MY DAUGHTER MY WIFE
Episode 11
After Madonna slept off that night, I went back to work, working as quickly as I could, and putting in my best to ensure the effort was worth the stress.
By the time I was done, it was just a few minutes before 5am. I was so tired and worn out, thinking of whether to start preparing for work, or to just sleep for a few minutes to enable my brain reboot, when the arms of sleep pulled me away.
I was very tired and in need of the sleep, so it didnât take much for me to succumb to the pulls of sleep and found myself moving to the rythme Madonna created as we lay on a beach sand, making love
A heavy knock sounded on my door, jolting me roughly out of the sleep, and making me realize I was only dreaming.
âWhoâs that?â I roared angrily, wondering who dared bang on the door of my room as if I was owing rent.
âIt is me, Bisi Ajayi, and I have come to tell that Jezebel to let you go to work Andrewâ my motherâs voice came reverberating into my room, shocking the hĂ«ll out of me.
âEkĂ Ă rĂČ iyĂ mĂŹâ I greeted swiftly, feeling like she could suddenly stretch her hands through the door like Elastic Girl from ‘The Incredibles’ and give me a sound slap for screaming at her.
Madonna had been woken by the bang on the door too, and she was sitting with a frown on her face as she realized that my mother was referring to her as a Jezebel.
I tried to kiss her good morning, but she pushed me away and got off the bed angrily.
Her baby bump was beginning to appear, and I could see how beautiful she looked in the sxxy bum short she was wearing, get bĆĂ”bs also looked fulller and more inviting.
I watched her walk out of the room, and I couldnât help but notice how her big butt rolled as she walked angrily towards the door.
âDamn this job!â I cursed under my breath, remembering that I had to run off to work when I should be making her lay that attractive bum on my bed.
I rushed into the bathroom and had a quick bath before dressing up as hurriedly as I could.
âWhat is going on here? Madonna, thatâs my mother your talking to in such a high tone!â I was saying when I rushed into the sitting room to find Madonna screĂ ming on top of her lungs at my mother.
âOh really? So now Iâm not somebodyâs child right? She had to hit my mouth this morning and all you have to say is that sheâs your mother?â Madonna fired, making me open mouth without being able to say a thing.
âDid you say I hit you? Did you just try to make me appear bĂŁd for asking you to shut your mouth and allow my son prepare to leave for work?â my mother asked, walking closer to Madonna to demonstrate what she had done before, to make me see what she had done, squeezing Madonna’s mouth as she placed her right hand over her.mouth.
I didnât need anyone to explain further to me, that my mother had apparently hit and squeezed her mouth as she tried to ask her to shut her mouth and refrain from speaking so loudly and end up distracting me from preparing to leave.
âBut, how am I going to explain to my mother that Madonna isnât her daughter and wouldnât be able to take those things she does to us her children?
âAnd how am I going to make Madonna understand that my mother is just like that?â I was thinking, standing there but not hearing a word as they continued to scream and tear at each other.
A honk outside my door made me jolt back to reality. I dashed out of the door to find Chuks my friend sitting in his car, and screĂ ming at me to get the hĂȘll inside the car.
My legs moved on itâs own accord and I was soon sitted inside the car, and Chuks was racing towards the office.
âLook Andy, if you donât put yourself together, Iâm gong to have to stay away from you. I canât keep covering your a$$, while you leave it open every minute because of your uncontrolled desire for sxx.
âIâm getting tired of you now. Youâre not a teenager for crying out loud!â Chuks berated me, looking truly upset.
âIâm sorry okay! I didnât plan to get late again today, but something happenedâ I tried to explain, feeling very bad with myself.
âAndy, youâd have been way sorrier, if the General Manager didnât believe the shĂźt I told him about your car breaking down and you calling me to come pick you up earlier
âYouâd have been in a hĂ«ll of troubles if I had missed you on the way and you arrived the office without me, when you failed to take your calls and know the game I had to play to save your headâ Chuks told me angrily, and I looked at my phone, to see that he had called me a dozen times.
