I decided to go see Anita in other to inform her about Vero request.
“Maybe she has found another maga again because that girl doesn’t stay truthful in a relationship.”
“Really? but why?.” I asked.
“I know her very well in that aspect because she do tell me how she normally dupe men around.” She said.
“And you still stick with someone like her Anita’.” I said exclaiming.
“I told her severally to stop it but she do debunked it, telling me I shouldn’t tell her what to do with her life. I had to leave her because I didn’t want our friendship to be ruined because of what is not really important.” She said in a frankly look.
“Na wa oo that girl na truly slay Vero as she had said.” I said.
“Of course, she is. I think there was this guy she told me about before I got kidnapped that he is so cute and she has been trying to have her way into him just because he’s rich and cleaned guy.” She said.
“Is she not also from a rich home?.”
“Of course! she is and her father is also a friend to the guy father.” She said.
“Then why is she bent on forcing herself on him when she’s is also rich.” I asked.
“I don’t know why she is doing all that, I just felt she is doing it out of a saying of playing a game of luck. Maybe she might eventually settled down with one at the end of it. So, if she should invite you to a Xmas party, I believe it should be the guy house or probably her family is going to have a gathering celebration.” She said.
“Hmm’ okay, but have you followed her there before? I mean to the guy house.” I asked.
“I will be back Anita.” Her stepmother said as she walked out.
“Alright mom, I have gone there with her like twice and truly Cynthia, the guy his so handsome ooo even though I only saw him from afar.” She said as I laughed.
“Definitely, handsomeness go dey the guy family be that (She laughed) who knows maybe I might meet my Mr Right there.” I said while chuckling .
“Why not, infact I almost fell for one last year.”
“Then why don’t you fall.” I asked as we both laughed.
“Is it not because I was dating that nonentity who I didn’t know he was only playing me that year. Well, let forget about that jare, let talk about how you are going to make a move by questioning her.” She said.
“Don’t worry Anita, it’s not something that I will do in a rush it as to be steady steadily because that Veronica of a girl looks so smart to me but she can never be way smarter than me.” I said as she laughed looking so happy.
“Infact, truly you’re a God sent. Ever since I encountered you, you have always been cracking me up with your doings and I’m so grateful to God for bringing you my way.” She said as covered my face while blushing.
“Awww π€ you’re making me shy π Anita.” I said as she hugged me from behind pecking me all over.
I have never in my imaginary life thought I could have the boldness or mindset to act for a purpose even though I know it got to do with emotions. One thing I just want to achieve for Anita is to bring shame upon that wic ked friend of her because she is a sheep in human cloth.
Some Hhours Later
Her stepmother came back along with her stepbrother.
“You’re still here Cynthia?”. She asked as I smiled at her saying YES.
“I will be going soon anyways.” I said as she obligated me to stay back in other to have dinner with them.
“Ha! no ma, you shouldn’t bother about it, initially I was about going actually before you came.” I said standing up to go.
“No, aunty please stay with us.” Her stepbrother said as I laughed carrying him up.
“Ohh’ darling, I would have loved to stay back, but the time is 5:25pm, it’s getting late and I wouldn’t my mom to be worried about me okay.” I said as he nodded his head in affirmation accepting my excuse.
Anita smiled at her brother and told him I would stay back next time.
“What about tomorrow Xmas, will you come?” He asked as Anita and I looked at each other.
“Don’t worry Blessed, aunty will come if she’s chanced okay.” Anita said tickling his cheek.
I didn’t bother to ask Anita how tomorrow is going to be because I knew already that she will be at home so, I headed to the door and bid them goodnight as their door bell rang.
“Are you expecting someone mom?.” Anita asked as she said NO
“Who’s there?.” Her stepmother asked walking towards the door as I pressed the door handle.
“Veronica ma.”
We all looked at each other as I closed the door back immediately and stepped back.
“What is she doing here?.” Anita whispered looking confused.
Her stepmother waved her hands at us that we should go upstairs.
“How did she know our new house? is this girl stalking you or what?.” Anita said as we peep through the staircase.
“I don’t think so, she might get your house address from someone in other to come see your stepmother.” I whispered holding up my bag closer to my chest.
“You’re right Sha because she might have gotten it from my mom office or probably from our neighbour.
“What are you doing here Vero?.” My stepmother asked in a harsh tone as she looks so surprised.
“Are you angry with me ma? you have never been this fussed with me before, what have I done ma?.” She asked standing at the entrance because my stepmother blocked her from entering.
“I told you not to come see me again! by the way, how did you get to know our new house? when have you been aware that I moved here?.” She asked her.
“I’m so sorry ma, I know I disobey you but I just couldn’t forget you just like that most especially when my friend is no more around. I know how hard it would have been for you and that’s why I had to find all means to get your new home address to come see you.” She said looking sober.
“Yeye dey smell for her head, while she con dey talk like person wey wan cry as if she nor know watin she do.” I said in annoyance looking at her from our heading place.
“You shouldn’t have gone to that extent Vero, your friend is no more here because I was told she has been eliminated by them…”
“Ha! Jesus! really?.” She said looking shocked as she interrupted her. I thought they said she abscond oo
“She what?.” Her stepmother asked as she changed her words that it’s slip of tongue that she didn’t meant it.
“It’s that slip of tongue that will kil l you!.” Anita said as I giggled.
“Slip of tongue right? no problem but I wished it could be so.” Her stepmother said.
I wished I could come out and give her the best beaten of her life for that pretence she’s doing. She brought out a bag containing snacks and chocolate saying it’s for Blessed.
“Thank you my dear, you shouldn’t have gotten this.” Her stepmother said and collect the bag from her.
She left some minutes later. We came out from our heading place and smashed the bag she brought repeatedly.
“That crazy bi tch! she almost exposed herself just now.” Anita said.
“Abi she don expose am already.” I answered hissing in annoyance.
Before I left their house I made sure there is no traces of Veronica around and hurried away.

