alhaji sits down angrily muttering to himself, in that moment, his secretary enters into his office to inform me about his guest.

Secretary ➡ Afternoon sir.. You have a guest waiting for you..

Bature ➡ Guest?

Secretary ➡ Yes.. She says she’s a student of mass com in BUK, she’s here on an assignment to interview you.

Bature ➡ I don’t have time for that.. Tell her I’m not in.

The Secretary goes out of his office and seconds later, the Secretary returns again and tells the Alhaji that his guest was unwilling to leave.

Secretary ➡ Sir.. She’s refused to leave… She insists on seeing you.

Alhaji Bature stands up angrily and walks out of his office to see who the stubborn lady is, as soon as he steps out of his office, he sees on plain skinny girl standing around looking at the place, he walks up to her and shouts at her.

Bature ➡ You stupid girl! What do you want from me? Do you think I have time to attend to you? I mean just look at you… I wouldn’t be caught dead hanging out with you.. God forbid.. I’d like you to leave this building at once.

Secretary ➡ Sir.. She’s not the one.. This girl is food seller down this street.
.

Bature ➡ Then where is the girl that you said that wanted to see me?
.

Secretary ➡ She’s behind you sir.
.

As soon as He turns around, the Alhaji gasps standing transfixed where he stood.. Standing before him is the stunning lily but in a little bit of disguise, she wears a suit and a small skirt giving her the look of a female banker and there’s the fake medicated glasses on her face, giving her serious student look. Alhaji Bature stares at her lustfully for a while, he quickly adjusts himself and addresses the lovely Lily.

Bature ➡ Ahem! Good afternoon young lady…. I believe you’re here to see me.

Lily ➡ Yes sir… I’m sorry if I caused any trouble.

Bature ➡ No,no, no,… Not at all, It’s the fault of my stupid secretary… I should fire her for her incompetency..

Lily asks the Alhaji everything about himself and the Alhaji answers everything.. In the middle of the interview, the Alhaji stares at Lily giving her a wink.. She notices his advancements and ignores him but the Alhaji wasn’t willing to give up.

Bature ➡ Psshh! Forget the assignment, I can even buy you a first class degree result if you want .. Come on girl.. What are you waiting for?

Lily smiles and bites her lower lips seductively, she stands up and cat walks to the Alhaji’s side sitting on his lap, she wraps her arm around him, gently stroking his thick long moustache.