âThe phone must have been ringing while my mother and my wife were at it again this morning. Iâm so tired Chuks, I really donât know when everything turned this wayâ I lamented
âWeâre here Andy. You better know the motor part that got you stuck on the way because youâre taking up the lie from there.
âAnd Andy, once youâre done with the General Manager, please come to my office, we need to talkâ Chuks told me and walked away.
I rushed to the General Manager’s office, grateful to God that I was able to finish the job before I shut down the system earlier that morning.
He looked at me in irritation as I scuttled around, trying to set up the projector to give him a demo of the presentation, just as he had requested for.
The General Manager refused to utter any word after the acknowledgement of my greeting when I entered until the presentation ended.
âMr. Andrew, like always, this is a superb job. Youâre good at what you do, I must say, but youâve got to put your acts in order. Itâll be a big shame if youâre going to get kicked out of this place, when we need you so bĂŁdly here.
âWhatever it is that is distracting you now Mr. Andrew, please deal with it! And do it promptly because this isnât the Mr Andrew I hired and have been working with for so long. Please donât make me have to take a hard decision about youâ the General Manager told me.
If only he knew that right after he told me the job was okay, I didnât hear any other thing he said, because my mind had drifted back to my worries, having ensured that I had successfully completed the task he gave me!
âMr Andrew!â I heard him call me, and knew that I had most certainly blanked out.
âIâm sorry sir, my wifeâŠâ I began but to my greatest surprise, my boss got up from his table, and walked up to me, holding my shoulder as he spoke.
âItâs okay Mr. Andrew, we have all been there, having to cope with family burden and getting so edgy when responsibilities become choking.
âIâll see what I can do about giving you a salary raise, and see how it can ease your financial burden, but you must also be prepared to do more for the organization.
âAs a matter of fact, I have just decided to add your name to the list of those going to Chicago for the official negotiations for the collaboration with our new internatiinal organization of interest.
âYes! Youâre going to be on that team because the only reason I omitted your name in the first place was because I didnât know your troubles were merely family and finance related, so now that we have an understanding, youâll be going!â he told me, patting me on the back, wrongly assuming that my mention of my wife meant that I was under pressure because of financial stress.
I didn’t see Chuks until sometime before closing because the General Manager had compelled me to immediately go to the department incharge of our travel arrangements and logistics catch up with more stories on Coolvalstories.
âYou need to stop laughing now Chuks, I donât see anything funny in what Iâve saidâ I said angrily as I sat opposite my friend, asking him for suggestions on what to do about what the General Manager had offered me.
âForgive me Andy, but I think youâre going crĂŁzy. How can you be looking all flustered that the boss had offered you a salary increase and wants you to go on a trip to Chicago, when we know the fringe benefits that go with that kind of trip, just because you think your wife wonât like the idea of you staying away for a fortnight?â Chuks asked, looking Ă ngry, himself.
âYou know what Chuks, I donât blame you. You donât know what it means to be in love, so you wonât understand whatâs going on in my life right nowâ I told my friend with a hiss.
âYouâre not in love with that girl Andy, youâre obsessed about the crĂŁzy things she does to you in bed.
âAnd if you as much as get a different kind of experience from another woman, youâll understand what Iâm saying. You have simply never had a good sxxual life before this timeâ he told me.
âI take exception to you referring to my wife like that Chuks. The one youâre calling that girl is my wife!â I roared.
âNo Andy, she’s just a piece of fantasy! A wife wonât be calling her husband endlessly during work hours and sending numerous messages to demand for sĂšx when she dĂŁmn well knows he should be workingâ Chuks told me, showing me my phone, with messages displaying on the screen.
I went berserk immediately, feeling like kicking Chuks to deĂŁth! How could he have taken my phone and made me feel I forgot it at home?
âSo Madonna had been calling me since? Who knows what may have happened at home?â I thought as I rushed out of his office and found my way home since I didnât drive to work.
âPlease tell the General Manager that I had to go for my car because itâs obstructing trafficâ I sent as SMS to my friend on my way home, glad that it was only a few minutes before official closing time.
