A LOVE TRIANGLE
Episode 10
Annabel tried to focus on her classes, but she couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. Titi’s slap had left a red mark on her cheek, and she knew everyone was talking about it.
At lunchtime, Kamzy sat with her and Sophia, his eyes scanning the cafeteria for any sign of Titi. “I don’t trust her,” he said, his voice low. “She’s going to try something again.”
Annabel sighed. “I can handle it, Kamzy. Really.”
But Kamzy just shook his head. “I’m not going to let her hurt you again. I’ll talk to her and make sure she leaves you alone.”
Sophia nodded in agreement. “Yeah, Kamzy, you should talk to her. She needs to back off.”
Just then, Titi walked into the cafeteria, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on Annabel. She smiled sweetly and started walking towards them.
Kamzy stood up, his eyes flashing with anger. “I’ll handle this,” he said, his voice firm.
Annabel watched as Kamzy confronted Titi, his voice low but firm. Titi’s smile faltered, and she took a step back, but then her eyes narrowed and she smiled again.
“This isn’t over,” she said, her voice dripping with malice.
Kamzy just turned and walked back to Annabel and Sophia. “Let’s get out of here,” he said, his eyes never leaving Titi’s face.
As they walked out of the cafeteria, Annabel felt a sense of relief wash over her.
As they walked out of the cafeteria, Sophia turned to Annabel and whispered, “What did Titi say to Kamzy?”
Annabel shook her head. “I don’t know, but it looked intense.”
Kamzy overheard them and sighed. “She just threatened me, said I’d regret defending you.”
Annabel’s eyes widened in alarm. “Kamzy, I don’t want you to get hurt because of me.”
Kamzy smiled and took her hand. “I can handle Titi, Annabel. Don’t worry about me.”
But Annabel couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. She knew Titi was not going to give up easily.
As they walked to their next class, Annabel noticed a piece of paper on her locker. She picked it up and read the message scrawled on it: “Stay away from Kamzy or you’ll pay.”
Annabel’s heart skipped a beat. Titi was escalating her threats.
Kamzy saw the look on her face and took the paper from her hand. “I’ll take care of this,” he said, his eyes flashing with anger.
But Annabel just shook her head. “No, Kamzy. I don’t want you to get involved. I just want this exams to finish so i can get out of here i’m tired already,
Kamzy looked unconvinced, but he nodded. “Okay, It will be fine okay?”,
Annabel nodded, feeling a sense of determination. She was not going to let Titi bully her anymore. They went back to their dorms.
The next day, Annabel was in her history exam class when the principal walked in, looking stern. “Annabel, please come with me,” he said, his voice firm.
Annabel’s heart sank as she followed him to his office. What had she done?
When they arrived, Titi was already there, a smug look on her face. “So, Annabel, we’ve received reports that you’ve been cheating on your exams,” the principal said, his eyes narrowing.
Annabel’s jaw dropped. “What? No, that’s not true!”
But Titi just smiled. “I saw her cheating myself. She’s been using her phone to look up answers.”
Annabel knew she was being set up. She had never cheated in her life.
The principal sighed. “Annabel, we have evidence. Your phone was found with notes and answers from the exam. You will be suspended till we get to the root of this ,if you are found guilty ,you will be expelled with immediately effect.”
Annabel’s eyes widened in shock. How? The phone isn’t even hers , what are they talking about?
As she left the principal’s office, Kamzy was waiting for her, she told him what happened, his eyes blazed with anger. “Titi set you up, didn’t she?” he growled.
Annabel nodded, feeling tears prick at her eyes. “I don’t know what to do, Kamzy.”
Kamzy took her hand. “Don’t worry, Annabel. We’ll figure something out. We’ll prove your innocence.”
But Annabel knew it wouldn’t be easy. Titi had planned this perfectly, and now Annabel’s reputation was at stake.
Annabel left the principal’s office, feeling defeated and humiliated. She knew she hadn’t cheated, but the evidence against her seemed convincing.
As she went back to her dorm to pack her bags , she felt a sense of dread building up inside her. She knew her parents would be disappointed and angry.
When she arrived home, her parents were already there, their faces stern. “Annabel, what’s going on?” her mother asked, her voice firm.
Annabel took a deep breath and let it all out – the bullying, the suspension, and her relationship with Kamzy. She expected anger and disappointment, but instead, her parents listened, their expressions softening.
“We’re sorry, Annabel,” her father said, his voice gentle. “We had no idea it was this bad. We’ll support you, no matter what.”
Annabel felt a wave of relief wash over her. She knew she could face anything as long as her family was behind her.
But as they hugged, Annabel knew that this was far from over. Titi was still out there, plotting and scheming. And Annabel was determined to expose her, no matter what it took.
Kamzy visited her the next day , he called her to let her know he’s outside her apartment , she ran outside immediately to meet him,
“Hey,” he said, as Annabel came out of her house. “How did it go with your parents?”
Annabel smiled, feeling grateful for his support. “They’re on my side,” she said. “But we need to figure out a way to expose Titi. She’s not going to stop until she destroys me.”, Kamzy nodded ,he promised to help , he stayed with her for a while before he went back to school.
Annabel stayed home from school, feeling frustrated and helpless. She knew she hadn’t cheated, but the accusation had already damaged her reputation.
Kamzy came over every day, trying to keep her spirits up. They studied together, watched movies, and just enjoyed each other’s company.
But Annabel couldn’t shake off the feeling of injustice. She knew Titi was behind the accusation, and she was determined to clear her name.
One day, Kamzy brought over a surprise visitor – Sophia, Annabel’s best friend. Sophia had been investigating on her own, trying to find evidence to prove Annabel’s innocence, they hugged each other happily , Annabel asked her about school , sophia filled her in , they had fun discussing and playing , just then her phone pinged , she checked her phone ,it was a message from the school , she opened it,
It reads:
“Annabel, I’m afraid the school board has decided to take further action. You’re suspended for two weeks, pending a full investigation.”
Annabel felt like she’d been punched in the gut. Two weeks? That was forever!
Kamzy and Sophia exchanged worried glances. They knew Annabel couldn’t give up now.
“Don’t worry, Annabel,” Kamzy said, taking her hand. “We’ll fight this. We’ll clear your name, no matter what it takes.”
Annabel felt a surge of determination. She was not going to let Titi win. She was going to fight to clear her name, no matter what it took.
“Let’s do it,” she said, looking at Kamzy and Sophia. “Let’s gather all the evidence we can and present it to the school board. I want my name cleared.”
Kamzy and Sophia nodded in agreement.
“Let’s get to work,” she said, looking at Kamzy and Sophia. “We have a case to win.” They smiled ,
” we will check the school and gather more information , “Kamzy said and sophia nodded ,
Annabel saw them to the door and made them goodbye , she went back inside and sighed , she hoped they find something.
