The deafening explosion goes of as soon as Isabelle claps her hands releasing her devastating power… The tremendous impact of the cataclysm scatters and destroys everything in it’s path, It expands destroying from a 3 kilometers wide radius.. Both Elites and hall are decimated by the explosion, The entire hall crumbles away into tiny bits turning into nothing but an open field..
After a while, the dust finally clears and everything becomes quiet.. Corpses of the dead executioners are piled everywhere, even the Elites are scattered in different direction.
After a while, Felicia emerges from the rubble, staggering up slowly and painfully.. She isn’t hurt but she’s quite shaken by the explosion.. She looks around and sees there’s nothing in sight, no trees, no houses, just an open field with bodies everywhere.. She then begins to walk around looking for survivors.. After taking a few steps she spots Isabelle in the middle of the rubble, unhurt and without injury…
She looks with astonishment not believing what she’s seeing.. She decides to go confront Isabelle for the massacre she’s caused but stops halfway, when she sees Ade’s body fazing and by his side was Samson, who’s also unhurt as well…
She bends down and tries to touch Ade but she can’t.. His body is still in the phantom mode..
Terrified that he might be hurt, she begins to call his name.

Felicia ➡ Ade.. Ade.. Baby.. Are you alright?.. Ade.. ADE??
.

While Felicia is busy trying to revive Ade, Eze and Chioma are in the other side of the field right next to Kabir who’s coughing endlessly.
Three of them are quite injured and bruised, Eze and Chioma manage to stand up and help their friend.. They soon hear Felicia’s voice calling Ade’s name and they slowly walk over to her.. On their way there, They see Kaitlyn and Naomi together, both which are unconscious and bruised.. They tend to them trying to wake them up.

Meanwhile somewhere around the field, Moses, Rollins and Mary help each other up.. They go around the field finding their friends who might be caught up in the rubble.
In that moment, Mary hearts a faint heartbeat from an invisible object near by, as she gets close to the sound, She notices that the person was Iwonbi whose body was invisible because it was night time.
Mary helps him up but realizes blood stains all over his invisible frame.. She shouts for help and rest converge on her.

While half of the Elites gather on Iwonbi, The others gather around Ade whose body is still fazing.

Felicia ➡ Oh no.. What’s happening to him?

Eze ➡ I have no idea.. I’ve never seen him do like this.
.

Ace ➡ I think I know what’s happening to him.. I think shockwaves are his weakness.

Chioma ➡ What?? Shockwaves?

Ace ➡ Yes because I could remember Rollins telling me that his body was doing the exact same thing when he and Ali rescued you guys from the exploded container.. I’ve been studying Ade’s powers since then and It’s safe to say that shockwaves are his weakness.

Kabir ➡ But he’s fine right?

Ace ➡ I’m afraid not.. It looks like his greatest defense is also his greatest weakness.I

Felicia ➡ What are you talking about?? Speak in a way we can understand.
.

Ace ➡ If Ade keeps getting hit with powerful shockwaves.. I’m afraid… He’ll die..
.

Kabir ➡ But.. That’s not possible… His phantom ability is meant to protect him from any harm.

Ace ➡ Yes but shockwaves aren’t physical attacks.. It’s even a phenomenal that his body can achieve a phantom state, but there’s a limit his body can withstand phantom state . Shockwaves are very powerful and Ade’s phantomic state activates in an instant protecting him but that’s where the problem is… His phantom ability increases with the amount of shockwave discharged but I’m afraid Ade’s body cannot withstand or keep up with a level or state in which his phantom ability boosts up. If this keeps up, his phantom cells will soon dominate his entire cellular unit and…..

Felicia ➡ His body will become like this forever…

Ace ➡ Well, that’s right but the obvious outcome is death. But let’s hope he’s alright.
.

In that moment, The other Elites join together with Felicia and the rest dragging the injured Iwonbi with them, as soon as they get there, Ade’s body stops fazing but he hasn’t yet woken up, Felicia touches him and feels the warmth of his body and the beat of his heart, she smiles and hugged him affectionately.

Out of the corner of their eyes, Hajara appears at the scene with a car, Unlike the rest, she’s the only one that stayed behind at Felicia’s hideout.. After parking the car, Hajara walks slowly through the rubble avoiding the corpses of the Executioners that lay on the way, just as she was halfway, she shouts in shock as she sees the skewed body of Eve.
After being hit by the shockwave, Eve’s body returns to normal making her vulnerable, Since she isn’t the only the the shockwave swept away, her body was pierced by lots of items namely iron bars, wood, etc….
After being discovered by Hajara, Eve lies in her own pool of blood, injured badly, her breath becomes slow and her vision blurry, Pain surges through her body making her unable to move…
Hajara bends by her side trying to see if she could help her, some of the others soon join her and sees the horrific display…
Chioma vomits as she sees Eve in such a heartbreaking situation, Isabelle who also sees her bends down close to Eve shedding tears for her..

