CHALLENGES OF A TEENAGE GIRL
CHAPTER FOUR.
It was Alex. He stood in front of a barbing studio staring at her as she made her way towards him.
Despite the fact that she was late, she decided to go see him but she knew something and decided to pour his anger on her that day.
“Wow the Boss lady has finally arrived” he said mockingly
“Hey Babe! What happened why are you all red?. Did someone annoy you??” she said
“Did someone annoyed me? That’s all you will say ??”
“So you finished frolicking with your Boyfriend and finally decided to come?”
“What boyfriend are you talking about? Aren’t you my boyfriend? Where’s all this coming from Alex” I asked perplexed
“What’s the Time?. Since you got up in the morning did you even bother calling me?. Did you even tell me you were coming?”
“I am here working my a*s out just so I can build a future for us and here you are being selfish”
She said she was too busy and could not text ti check up on him. Alex was not known to be very patient with anything. He ceased her phone and asked her to put her password which and she respectfully did. He took his time went through her messages.
He came across a message and discover the conversation between Marcus and her.
Well before Melo came, he had been pissed off by a friend and since he couldn’t do anything to calm himself, he had to look for someone to pour all his anger on and Melona happened to have just arrived at the right time. Poor Melona if only she knew what awaits her she would have flee the moment he started acting jealous.
When she went home, she decided to come spend the night with him because she had missed him during the weekends. It turned out to be the worst day of her life. She prepared something for them to eat and they sat eating, then all of a sudden he began talking about guys then he suddenly remembers Marcus then takes her phone again and went through.
Melo sat there innocently smiling to their conversation only to be awakened by a thunderous slap that sent waves down her ears. She wailed in pains and in confusion.
“Alex why did you slap me? What did I do”
“Who is Marcus”
“A friend of mine and my neighbor’ I told you that so many times why do you think I would cheat on you?”
No matter how much and as clear as the explanation was he just wasn’t going to accept such. Then he decided to text Marcus using her telephone but he still responded as any friend will. He sent a texted to Marcus that read
“Hey ma how are you?. Where were we supposed to go in the morning when you texted me?”
He responded by say “to school na Melo”.
Alex did not still believe so, he went as far as calling him and he picked and still said the same thing this time around even annoyed.
When a Narcissist wants to believe what he wants there’s nothing you can do that will convince him.
He took of his belt and beat her up as she continued wailing and crying. She screamed to the dismay of the neighbors, who were shocked.
It was about 12 in the night this guy beat her up and gave her bruises. She began heating his glass table and screaming the whole night to get the attention of the neighbors
“I am not cheating on you. Why are you treating me like this?”
Her tears meant nothing to him her loud cries fell on deaf ears.
It felt like he had had transformed to the demon himself because nothing changed his mind and nothing moved him no pity no remorse.
He wanted so much to be right that is why she struggled so much so she will accept it but she could not confess to something she did not do.
And he kept on persisting. She cried out her eyes the whole night. He asked her to keep quiet that she was disturbing his sleep but she couldn’t. Her neck was swollen and her eyes all swollen as if stunk by a bee.
The next morning he got up and her eyes swollen that she could not step outside least someone asked what caused it.
She laid in bed while he went outside emptied his trash can and came back asking what she was doing on the bed. She got up and stood forcefully but fell down and collapsed.
She had cried all night and became too exhausted. He didn’t care he left her there and went out. When. He came back to her senses he had already come back.
“Melona in my entire life I have never been seen as a bad person but today you have made everyone in this quartier to see me as a woman beater, I hope you are happy now”
Melona stayed quiet without saying a word nor even looking at him
“Today I greeted my landlady and she ignored me without saying a word” he continue.
“If you have come into my life to make people hate me please leave Melona”
Angrily he Said.
“I cursed the day I met you Alex. I hate you soo much”
but not to worry this pains I am going through you will pay for them someday.
That’s why Melona came home that evening with swollen ears and bruises.
One thing that was bad about Melona was that she was soft hearted and easily forgives which made her a pray and a weakling in the eyes of the people she meet and she always ends up being the victim. Not only was she that but she had once been abandoned by her biological father.
Though she was weak in that aspect, she was emotionally strong and easily heals from situations like this. Well in deed she had been bewitched by this guy because she went back to him.
He knew how he was manipulating her and ignored her for a weak. She tried to stay away from him but she just couldn’t and all my efforts went in vane when I tried advising.
He invited her and though she tried to turn down the offer but just like that she was back at his place. He was very romantic sweet and caring sometimes at least to the ears of the world, but other times he was the devils incarnate.
Melona had become very scared of this her boyfriend and what he could do to her but she still found herself so drawn to him.
