AFTER THE CLASS
EPISODE 12
Tony’s eyes remained fixed on the screen, his mind struggling to process the news. Pregnant? Nancy was pregnant? He felt like he was in a daze, like he was dreaming.
He thought back to their time together, trying to remember if there was any possibility that he could have gotten her pregnant.
Tony’s thoughts were interrupted by a wave of panic. What was he going to do? He wasn’t ready to be a father. He wasn’t even sure if he was ready to be in a relationship.
He tried to calm himself down, thinking that maybe it wasn’t his. Maybe Nancy had been with someone else. But deep down, he knew that wasn’t true. He had seen the way she looked at him, the way she acted around him. She was in love with him, and he knew it.
Tony didn’t know what to do. He felt like his whole world was crashing down around him. He thought about calling Nancy, but what would he say? He didn’t know.
As he sat there, frozen in indecision, Tony’s phone beeped again. It was another message from Nancy.
“PLEASE CALL ME,” it read.
Tony hesitated, his heart racing. What was he going to say to her? He didn’t know.
Tony hurriedly packed up his stuff and left his office, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. He got home and dropped onto the couch, his head spinning. He didn’t know what to do. He felt like his whole world was crashing down around him.
After some minutes of sitting there in confusion, Tony stood up and went to freshen up. He needed to clear his head. He came out of the bathroom and dressed up in his casual wear, trying to calm himself down.
He picked up his phone and dialed Nancy’s number, his heart racing with anticipation. She picked up on the first ring.
“Hello?” she said, her voice shaking.
“Hey, Nancy. How are you doing?” Tony asked, trying to sound calm.
“I’m fine,” she replied, sobbing on the other end of the line.
“I got your message,” Tony said, his voice gentle. “I just wanted to confirm if it’s true.”
There was silence on the other end of the line for a moment before Nancy replied, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’m really pregnant, Tony.”
Tony’s heart sank. He had been hoping that it was a mistake, that it wasn’t true. But now he knew.
“Nancy, calm down,” Tony said, trying to reassure her. “I’ll think of what to do. We’ll figure this out together.”
“Okay,” Nancy replied, her voice still shaking.
Tony ended the call and sighed weakly, thinking of what to do. He felt like his whole world was crashing down around him. He was going to be a father. He wasn’t ready. He didn’t know if he was ready to be a father.
Tony laid on his bed, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions. He couldn’t shake off the feeling of responsibility that had been thrust upon him. He thought about Nancy, and the baby she was carrying. He thought about his own life, and how this would change everything.
As the thoughts swirled in his head, Tony’s eyelids grew heavy, and he eventually drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, Tony woke up very early, feeling a sense of determination. He knew what he had to do. He prepared for school, getting dressed and ready for the day ahead.
On his way to school, Tony stopped by a pharmacy. He had been thinking about this all night, and he knew it was the only way out. He went inside and made enquiries about abortion drugs.
The pharmacist looked at him with a serious expression, explaining the different options available. Tony listened intently, his mind absorbing every detail.
He bought the drugs, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. This would solve everything. He could go back to his normal life, without the burden of an unwanted child.
With the drugs in his bag, Tony left the pharmacy and headed to school. He felt a sense of calm wash over him, knowing that this would soon be over.
He got to his office, dropped his bag, and picked up his textbooks. He headed to Senior Class B, ready to begin his teaching for the day. He was determined to put on a brave face, to pretend that everything was normal.
But deep down, Tony knew that nothing was normal. His life had changed forever.
Tony entered the class, and the students greeted him with a chorus of “Good morning, Mr. Tony!” He looked around the room, his eyes scanning the faces of his students. And then he saw her – Nancy. He let out a sigh of relief, feeling a sense of calm wash over him.
He started his teaching for the day, focusing on asking students questions. Some answered correctly, while others struggled. But Tony didn’t mind. He was just going through the motions, his mind preoccupied with the situation with Nancy.
Soon, his time was up, and he packed up his stuff. He looked at Nancy and gave her a subtle sign that she should come to his office. He then left the classroom, heading back to his office.
Once he was seated, Tony stared blankly at an empty space, his mind racing with thoughts. He didn’t have to wait long before he heard a knock at the door. “Come in,” he said, his voice firm.
The door opened, and Nancy came in, looking down. She sat down in the chair opposite Tony’s desk, her eyes fixed on the floor. “How are you doing?” Tony asked, his voice soft.