Isabelle ➡ I’m sorry… I’m really sorry.. I didn’t mean this to happen… God!

Eve looks at her and then smiles a little before closing her eyes… Rollins asks Mary to listen if Eve’s heart is still beating but Mary says no.. That Eve was already dead.

Isabelle ➡ Oh Eve… I’m sorry… All of you.. I’m sorry.
.

Joshua ➡ She’s a freak… She nearly k-lled us.
.

Gabriel ➡ We should execute her, her Power is too dangerous.

Felicia ➡ Touch her and I’ll make sure I finish what we started… You guys are the reason why this happened.. You chose to side with this witch and now look what happened.

Naomi ➡ Hey! We weren’t the one that blew up the entire place… It’s even a miracle we’re even alive.

Ace ➡ But Isabelle couldn’t help it… Iwonbi was about to be killed by Eve and she saved him.

Ali ➡ By trying to kill everyone? … Look at Iwonbi and Ade now.. They’re barely alive.

Ali ➡ Don’t forget.. They’re a threat and her father killed her sister.

Felicia ➡ Of course I support that, but did her killing stop there?… She was planning to k-ll innocent people… People who had nothing to do with this. If she hadn’t died.. Only God knows what would happen!

Chioma ➡ So what now? We can’t keep fighting with each other… We’re suppose to be united.

Ali ➡ No! We will follow Eve’s path… As long as they are people with the same ideas as her father.. We’ll hunt them down… I am tired of hiding like a rat… It’s time the people see my true self.. If they can’t accept.. I’ll force them to. Anyone who wants to join me is welcomed.

Joshua ➡ I’ll join you.

Gabriel ➡ Me too..

Naomi ➡ Me too.

Kaitlyn ➡ Naomi… You can’t be serious…

Naomi ➡ I am Kaitlyn.. I’m tired of hiding.

Naomi thinks for a while and then walks over to Rollins side.. Mary and Moses too crosses over to Ali’s side and the two groups stare at each other.

Ali ➡ So I guess this is goodbye.

Felicia ➡ Yes.. And let me warn you… If you dare cross our paths or try to assault us in any way… Just know you’ll be dead even before we even meet.

Ali ➡ You don’t have to worry about that.. We’re forming our own path… Come on let’s go.

In that moment, Police sirens blare into the atmosphere startling all of them, Each group dispersed going their separate ways.. Felicia’s group head to the Hajara’s car while Ali’s group run off to another direction, before the police arrive on the scene, everyone was gone.

After Isabelle’s shockwave hit me, Everything went dark, I wanted to save everyone in time but the only person I could grab was Samson… Lucky b-stard. 🤞

I had no idea how long I was out, it was like I was dead, But finally, I woke up in the land of the living.
As I opened my eyes, I saw myself in my bedroom, my visions were blurry at first but then it soon became clear… I looked around and saw there was nobody in the room, except Felicia.. She was asleep and her hands were tightly holding mine.. At first I was confused but after a while I realized what happened.
I tried to sit up but I felt pain all over, as I moaned out, Felicia woke up smiling at me.. She hugged me tightly rubbing her face on mine.

Felicia ➡ Oh Phantom… You’re awake.. Thank goodness.
.

Ade ➡ Felicia.. What’s going on? Where’s everyone?
.

Felicia ➡ They’re fine..
.

Ade ➡ Wait… Have you been crying?
.

Felicia ➡ Oh it was nothing.. How are you feeling?
.

Ade ➡ I’m fine… But I’m feeling a little bit pain.
.

Felicia ➡ Well, You’ll have to rest until you feel better.

Ade ➡ Sure.. If you don’t mind me asking.. Where’s Eve?.. Did you guys apprehend her??

Felicia kept quiet.. She didn’t answer me immediately.. The look on her face made me realize something was wrong.

Ade ➡ Felicia.. Where is she?

Felicia ➡ She’s dead.

Felicia ➡ No.. The shockwave killed her.. I’m sorry.

I was saddened as I heard that… Eve was dead… Just how powerful was this shockwave?? Besides she’s supposed to be alive.. I thought she has the ability to regenerate.

Ade ➡ Are you sure?

Felicia ➡ She’s dead, Ade… Mary confirmed the her heartbeat had stopped.

Ade ➡ That’s unfortunate.. It’s a shame she had to die..
.

Felicia stood up after I said that, She adjusted her tight shirt pulling it down, I watched her foxy frame admirably as she stood. I knew she wasn’t pleased when I mentioned Eve, so I tried to get back at her good side.

Ade ➡ Where are going?
.

Felicia ➡ Oh.. I’m going to travel for a while.
.

Ade ➡ Where are you going to go?
.

Felicia ➡ Wherever God decides.
.

Ade ➡ Come on.. Stay.. Stay with me.. I don’t want you go to.

Felicia ➡ That’s wonderful but I’m not the type that’s stays in one place for too long.. That’s how my life is.

Ade ➡ So when will you return?

Felicia ➡ I don’t know..

