“Hauwa, you are a coward”
Segun said to Hauwa the next morning.
Hauwa is shocked and wants to say something but Segun laughs showing he was joking.
She forced a smile.
“I came to give you your broom but it seems you had a fight going on”
Hauwa replied
Segun smiled and went inside.
Hauwa prepared for school. On her way down she runs into Rita’s boyfriend.
He smiled at her and she waved. Rita had travelled and he had come to pick some of his belongings.
Hauwa remembered that night and how she felt as well as how he handled Rita.
She shrugged and waited at the junction. No Keke was coming through and so Rita’s boyfriend met here at the junction.
“Hauwa, you and school sef, he said.
“Joe, my school fees dey count na”
“I know but you suppose chill small, today na Friday ooo”
“Na true sha, the lecture no serious like that but I no wan dey house”
“Oya show my side, I go on generator come cook my special Indomiè sef”
“Hmm, okay na”
Hauwa said and they continued waiting for keke.
A keke came through and they entered.
Getting to Joe’s house, he put on the generator as he promised. The room was nice an neat. He put water on fire and rushed to get something outside.

Hauwa was now very comfortable watching TV while Joe prepared his special Indomiè. Joe laced it with a little w33d. That was what made it special according to him.
He told Hauwa that he was done and he brought it for them to eat.
Hauwa saw the w33d but she didn’t know what it was and she asked
“Joe, wetin be this green leaf?”
“Hauwa na wetin dey make the noodles special na”
“E no get name?”
“Na small w33d”
“W33D ?”
“Ehen nau”
“you wan make I run màd abi?”
“Abegi, you go just dey happy and your eye go red small, finish”
“Make we dey chop, you say na small abi? Anything do me, zanci ubanka”.
Hauwa said finally and they ate.
Some minutes later, the w33d kicked in and Hauwa was now feeling high, laughing carelessly and the fan seemed to be giving more air and she could hear everything clearly. Joe too was just laughing as well. Their eyes were like the eyes of a rat that was hit with a broom.
Joe stood up and went to switch off the TV and connected his phone with his speakers. He played music at Max volume.
Hauwa stood up and started dancing with him.
Hauwa rocked Joe.
They continued dancing and soon they were touching each other.
Hauwa faced Joe now and kissed him. The wetness had returned and the dancing and touching as well as the special Indomiè was not helping matters.
Joe responded and they fell on the bed.
Joe undressed Hauwa and she just lay there watching him look at her body smiling. She then took off his shirt and his trousers too.
Where she got her courage from, she didn’t know.
They were both stark n***d.
There was no going back now.