I woke up with a grateful heart and feeling so excited because it’s Christmas. I have no family member to go visit, it’s just my mom said I always. I took my mother out last year Christmas to have fun before going to Florence house, but today I will be going out with my client, I mean my antagonist because I’m the protagonist that will be Dealing with her. I logged on to my Facebook account to post a Christmas post when I saw a notification from faith stories page. I clicked on it and saw a new story alert from her page ONE NIGHT STAND ON CHRISTMAS EVE
“This girl story Sha dey always burst brain, which one be one night stand again on Xmas Eve.
I have read so many of her stories and they are mind blowing, I’m sure going to read this story once I’m back at night. My mother entered to ask about my day plans.
“I am going out with my friends mom and I might come back late.” I answered.

“Merry Christmas Mom!.” I said and stood up to hugged her from behind.
“Same to you my daughter, I’m going to shop.” She said and pecked my forehead.
“Chai mama Cynthia, you too like money. When you supposed to rest today of all day” I said while laughing.
“My pikin, rest na only when person d ie ooo for this life ehn as long as you are still breathing, there can’t be rest because you will have to work to earn money.” She said.
“But me nko? have I not been resting?.
“You haven’t my dear, because you do go out at times.”She said.
“Okay ooo no problem but I still want you to always have some break from your work and relaxed because health is wealth ooo mom.
“I don hear you, if you dey come back Sha bring something for me.” she said.
“Of course! I will.

We alighted from the cab and headed into a building as we entered the gate.
“Is this your house?.” I asked looking around.
“No, it’s my friend house and also my father’s friend.
“Ohh!.” I said as we entered.
“I’m going to introduce you to my boyfriend.” She said excitedly.
“Wow, I can’t wait to see him, is he handsome and rich?.” I asked excitedly as she nodded her head.
“What do you expect from a slay queen like me, of course he’s handsome and infact ummuah! ( She blows kisses).
She saw someone she knows afar and ran to meet her excitedly.
“Florence!!! how are you doing?.” She shouted excitedly as I stood where I was in shocked.
I ran out from the crowd so that she won’t see me.
“She knows Florence, is she the one Florence is talking about? so, this is Gabriel house! eh! I hope they won’t see me like this.
I was panting and hurrying out when I collide on someone and fell on the floor on him.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry!!.” I said repeatedly while standing up to go immediately when I heard my name.
“Cynthia!!.”
I looked back and realized it was Gabriel I just had a clashed with. I made a u-turn to go when I heard Vero voice from behind.
“Where are you going Cynthia? I have been looking around for you, why did you disappeared just now?.” She asked as I look at her and back to Gabriel in disbelief not knowing what to actually say.