“I’m fine,” Nancy replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
“I want you to come to my place tomorrow,” Tony said, his mind made up. “We need to talk and figure out how to settle this issue.”
Nancy smiled and nodded, looking up at Tony. “Okay,” she said.
And then she asked him, “What’s going on with you and Violet?”
Tony sighed, rubbing his temples. “Violet forced herself on me,” he explained. “But I warned her to stay off me.”
Nancy nodded, seeming to accept his explanation. She stood up, her eyes locked on Tony’s. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said, before turning and leaving.
Tony sighed, feeling tired. He was getting tired of all these dramas, but he didn’t have any option. Those girls were damn sexy, and they had huge curves. He smiled to himself, despite the chaos that was his life.
The school bell rang, indicating that the school hours were over. Tony quickly arranged his stuff and headed home, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. The day had ended peacefully, without any further drama.
The next day, Tony woke up late, feeling refreshed after a good night’s sleep. He did his chores, arranging his house and cleaning up. He took his time, making sure everything was spotless.
When he was done, Tony picked up his phone and called Nancy to know when she was coming. “Hey, I’m running a bit behind,” she said. “I’ll be there in an hour.”
“Okay, no problem,” Tony replied, trying to sound calm. “I’ll see you then.”
He ended the call and took a deep breath, feeling a sense of nervousness. How would he convince her about the abortion? He knew it wouldn’t be easy ,
Tony pushed the thoughts aside and took his bath, feeling the warm water relax his muscles. He then cooked himself a simple meal, savoring the taste of the food.
After eating, Tony relaxed on his couch, trying to calm his mind. He knew that the next few hours would be crucial, and he needed to be prepared.
As he sat there, Tony couldn’t help but think about Nancy and the baby she was carrying. He thought about his own life,
Well for now, he just waited, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions.
An hour later, Nancy arrived at Tony’s house. He welcomed her with a gentle smile and led her to the sitting room. They sat down on the couch, facing each other.
“What are we going to do, Tony?” Nancy asked, her voice laced with worry. “If my parents find out, it would be hell for me. And I can’t keep the pregnancy… I’m still in school.”
Tony nodded thoughtfully, his mind racing with options. “Do you have any ideas in mind?” he asked gently.
Nancy hesitated before speaking. “I thought of… removing it. But I’m scared of the outcome.”
Tony’s expression softened. “I made some enquiries,” he said. “I bought some drugs. It would be quick and easy. You won’t even feel a thing.”
Nancy’s eyes widened slightly, but she nodded in agreement.
Tony got up and went to his room, returning with a small package and a carton of juice. He poured a glass of juice and added the drugs to it. “Here, drink this,” he said, handing her the glass.
Nancy took the glass, staring at it hesitantly. But Tony urged her to drink it, reassuring her that everything would be alright.
She took a deep breath and drank the juice, setting the glass down afterwards. Tony smiled and took her hand, leading her to his bedroom.
He laid her down on the bed and sat beside her, cuddling her close. Nancy smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She was glad that Tony was with her in this.
As they lay there, Tony stroked her hair, trying to comfort her. “You’ll be alright,” he whispered. “I’m here for you.”
A few minutes later, Nancy started experiencing pains in her stomach. She winced and told Tony, who reassured her that it was normal. “It means the drugs are working,” he said.
Nancy nodded, trying to believe him. But soon, blo*od started coming out of her private p*arts. Tony rushed to her side and brought the sanitary pad he had bought earlier, as the pharmacist had instructed. He helped her to the bathroom and she put it on, wincing in pain.
When she came out, Tony gave her the pain relief he had bought. She drank it and laid down, trying to relax. But soon, she started writhing in pains, her face contorted in agony.
Tony held her and soothed her, trying to calm her down. “It’s going to be okay,” he whispered. “Just relax.”
Soon, Nancy slept off, exhausted from the pain. Tony breathed a sigh of relief and went to his sitting room, collapsing onto the couch. He soon fell asleep, drained from the ordeal.
An hour later, someone woke him up. He opened his eyes to see Nancy standing over him, looking a bit better. “How are you?” Tony asked, sitting up.
“The pains have stopped,” Nancy said. “But the blo*od is still coming out.”
Tony nodded. “It’s normal. It would stop in 3 days. It’s just the baby… going out.” He didn’t know how to phrase it.
Nancy nodded, seeming to understand. “I need to start going now,” she said. “Before my parents start looking for me.”
Tony stood up and escorted her to the door. When she left, he came back and sat down, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. Soon, this would all be over, he thought, as he drifted off to sleep….
