“What are you doing here?” My mom asked after I entered the house
“Momm, Let me sit down fess” I said with a slight frown
“I came to spend the weekend with you guys” I said and I didn’t miss the glint in her eyes
“Try your lies somewhere else not with me” She said with a frown and I cowered in fear explaining everything that happened to her

“But you’ve to go back” She said
“Mom, Do you want me to goan die ni?” I asked with a frown
“God forbid but you’re married already, Did you see me leaving your father’s house to stay in my own father’s house?” She asked in a sincere tone
“But Dad loves you and doesn’t behave like a baby husband” I muttered
“But still_
“When am going back in the next two days, We will go and be living there together” I mumbled biting my lips
“Huh, Why?” Mom furrowed her brows
“If my husband can bring her mom to our home then so do i” I said
.
“Ehhn, What about me?” I heard the voice and turned to see my dad
“Daddyyy” I shriek in excitement as I hugged him knowing he’s going to give me advice(s)

“So, Your husband is a Mama’s boy” my dad said, He’s a marriage counselor and I nodded
“My mother in-law knows literally everything going on in our home, He tells her everything with an excuse that “she’s an elder woman who knows more than us” I cringed when I remember the way he said it
“Hmmmn, I need to see your husband before I can start anything” My dad said and I frowned
“He won’t come, My mother in-law won’t let him come” I mumbled
“Is it this bad?” He asked and I nodded

I woke up the next day to see my husband sitting on a chair beside my bed and I shriek in fear
“Relax, You’re acting as if you saw a ghost” He said and I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand hoping I was hallucinating
“W_wh_what are you doing here?” I asked with a frown
“I came to take you back home” He said looking at his fingers like a kid who saw new toys
“Am not going with you” I groaned
“I miss you sooo much” He got up and sat on my bed