Ade ➡ So can you at least tell where I can find you, so that I may come see you?

Felicia ➡ (chuckles) Oh Darling.. I’ll let you see me when I want you to see me. Besides don’t worry about me.. I’ll be fine.

Felicia ➡ Me too.. Here’s a little parting gift.

Felicia bent down and gave me a lustful kiss 💋, We kissed for almost 8 mins before we stopped,.. After that, Felicia took her leave but before she could go out of the door, I halted her.

Ade ➡ Wait.. Let me give you something to remember me by… You can have my mother’s necklace.
.

Felicia ➡ That’s nice of you.. But I really can’t take it.. After all, it’s the only thing that reminds you of your mother.

Ade ➡ But you remind me a whole lot more of my mother when you put it on..

Felicia smiled and then blew a kiss 💋 at me before leaving the room,.. I slammed my fists on the mattress feeling displeased about her departure… I’m really going to miss her.. She might be annoying but she’s interesting.. I can’t believe I’ve lost two ladies I care about so much.
Minutes after Felicia was gone, My Aunt Shola came into the room with some medicine on the tray. She came close to my bed and sat at the edge touching my forehead.

Shola ➡ Ahh.. Ade.. You’re awake.. How are you feeling?

Ade ➡ I’m fine, Aunty.. When did you get back?

Shola ➡ Yesterday.. Your friends told me what happened..

Ade ➡ They did?

Shola ➡ Yes.. You tripped and hit on head on the ground.. You should be careful next time.

Shola ➡ Oya, take this medicine.. It will make you feel better.

Ace ➡ Iwonbi and Isabelle have eloped together.. They’re going to leave a normal life together..

Samson ➡ As for Ali and the rest.. They’ve gone rogue. They’re going to finish what Eve started. Poor b-stards.

Naomi ➡ Well, I hope they realize their mistake before it’s too late.

Kabir ➡ And speaking of Eve.. She’s dead.

Ace ➡ I like the idea.

Eze ➡ This is ridiculous.. We can’t be superheroes if that’s what you’re saying.. Superheroes exist in comic books.

Chioma ➡ Who says that we should be super heroes? That’s lame… Let’s be private investigators.. That way we won’t draw attention to ourselves.. Our dressing code will be formal in a way people will take us serious… The men will were suits, coats or jacket, and the women will wear a simple shirt and a trouser or slacks. Come on guys.. This is too good to ignore.

Ade ➡ You know.. You’re right.. I like this idea. It’s smart.

Kaitlyn ➡ So who’s going to finance this?

Ade ➡ Don’t worry.. I’ll handle the finances but for now.. We have to worry about school. We’ve been absent for weeks now.

Some days later, Ali and his gang stay in Julius house enjoying it’s comfort.. They burn every thing in the house that has to do with The Executioners..
Using Julius house as their quarters, they decide on their next plan of action.

Ali ➡ We’re running out of food and money.
.

Gabriel ➡ Too bad Samson wasn’t here.. He could have hacked Julius account.
.

Mary ➡ What are we going to do?
.

Moses ➡ It’s easy.. Let’s steal.. I’ll handle the operation.. I’ll just brainwash the people and get their money.

Joshua ➡ Yeah.. Let’s go for it.
.

In that moment, Mary reacts and looks straight at the door telling the others that someone is coming, they soon become alert and wait to see who the person is.. Soon, The door bangs open and Eve walks in surprising everyone.. Ali and the rest couldn’t believe their eyes as they see her fresh and new, There was no injury on her body or scare, it was like she was a new person.
Eve ignores them and goes to the kitchen to drink some water.. After satisfying her taste.. She returns to the living room staring at the rogue Elites.. She then laughs maniacally and takes her seat.

Mary ➡ How are you still alive?
.

Ali ➡ We saw you.. You were dead.. Mary confirmed it.
.

Eve ➡ Yes I was but don’t forget.. I have regenerative cells.. The objects that pierced me didn’t harm my vital organs so…

Joshua ➡ Then what took you so long?

Eve ➡ Enough!!! I overheard your conversations miles away… You’re not thinking big.. So it seems you have decided to join me?

Ali ➡ Yes. I hated you before but since you killed all the Executioners.. You’ve earned my loyalty and respect.

Eve ➡ Good!… Well,… If you all agree that I should be the leader.. I’ll make sure we’re unstoppable.. Join me and you’ll benefit a lot.

Gabriel ➡ Okay.. What’s your next move.. Are you going to hunt the others?

Mary ➡ You dey craze? Haven’t you heard Felicia.. You know how powerful she is huh?.. And don’t forget that Isabelle.. You saw what she did and that Ade.. He gave Ali a difficult time.

Eve ➡ Oh no.. We won’t fight them.. Not yet.. Our first task to assemble other Elites.

Eve ➡ My father has a database of hundreds of Elites… We aren’t the only ones.. And believe me.. If we recruit them to join us.. Ade and the rest won’t stand a chance against us.
