I came back earlier than my usual time because I wasn’t feeling too fine. I noticed that my wife was bathing in the bathroom and so I laid down on the bed to surprise her.
I was lying down when her phone started ringing. I grabbed the phone and checked who the caller was.
It was a number she saved as “Disturber”.
It was during our courtship period. I wondered who my Bella saved with that name.
Immediately I noticed that she was coming out from the bathroom, I hurriedly hid under the bed.
She came out from the bathroom and picked the call and put it on loudspeaker.
“Hello. Listen, I have told you to stop calling me because it will never work”, she warned the guy.
I laid still as I listened to their conversation.
“Bella, that your guy doesn’t love you at all. Allow me to shower you with love now. That Emeka you’re dating doesn’t love you and moreover, he’s poor”, he said to her.
“I will never leave Emmy, my love. I will never accept the 10 million that you promised to give me if I accept you. Go to héll with your money”
“I will make it 20 million!”, the guy thundered.
“You’re a stupíd man for trying to get a lady with your money. Instead of me to leave Emmy, I rather díie”, Bella said as she warned her never to call her again.
She ended the call and continued dressing up.
I was surprised.
How can a lady reject 20 million in this hard economy?
I couldn’t understand why Bella loved me so much that she was willing to give up everything just to stay with me.
I laid still under the bed till she dressed and left my house.
It was an unforgettable experience. That incident made me to hurry up and get married to Bella.
She never knew till date that I was aware of how she rejected another rich guy because of me.
That was the reason why I decided that I would never cheat on Bella no matter what happens.
Ruby was just wasting her time because she would never get me to have ßex with her.
I was on my way to the house when I received a text message.
It was Ruby, my colleague.
“Emmy, you can’t avoid me forever. It is you or no one else. I can’t just leave you because my heart, soul and body longs for you. I know that you’re a married man but I don’t care. I am not asking to be your wife! All I ask is that you give me the chance to show me how much I lôve you. Bye”
I read the message over and over again.
It felt surreal. Why does Ruby want me so much even when she knows that I am happily married to my lovely wife.
I have tried everything humanly possible for Ruby to see reasons why it will never work between us but she seems desperate to get me by all means.
I knew how desperate a wo.man can be if she wants a man by all means. I had to act fast to avoid falling into this temptation.
I guess it was time to tell my wife what has been happening in the office so that Ruby won’t land me into trouble.
