I look at my husband as if he has grown two horns
“I miss you soo much” He got up from his chair and sat on my bed, holding my hands which made me feel a tingling sensation like a highschool girl who was held by her crush
“Let’s go back to our home” He said and I chuckled
“Our” ke, It’s your mom’s house not our home”
“Stop this nau” He kissed my forehead and trail the kisses down to my neck
“Wait, What’re you doing?” I asked knowing what he’s trying to do, manipulating my vulnerable state
“I miss you” He said huskily in my ear and I shudder at his touch

The door opened and I whispered “Thank you Lord” as my mom came fully into my room
“If mom didn’t come in, something would’ve happened” I thought
“Bisola, Why didn’t you cook for your husband yesterday morning?” Mom asked with a scowl on her face and I was confused
“I cooked for him, Mom” I said and she looked at me as if i have grown two horns
“I don’t understand” Mom mumbled and I looked at my husband
“I cooked for you yesterday morning even packed your lunch abi” I nudged him to defend me by saying the truth
“Hmmmn” He scratched his neck nervously
“What did you do?” I whispered knowing he did something bad that’s why he’s nervous
“Ermm… N_nothing” He said
“Your husband told me that you didn’t cook yesterday and abused him even when he asked for his breakfast” Mom said and I screamed in horror
“Why did you start lying?” I turned to him and he look pale
“I_i d_didn’t mean to do it” He stuttered and I was confused
“Tell me the truth” I spat
“M_mo_mom told me to do it that you will come home when your mom hear it” He said and I went red in anger
“You mean my mother in law told you to lie that I didn’t cook for you yesterday and You did it?” I asked in disbelief
“Y_ye_yes, Am sorry” He mumbled biting his lips and I facepalmed
“GET OUT” I said and he looked shocked
“Bisola, Calm down o” My mom said
“I said “GET OUT” I shouted again and he scurried away
